The magazine is great, so engaging and informative and most of all fun!
Customer service is terrible
Magazine was good and delivered promptly but my daughter (5 year old) doesn't have any enthusiasm for it at the moment so after the first year tried to cancel (possibly with a view to re-subscribing at a later date)
They have a submit a ticket option on the website which I did on 30th June.
Standard email saying
"We are currently experiencing a higher-than-usual volume of inbound emails, but we are working hard to respond to all emails as quickly as possible."
"access to online accounts is temporarily unavailable due to currently undergoing an upgrade. We'll let all customers know as soon as this feature is available again!"
Therefore no option to cancel via your logon - Waited 8 days and no response so have sent another "submit a ticket" - same standard email response as before -
have now tried emailing directly to ngmintl (at) subscription.co.uk (cannot find a UK phone number)
Had a standard response as below:
"Your email has been received and forwarded to a customer services representative for resolution.
Your query is very important to us and will get back to you within 2 working days."
Hopefully they respond to this
I am unlikely to re-order from this company though due to all these problems.

Follow up - have now been communicating for 2 weeks now with no response (submitted 2 tickets / sent email to 4 email addresses / responded to request for info on Trust Pilot but still nothing)
This company should be reported to Trading Standards (as it is impossible to cancel a subscription) - DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY !!!
I ordered subscription over 3 weeks ago. No trace of my order. Money taken. Chasing customer service who are not providing any reassurance that they're dealing with it. No proactvity from the customer service team. Emailed again chasing today and anticipating another holding email. No contact number available to speak to anyone.
The magazines are great. They are full of colorful pictures and lovely facts. The activities are more or less the same in every issue. Could do with some more variety.
Appaling website and customer service is non existent. I couldnt cancel my renewal online as the website wouldnt work. I sent a ticket into customer service to cancel my renewal in May. I have just been notified they have taken money from my card for a renewal. This is not even a Direct Debit. They have just charged my card without my permission. There isn't any way to contact them by telephone in the UK so I'm stuck submitting another ticket to get them to refund the unauthorised payment. This is a dreadful company to deal with so don't bother.
My grandkids really enjoy this magazine. It is easy to read and has lots of interesting facts that suited their age.
Bright and colourful. Thank you to those that wrote the articles and published the magazine. Has been well worth it. And they loved getting mail.

Absolute disgrace of a company. **Edit** To be fair they responded to me within 12 hours to apologise and offered me a free book. However, I still believe that there should be a contact number for urgent queries like mine and there is no way that the possibility of accidentally charging someone's card should exist.

It is really interesting and keeps me entertained whenever I'm feeling bored. Definitely five stars!!!
We love this magazine and all we’re learning from it. We have just moved up from the little kids to the kids subscription and the only downside is the writing - which is very small which my 6 year old struggles with.
It was a gift for my grandchildren and they are thoroughly enjoying the magazine and all the activities that goes with it.
My son is only 2.5yrs old but he loves reading with us at breakfast and dinner. He will always ask for his "animal magazine with the stickers". I love the price point also as we bought the subscription on offer and its worth every penny.
My nine year old daughter absolutely loves this magazine, she looks forward to its delivery every month. It’s full of interesting articles, facts and activities. Keep up the great work. Your magazine is fantastic.
We had such a lovely experience with National Geographic Kids. Jade and the team were friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy. Seeing our son’s story featured in the magazine absolutely made his day and it’s even inspired a few of his friends to start writing and submit their own stories too. He’s already working on another one to share!
It’s clear how much care and enthusiasm the team puts into creating opportunities for children. Communication was warm and efficient, and the whole process felt personal and encouraging.
Thank you for making it such a positive experience for young readers and writers.

I was recently informed that my granddaughter’s National Geographic magazine had been returned due to a mistake at the local post office. The wonderful National Geographic team contacted me to check whether we had moved, and when I reached out to them, they were so incredibly kind and helpful. It was an absolute joy dealing with them.
I received a lovely letter letting me know they were sending little Alice’s missing magazine back out. Such thoughtful and caring people. Thank you so much, Jade, and your wonderful team.
I highly recommend the children’s National Geographic magazine. My 8-year-old absolutely loves it and happily shares it with her 6-year-old sister. It brings them both so much joy and learning.

Terrible charging system, took your money right from the start of the year and does not half refund even though you changed your mind and do not want the 2nd half of the year, telling them 5 months in advance.

Would not recommend. I was overcharged, provided evidence, and they still refused to admit the issue or return the extra payment. Feels like they just want to keep customers’ money.

Nat Geo kids magazines have been a huge hit in our house for coming up to a year now. Every month it captures my child's interest and keeps him busy for hours at a time! Highly recommended.

I have bought National Geographic for both of my grandchildren age 7 and 5 and they love it! Either reading themselves or being read to by parents. They are fascinated by the content and look forward to the next magazine coming through the door!
