I booked and pre paid 2 taxis to take elderly friends of my mum to her funeral. On arrival they were charged and had to pay leaving them flustered and upset as I'd told them all was paid for.
I then had to speak to Nottingham Cars 10 minutes after walking out my own mums funeral when I should have been thanking attendees. I had to switch my phone back on, log into my bank and tell them when I'd paid (even though they'd emailed a receipt). They called me 5 minutes later to ask for more card details.
My friends were horrified what I was having to do. I emailed afterwards but didn't even get an apology which was 100% required under such circumstances.
I've ensured the funeral director doesn't recommend them to anyone again!

They are always late. And the customer service is horrible. They are incredibly rude. Once they put a phone down on me.

Called ay 5pm told 20 mins..called 3 times n told 10 mins every time. Had texts to say driver dispateched 40 kind ago so waited outside with my walking stick. Only to call 55 mins after 1st call and told that a driver will be dispatched shortly....being disabled doesnt trump long fares but a bit of honesty wouldnt go amis and would havr literally saved me a lit of pain as id have at least hsd the option to try elsewhere.

Took my money but taxi never came despite me informing them i needed a taxi due to a broken leg, i was in severe pain but the taxi never came, terrible company avoid at all costs.

Driver accepted request via app,then searched for another driver,eventually cancelled ,so Uber benefit.Happy to pay for a car that actually arrives.

I booked a taxi at 8am. He turned up at 8.30am. If you can’t pick up when booking then don’t make the booking! I ended up an hour late for my appointment. This really is not acceptable

Didn't turn up when promised. Then said 2 mins when phoned it was more like 10 mins late 4 work

We booked a taxi for the airport. Driver arrived late, without explanation or even apologies. We were worried that we will be late and the driver made an inconvenant comment “Don’t worry, you have a plenty of time”! The lack of courtesy and empathy was appalling. Really unimpressed.

Absolutely rubbish never using them again every time i book for the school rin I book half hour early and when I ring 5 minutes before school starts and they tell me there still trying to get a car TO ME what a s*t taxi service and its everytime so I will not be using them again

I prebooked a taxi on Thursday evening for Monday morning.

7 minutes before the taxi was due I had a cancellation message.

Of course by that time I couldn't get another taxi unless I was prepared to wait 30 minutes. As a result I was late on the first day of a new job.

Why offer a booking system if you are just going to cancel?

I won't be using this company again and I wish I had read the reviews before booking.

You are literally paid to get on time somewhere and you are SO late.

Used this company foe a 20 min ride . Lost my phone in the car and when I called to let the driver know the cheeky people dem said they will charge to bring bk ...... then rude operator asking where to bring bk to like he wasn't already just told . Thought your job is to remember addresses . 1st and last time will ever use this company ... central all day for me

Ordered 5 seater 9hrs before needed, said it may be up to 15 min late, no problem I said, 4 seater turned up 30 mins late, no explanation no 5 seater available,had to get two taxis, not be using this firm again, waste of my time and effort use another reliable firm not this one.

We booked with this taxi firm to take us to East Midlands Airport. An early morning flight and all went well.
Gave them flight number for our return a fortnight later and they didn’t turn up.
I phoned “ my cars “ from the airport and they were apologetic having lost my details.
I phoned UBER who turned up in 4 minutes very efficient.
Needless to say I will not use “ My Cars “ again.

I've used Mr Khan & his families taxi firm for decades with never a negative experience. A ⅓ cheaper than Uber & ½ the cost of DG. Whenever I book I'm notified instantly that my cab has been booked then usually a few mins later it arrives, very occasionally I've had to wait a fair while but normally it's rush hour, very late at night or there's been a big accident but always I've had an explanation & apology. So shocked to see so many negative reviews. Used them today & last week while in hospital had to nip home for my wallet, clean clothes, toiletries...so caring, wished me well do you need a hand back to the ward with you things. To be honest the same kind of service that I've always had.

Very poor service I booked today for school, driver rung me that I am outside it took me 30 seconds to come out but no one was there, when I ring operator he said he was there waiting for you and he left then he ring you, what an excuse in reality no one was there.
Not going to use them again.

Useless company and the reason why Uber is as successful as it is. Pre book a taxi for it to turn up 45 minutes late causing me to miss my train

Useless company. 15 mins waiting to be picked up for a journey which should take 15 mins. Not the brightest staff, no apologies over the phone. Stick to uber.

Recently got a cab back to a hotel in Nottingham with my partner your driver wanted to know if we’d had a lovely evening etc when pulling up at the hotel he said although you have your husband with you I’ll wait to see you go in the hotel to make sure you got in ok (as they lock the doors with keycard entrance after 11pm) he added even if it was a woman on her own he’d do the same thing
