I have now purchased two items from OneDayOnly, and both arrived damaged or defective, which is completely unacceptable.

Order #7526068 – Orman TV Stand (R12,999.00):
The drawers arrived broken. Rather than going through the hassle of returns for an item that should never have left the warehouse in that condition, I had to drill and repair them myself.

Order #8228297 – GTZ Self-Balancing Hoverboard:
This was bought as a Christmas gift for my 5-year-old son. When he opened it, the hoverboard did not turn on at all. His Christmas excitement turned into disappointment instantly. STILL WAITING FOR A RESONSE HERE AS I WANT A REFUND!!

Two consecutive orders with serious issues points to poor quality control and a disregard for customers. Selling damaged or faulty goods—especially at premium prices—is unacceptable. This has completely eroded my trust in OneDayOnly, and I will be extremely hesitant to purchase from them again.

I ordered a case of wine on the 25th November 2025 and after noticing that the tracking (from Fastway) details noted it had been shipped and delivered, I raised a query with customer service on the 12th of December.

I was told to be patient as they need confirmation from their logistics provider.

After following up on the 15th and the 16th I received a similar response as on the 17th of December .. to be patient !

It is now the 22nd of December with no progress - despite following up - no refund, no delivery !

They don’t seem to care ..

It has been a month since I placed an order and still have not received it.

The frustration lies in the fact they dont have any phone numbers to contact and force you through an email ticket platform, which is a lot easier for them to hide behind.

I am on my 3rd ticket logged with them have received radio silence.

Most of their products are falsely advertised and when you return it, they take a R100 collection fee. Also, worst service I've ever received regarding something that is not what I ordered. They tried redelivering it 2 times after saying "It's in perfect condition" and refused to actually check the fact that it's not the same product advertised. This app is basically a scam.

I purchased chair from One-Day-Only, after about a week and a half, it arrived. The problem was, it looked absolutely nothing like what it did in the pictures. When asking for a return, aI have since heard nothing. They don't respond to e-mails to their Customer Care Line, nor do they actually send a driver out to collect the misrepresented goods.

You're left in the dark, with something you didn't want to buy. This is a lucky packet. Maybe you get what you order, maybe you don't - but if you don't, or it's faulty, say goodbye to any support, refunds, replacements or warranty's.

Be warned.

This is a Ponzi scheme company, they take your money and don't provide the items ! Don't trust them , they end up not fulfilling the item after almost a month.. worse customer service ever! DONT USE THEM, rather buy from @shoptemu Takealot @AskOneDayOnly

Terrible service, I ordered chairs that needed to be assembled, when receiving them there was only 2 sets of legs instead of 4. Been trying to contact and resolve this for a week and get very minimal - Zero communication back from them. I will definitely think twice before ordering here again.

We bought Actonlight solar powered, they are so not effective and its 200watts, we are very disappointed about the lights and unfortunately we are told we cannot return the since it is after 7 days so very disappointed on way the issue is handled.

I have bought 4 solar lights IP76 200 and 150 watts & used one and I am realising that they are of a poor quality and I bought 100 years back and realised it's better than this latest one. We work and after delivery it's highly impossible to install right now....now they tell me I can't return but they are inside original packaging and never been opened. They can go into my account and see yesterday's the 25 Nov I bought 300 watts and 500 from a different suppliers. Change your policy especially if items were not opened. I don't want to buy anything that doesn't give me joy ... quality is what U buy and price is what U pay ....so I am not returning the one I used but the 3 I didn't use. The again gives me grey hair and blocking from escalating the Matter...send pictures....One day deal U are not treating us good. Order no 7969827

I've bought several items over the past months and am extremely happy with the quality of products I received at that amazing price. Delivery has been a bit slower on one occasion - but that is ok for that price. Love the platform.

OneDayOnly.co.za why do you not have customer service. Your brand has become Temu.ZA I demand somebody call me and resolve my issue. You have both my money and the returned, defective product. This is Ludacris

R7000 product discounted to R2500... it was actually a R2300 product marked up to R2500.

What terrible business tactics to inflate a product price, advertise as a more expensive product and then deliver a cheap, garbage product

I got a great deal on some Reposado Tequila that I thoroughly enjoyed with friends, wish the deals lasted a bit longer.

They inflate retail prices to drive sales. You will never support them if you knew about they dodgy tricks. From suppliers only inflating prices for 24h to show a higher saving to selling cheap **** at a massive markup and then when customer realise it was a misleading advertisement they don’t want to provide a refund. They have been fined multiple times for retail inflation.

What should have been a straightforward product replacement has turned into a drawn-out, exhausting two-month ordeal filled with delays, miscommunication, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Despite repeated assurances, I’ve now received the same faulty unit twice.
Let that sink in — not once, but twice I was sent back the exact same broken item.
It’s still not working.
The communication has been unacceptably slow, requiring me to follow up constantly just to receive vague or recycled updates.
The level of service from the team has been careless at best and dismissive at worst.
Moreover, the courier company you using is entirely unprofessional.
They don’t provide any prior notice, no time window, nothing — they simply show up unannounced at your doorstep and expect you to be there.
Sending a WhatsApp "we here respond asap" if you don't they leave.
That level of disregard for your customers’ time is absolutely shocking.

People deserve to know what they’re in for .

Constant email spam - no way to cancel, unsubscribe links dont work.

Consistently low quality, cheap products sold. Have returned a number of items that are wrong sized, non-functioning, or different from the item presented on the website. Shipping costs are not refunded, and items must be taken to a depot 20km away. The "current retail" values are often exaggerated to make the "savings" look bigger. Do your research.

Ordered a pair of Bose headphones from one day only, I received a set thats seal was broken, the sticker with a barcode on the back even acknowledged that it was an open box. The headphones had a lot of hair and dandruff in the earmuffs. Even the case that the headphones come with was full of dandruff and hair. Flippen gross. Obviously I expected a set of headphones and was looking forward to receiving them in a good condition and at a good price, but I suppose that on one day only, you pay for the discounts in other ways. At least they are refunding me.
