I passed my driving test on 30/03/2026 thanks to my instructor Umar. Before this, I had been told I wasn’t test ready and was even advised to postpone or consider medication for nerves, which really affected my confidence.

Umar assessed me properly and focused on what actually matters for the test. He was strict on my weaknesses and made me repeat manoeuvres until I was confident and consistent. His teaching was clear, structured, and very supportive.

Because of this, I felt genuinely prepared on the day and passed.

I highly recommend Oxford Driving School for your lessons!

My instructor Sayed Mullick was incredibly helpful - I started out scared to even get in a car and now I have passed my driving test with 2 minors. Thank you again Sayed for everything!

My driving instructor Ali was brilliant. He was professional, knowledgeable and effective. He efficiently responded to my requests and was very good at helping me prepare for my practical exam. He was also good company when learning to drive. Highly recommend him!

Tee is a professional driving instructor. He is not only point out my mistakes and also explains the reason behind. It made me easily understand and helps me don't make the same mistake again. For teaching some difficult subjects such as roundabouts, he will go through the theory first and he will do the demonstration. It goods for me easily to catch up and it would more safe for the learners.
Besides, Tee also is an experienced instructor, he seems can read my mind. So he can correct my mistakes immediately or before the error happens.
I found Tee is very love and enjoy his work. He was very satisfied with teaching a person from not knowing how to drive to pass the driving test. He is a nice man, you don’t feel stress in his lesson. Under his guidance and my hardworking, I passed the driving test in the first attempt.

My instructor Sayed Mullick is very good at driving teaching!
He has made many corrections to my old and wrong driving habits like 6 point check from the start, signaling at the right time and position, back window checking, crossroads checking, roundabouts lane checking and selection, parking in your comfortable way, etc.
And during the practice he always gives a lot of encouragement.
Very helpful.
So I just passed the practice test this morning.

Passed my test today with only 2 minors!! Thank you to Mr Mohamad Amin Azizi From LDA - He’s such an amazing instructor understood me as a student was super friendly very informative and direct and amazing on how he teaches from what I have seen and felt personally… I started learning to drive from scratch 2months ago and he taught me everything I needed to know and learn behind the wheel.. Was very good at it!! I’m a big dude but a massive overthinker he was soo good at reassuring me I have the ability and to be confident in my ability.. If any of you see this and get the pleasure of having Mr Amin Azizi as a instructor you’re very lucky and You will 100% improve in the hands of Mr Amin - Again thank you for everything Mr Mohamad Amin Azizi I can’t believe it 🎉🤣

I had Mb Dirin for my driving lessons. He is a brilliant teacher and very supportive. Really helped me become more confident and improve. Also passed first time!!

LDA in Oxford, especially my driving instructor Ali, offered the best possible experience (after comparing and hearing stories about other places/people). He tailors the teaching content to each pupil, and has a very professional and systematic plan to prepare the pupil for practical tests. At the personal level, he is a friendly, considerate and understanding person and you will actually get to enjoy driving with his companionship. I wholeheartedly recommend him and am thankful for his help!

Really helpful, didn’t take me many lessons at all and passed first time. Prices are cheap and affordable. My instructor Sayeed Mullick was very polite and very helpful in the period I had my lessons with him. Would fully recommend looking into lesson with the LDA.

Passed my exam in my first trial, with only 7 lessons. I have driving licence from another country and Umar made my life much easier with his instructions and warnings tailored to my driving skills. We covered every missing bits and through repetition made my driving align to British rules. I recommend everyone and particularly to the drivers with experience to correct their mistakes.

Highly recommended! Every lesson with Umar was an excellent experience, each building on the previous lesson and boosting my confidence. Umar's years of experience were very apparent. He was always able to provide clear advice to improve my driving and answer any questions I had. Umar provided invaluable guidance for booking and taking the theory and practical tests, encouraging me to take these sooner than I would have thought possible when I started learning to drive. I passed both the theory and practical tests at my first attempt thanks to the fantastic tuition.

I am very happy to recommend Oxford driving school for the automatic driving class especially Omer , he is a polite person helped me lots to acheive my dream .

We moved to the UK from abroad and both my wife and I had to retake our driving test after 20 years of accident-free driving. Despite our driving experience, Umar and Oxford Driving School were able to show us ways to become even safer drivers and especially explain to us the intricacies of UK roundabouts. His help was essential for us to pass our tests!

I would highly recommend ODS, especially Umar. My previous instructor stopped working due to personal reasons 4 weeks before my driving test which left me no choice but to find another driving school and instructor. Luckily, Umar came to the rescue and helped me massively. He was so patient and explained things thoroughly and ensured I, as the student understood. This then enabled me to pass my driving test first time. I would highly recommend ODS for driving lessons. Umar goes above and beyond for his students.

I would definitely recommend Oxford Driving School especially my driving instructor Umar without any doubt at all! My previous instructor left the country during lockdown and left me with no choice but to find someone else as my driving test was due in a few weeks. In hindsight, I am thankful he left because then I found ODS! From the first time I enquired to scheduling my lessons, everything was smooth sailing and Umar was very kind to accommodate me and even dropped me off and picked me up at my workplace to save time! Umar was the most amazing, punctual, patient, funniest and reassuring guy ever! He was always calm and truly a very experienced teacher. He was very thorough, taught me acronyms and phrases for me to remember observations and manoeuvres easily and always asked me if I had any questions or clarifications. It was a fantastic experience working and learning from my instructor. Umar is an experienced instructor who helped me a lot. Following his instructions, I was able to pass the test on my first attempt. Great attention to detail. He was able to see areas I was struggling with even without me telling him and then work towards improving those areas. I highly recommend him and this school for any new drivers.
