I had to cease continuing my testosterone 'journey' after receiving my first 2 blood tests due to ill health.

I contacted Mark to see if eligible to continue and arrange consultation after explaining my situation.

He replied immediately and on the same day had booked consultation, assured everything good to go and was extremely pleasant to speak to.

Before, after speaking to a couple of other members of staff when getting my initial bloods done, I couldn't believe how excellent the customer service was with them too.

Overall, I highly recommend Optimale to anyone thinking of trying out TRT.

I have yet to get that far myself still but I trust I will be in very safe, professional hands given the great customer service I have received thus far.

I had previously been with Optimale last year but had to cease for personal reason.

I was in a position to seek support with TRT again and got in touch. The onboarding was really good, they even helped with the analytical blood test and then a consultation was arranged. Due to illness a GP was not available on the day but a quick call and Mark said he would get back to me with a resolution. He soon called back and had rearranged my consultation for the same day, which was really appreciated and the consultation went ahead.

All sorted and I’m back in the game

Optimale are really professional with me. They keep me up to date on when I need to have blood tests, doctor follow ups, and always respond quickly to any queries I send by email.

The doctors are really helpful, understanding, and explain everything in detail. Delivery of medication is quick too, with subscription/medication costs much better than I paid elsewhere previously.

I feel in safe hands.

My cognitive function, memory, sleep and general happiness has improved sooo much since getting my hormones in balance again.

Spent a year with Optimale now part of Manual, the service is really poor missed injections as nobody processed my prescriptions to send out new vials, Dr support is minimum I think the company is chasing money now over quality service which is a shame. I have decided to leave and go elsewhere for my my TRT now.

Started my treatment plan and was really impressed with the service initially during the consultation. Once I signed up to the subscription service the level of support really dropped off. All customer support is directed through email and getting a response is impossible. Initial prescription was sent incorrectly and took over a week to speak to someone to resolve. First blood test after 6 weeks came back with low levels and had to chase constantly for update on Doctor reviewing this. Once you have signed up getting support is so difficult.

My most recent experience was a 6 month check as part of on going treatment.

Dr Gwatsha still shows the same level of detail and care as they did at my first appointment.

Great services, quality products, but very expensive

I’ve been a customer of Optimale for over four years. Barring a few hiccups, the service has generally been good, with responses usually quick and efficient.

However, my recent experience has been very different.
I placed a reorder, but Royal Mail notified me that the parcel was being returned because the address hadn’t been filled in correctly. I emailed Optimale straight away—presuming they’d already been notified as the sender—but wanted to make sure.

After 48 hours with no reply, I emailed again as I was running low on supplies, but still heard nothing. More emails followed with no reply. I then tried calling the office, waited on hold for ten minutes without an answer, and finally sent a fourth email titled “Is anyone reading these mails?”.

Only at that point did I finally receive a response apologising, confirming the address was wrong, and offering a small credit to my account.
However to add insult to injury an hour later I then received an unexpected email saying the amount due from my account was increasing next month, with no explanation given. I'm not sure if the two are related but it felt incredibly off.

I understand Optimale has recently been taken over by Manual, and looking at other recent reviews, it seems this has had a significant impact on service levels.
Given that I pay for a monthly subscription and a premium product, I would at least expect basic customer service to be in place.

I’m now looking at other companies that offer a less stressful and more reliable service and would suggest avoiding Optimale until they get their act together.

Edit - I was not asked to update this however Sian has been great and has resolved the issue, however it should not have happened in the first place however Sian again went above and beyond to keep me as a patient/customer. I don't know what has happened to this company but I am cancelling! The fact I have been chasing for 2 days and I see replies on here is disgusting!

I have been a patient for well over a year and at first it was perfect no issues, since around March/April the time it takes for the team to reply to you is awful! If you don't call expect a reply in 7 days! Then I'm hounded for a blood test to which has been sent back, which the lab have received and I'm being ignored!

I am sick to death of chasing, 3/4 emails and have to complain before I get a reply!

To now come on here and see people's reviews being answered when I sent an email 72 hours ago is disgusting and I am looking to leave at his provider asap! I have had missing medication, delivery issues and now it takes 7 days to get a reply via email, SICK OF IT

I was disappointed that Optimale lost my recent medical questionnaire. But they did apologise. Shame I lost time doing it. Maybe there should be a way to save questionnaire inputs, so customers could reuse details they'd input, if a questionnaire is lost. Did seem strange that a modern computer system, and an established company lost a medical questionnaire. Especially as the information is confidential.

Optimale/Manual are the worst TRT clinic alive, customer support is laughable, overpriced and the doctors don't really know much when compared to a legit TRT specialist

UPDATE - Despite responding to my review below stating this would be dealt with - I have responded with the additional info requested and......nothing, no replies to email - ABSOLUTELY ZERO DIRECT CONTACT FROM OPTIMALE.

If this is the type of service to be expected then i will be cancelling my subscription ASAP.

Treatment with Optimale has been good, but communications are at times terrible. I have been trying to contact someone as it has been over a week since i raised a prescription request, however no response, not even an acknowledgement, to the three emails i have since sent. They usually despatch next day and delivery the following day, but currently feel ignored. Just paid £100 for venous draw and test, then another £100 for the months treatment, but i have nothing ti use for treatment - this needs sorting out urgently!
