Nabo Opiniões 

I joined Nabo with high hopes of getting different types of events posted to start connecting with my neighbors now I've retired.
The website itself is not user friendly and hard to navigate and find things. More often then not it was just advertising and a few posts by neighbors. But I did connect with a great group that got together for lunches every month.
This group was going along fabulously until recently when one member with mental health issues started causing all sorts of trouble within the group. I realise most of the group didn't really know the full story but posts by the troubled member were quite obviously not appropriate and Nabo would remove them regularly. Some of us blocked this person but Nabo continued to allow her to remain removing her posts as necessary. They did nothing concrete to stop the problem which would have been removing the troublemaker herself. Unfortunately the group that probably was made up of about 15 members is now no more. So 14 other people were not given any consideration by Nabo for the sake of one. According to Nabo they can't block anyone from a particular thread so without having to shut the thread down there is no way to remove a troublemaker if they don't leave Nabo. We, as a group, had previously discussed the various failings of Nabo and that the website needs a major overhaul. Just a warning to all to be careful of getting too involved with anything within Nabo because they do little when things go bad

After being bombarded with pointless emails, I decided to drop back to one per week. The emails kept coming, so I decided to opt out. The emails kept coming. I then complained directly to Nabo who told me they had a glitch & that I would no longer receive emails. This worked for about a week, then today I received another pointless email. I have complained again.
I have serious doubts about the motives of this Organisation and strongly suggest to people that they don't join.

I don't recall signing up with Nabo. My business event was posted on Nabo with not enough information. People think it is a free event and just show up, people say they have booked and paid but I have no record. I had to cancel an event and a person who I didn't have any registration details for turned up. I can't log in to Nabo to find out what is going on and NO-ONE will return my request to phone me.

They spam with you with constant emails and even after you've unsubscribed, they still harass you. I've requested over 20x to be removed from their database and still receiving junk emails!!!

NABO is a non entity....have tried to place an add but won't even allow me to register!! Tried 3 times, given up now so don't bother. It either hasn't been thought out properly or just isn't functioning for some reason.

Just wanted to sell my 4 seater leather lounge cheaply but it won't happen....sorry for anyone who may have been interested 0414 465 684.

Great concept to connect neighborhoods, works well in Europe but not here apparently! Ciao Louise

Saw it been Promoted on Ch7 The morning Show 2 get 2 knw ur Suburb n
surrounding ones 2. Signed up then the next x tried 2 login with Correct U/Name n P/W was told that it was Incorrect, send an E back 2 them, but
Nabo never bothered 2 Reply back. Am telling everyone don't bother 2 join up also like 2 knw why does Nabo is still been Promoted on Ch7 at all.
