Unfair Double Ban and No Notice During Twitch Drop Event

I am writing this review to report an extremely unfair and deceptive experience with NCSOFT regarding their handling of Twitch Drop events in Blade & Soul NEO.
On September 12, 2025, my account was banned for alleged “Twitch Drop exploitation.” After the following maintenance, the ban was lifted, and I was able to log in and play normally again. Believing the issue was resolved, I continued to play and even spent additional money on the game between September 16 and October 1.
However, on October 1, 2025, my account was banned again for the same reason, with no prior warning or communication. During this time, NCSOFT made no official announcement indicating that the issue was still unresolved or that accounts might be banned again. Moreover, the Twitch Drop event never stated that rewards could only be claimed once, which makes the “exploitation” claim unclear and misleading.
I submitted a support ticket (#36260622) to address this issue, but it was closed without any reply or resolution. This second ban — after the company allowed me to return, invest time, and spend money — caused significant financial and time loss.
It is unacceptable for a company to unban accounts, allow further spending, and then ban those same accounts again for the same issue without any notice. Such practices feel deceptive and unethical. I request that NCSOFT review my case, provide a clear explanation, and offer compensation or a proper resolution for the losses caused by their actions.

Worst Customer Support ever, they dont care about nothing else then taking your money and not being respsonsible for thing. Toxic and criminal behavior is supported by their ignorance and greed.

Scam company

They killed all the games they got.They basicly in the past 15 years,took games and killed them by making them pay to win,and after that ,when the people are tired of puting money in the game,they close the game...

Customer service is nonexistent

Customer service is nonexistent. Even when you submit a ticket there is no option to change or appeal anything, they are correct even when they are wrong. There is no real new content. There are no active GMs and the GMs that monitor the Discord are ineffective, they will not answer any questions directly. They will gouge you for "events". There is nothing good about the game and unless you have been playing for years it will cost you over $100k to be competitive.

These guys are the worst ever, they take the people’s money and they don’t refund them. i have no idea what this company is, google ncsoft charges and you will see how many people they get scammed and they took a of their money. Of course the company does not give a sh… i am surprised they still exist after so many frauds.

Absolute Worse

They let scamming go on and I am pretty sure they are in it too. Support non existant. Automatic copy paste messages are being sent. They are just interested in getting your money. Never play any of their games.

recived a fraudaulent transaction for…

recived a fraudaulent transaction for 900 euros. first time i heard from this company. had to block the card immediately and opened a dispute. wonder how this company could have accessed the card info.

update: they were able to use the card through the saved information from google payments. after the card was blocked, they immediately sent an email which is from google that there was an issue with the said card. thats how i found out. lesson learned, remove all card info or any form of source of payment from google because they can hack it and can be used for fraud.

Fraud

I have never played a game developed by this company nor have I downloaded one. They took £379 (c $400) out of my account. They tried taking out over £700
The fraud support was MIA. They claimed several days later to have sent emails that were not sent and wanted information regarding my banking account that had nothing to do with the issue! They repeatedly directed me to Google support who had no records of the transactions.
NCSOFT did not help or even appear to want to help address this fraud.

Disgraceful

Worst customer service experience I've ever had in my long career as a gamer. I was asking for help logging back into my account that was locked after I had to reset the password. The reply I got roughly translates to "Won't help you. Won't respond to further enquiries". That's it, no explanation, no reason, no help...nothing. Truely disgraceful

Old fan of Lineage 2

Let's see now if the developers remember what Lineage 2 was in the beginning. Do you remember the times (even better then in Lineage 2 classic) when every signle class was needed to develop a strong clan, and that brought people together in the clan and made the game interesting. Why did you change the drop list and ruin the dwarf professions? Why did you give to support classes skills and made their original concept meaningless? Why, instead of just adding zones to Aden, you had to foolishly remove the already existing ones?
Lineage 2 Remastered will only have back the same success if you return the original design of the game, remove the targeting system (it's better to blast skills and try to reach the opennent, rather then blast and count on the targeting system to the the job. With target system it's not really the player that plays but the system behind), add the ability to jump, evade, dash and move using the keyboard (click to move is old and poor and rel
ay as well to the stupid targeting system)....

Support non humain

Bonjour,

J'ai voulu récupérer un compte datant de quelques années car j'ai souhaité revenir sur Blade and Soul. On me demande des informations de paiements que cela soit carte bleue ou paypal. Je leur explique que je ne peux pas car j'ai fermer mes comptes à cause d'un harceleur qui arrivait à me voler de l'argent.

Ils me demandent alors les adresses postaux où j'ai vécu.

Je donne une loooonnngue liste des adresses où j'ai pu vivre et cela ne fonctionne pas, je leur dis qu'avec le temps, la mémoire peut être défaillante et si je pouvais avoir un indice, je leur ai même donner ma carte d'identité.

Le support n'a rien voulu savoir et m'ont gentiment dit :

Sachez que toute tentative de nous recontacter à ce sujet sans nous fournir les informations demandées sera ignorée.

Alors que j'ai demandé de l'aide ! Je suis HUMAINE, je ne peux pas tout me rappeler dans ma vie, je leur ai dis que j'étais prête à faire tout mon possible et j'ai demandé au moins le pays ( car j'ai vécu dans deux pays avec une longue liste de lieu) et ils ne veulent pas me le dire. J'ai dis que je pouvais montrer ma tête, avec un papier ncsoft, marqué les adresses mails, montrant ma bonne volonté

j'ai été envoyé juste à la m*rde, finalement énervée, j'ai clairement dit que l'adresse peut être bidon ( j'étais jeune à cette époque) mais par contre, ils ont été bien heureux de prendre mes sous par contre, une aide HUMAINE, tu peux aller te faire voir !

Mir wurde nach 1,5 Jahren Zeit, liebe und Geld mein Account endgültig gesperrt ohne nachvollziehbare Begründung. Angeblich wegen direkten oder indirekten Zusammenhang mit böswilligen und betrügerischem Verhalten... aber das ist so absoluter quatsch... ich wollte einfach nur spielen mit meinen Freunden und habe mir nichts zu schulden kommen lassen. Leute nehmt euch in Acht, hoffe ich war ein Einzellfall, aber das kann ich mir kaum vorstellen.... hätte ich das vorher gewusst dann hätte ich nicht so viel zeit und Geld reingesteckt. Ich fühle mich von NC soft betrogen und werde in Zukunft sämtliche Spiele von NC boykottieren. Hoffe es gibt so etwas wie Karma und hoffe euer mieses Verhalten fällt auf euch zurück.
