Cons: Low to no stock on most things and under staffed.
Pros: staff is nice and can order stuff in fairly quick

The guys are all very pleasant. The suppliers that they buy from seem to be a problem. Either stock is low or one has to order, often causing long delays.

A big thanks to manager Chris Johanson and staff ( Brian, Blair , Wendy and Scott ) for the extra effort getting our supplies out on time. Chris has been running around town gathering supplies to make sure our orders are complete and on time. Awesome Service Guys and Gals !!!!

You closed the store, no notice, no alternate just bam gone. Not good, you will never earn back the trust lost in that moment.

I always get the best service from NIS in Prince Rupert, as well as service over the phone for any questions. What they don't have in stock they get it for me quickly and the orders are always accurate. Their prices are also very competitive. If you don't use NIS now, considerate it.

Problems since the Covid closure, not enough available staff to take / process orders. Simple orders taking 4-5 days to fill, excessive backorders. Busy branches with same staffing levels as slow branches, PPE hoarded back east.
Going with other vendors to ensure our jobs are going out on time, Can't rely on the NIS products to arrive on time.

Ineffective management has resulted in long waits for product zero support for local communities and staff and pricing that is way out of line with competitors. have switched to Acklands and have zero issues since

I comparatively shopped, they had the best product in the compressor size category I required. they had it in stock and they tweaked the price to close the deal for me ! quality prompt phone service, from Tony Ball and efficiency from Edmonton staff at time of pick up load out great job guys

Sales rep was friendly, efficient, prompt.

Too long a wait for simple stocked items of the shelve. no call on receiving b/o's that have arrived. staff seems like not interested in customer service.
