My husband I I visited Nomad in Manchester after I saw a posting on Instagram by Levinson Wood, the explorer recommended them. I am going on a photographic expedition with him and Leica camera to Morocco in March but my husband and I are off to India in February.
We have been to India many times before and nobody has ever recommended having rabies vaccines to us .
I read about the poor lady who died from Rabies from a tiny puppy scratch while on holiday in Morocco in 2025 I realised it was important to be vaccinated.
After doing some research we saw that 36% of rabies cars are in India so we both decided to have the vaccine.
We went to Nomad in Manchester and saw the specialist nurse Anna.
She was really helpful and reassuring as well as being delightful.
We go back for our final vaccination in two weeks a week before we depart for India.
I highly recommend Nomad. The service and care are exceptional

Nurse Anna is absolutely amazing! She’s extremely helpful, explains all recommended vaccines clearly, and is fantastic at her job :) I would definitely recommend this clinic for travel vaccines

Amazing Service Claire in the Cardiff Office 👍👍
Claire in the Cardiff Office was absolutely great. We had left it until the last moment to organise jabs, and both had health issues. Her practical approach, and willingness to fit me in for last minute appointments whilst foregoing lunch meant I am now looking forward to my holiday !! Thank you Claire.

Expert travel health advice
I used this service again this year and was happy to see the same adviser. Navigating travel advice can be complex when you travel off the beaten track, and with a pre-existing medical condition too. Nomad have no toilet
It bad to know Nomad had no toilet for customers to use in any of its locations.
It's even worse know Nomad is very busy making money and can't be bothered to pay a cleaner even twice a week, to make sure satisfaction is guaranteed

Gentle and thorough nurse
The nurse, Hannah, was very helpful. She advised me what injections to have for Malaysia at this time of year and was very gentle. No bruising or particular pain. Thanks, Hannah.

Very friendly service, patience with the travel itinerary and then a carful review if the vaccination requirements by country. A very professional service and great experience. Hardly knew I had been given the injection :-)

Nomad - we’ll be back
Nomad made is so easy - swift appointment setting, cheerful, charming and professional staff, record checking for our history of inoculations so we didn’t double up where it wasn’t necessary, painless jabs, nothing was too much effort, never felt rushed. Would recommend Nomad to anyone.
