Good product, let down by poor customer service.
The product offering is good, and seems reasonable value for money. However, customer service in my case was very poor, which seems to be down to the 'warehouse' being completely separate to the customer-facing end. I struggled to get information before, during and after delivery, and was told once bluntly in response to me requesting information 'by the end of the week' on how they could fix a fault, that I would have to 'await their [workshop] advice'. Two months later it still hadn't arrived.
In the end I wrote to the MD. I didn't get a response directly which again was poor, although it did result in customer service sending me an email.
The end result was that a couple of service guys came to fix it. It's better but still not really right.
Even after that there was no follow-up to check whether I was happy.
Finally, there is no contact route that doesn't take you through to the same customer service team. No complaints mechanism, no escalation, and no email for senior people. I had to put pen to paper and it's possible that the MD never saw my letter.
This is a pity - the product itself is good.

I love my tv unit
I love my tv unit. I searched the Internet to find it as all of the ones I had seen were wider than I wanted. It did take a while to arrive but I was kept informed throughout the process. Delivery went well and the item was placed in my room exactly where I wanted. The quality is excellent as is the service. I will but from this company again.

Great quality and brilliant customer service
Great company to deal with from start to finish. Good old fashioned customer service. Everyone involved was lovely. A special mention for the lady in the store who helped us with our choices. We purchased a media wall unit and we were very happy with both the quality and the price. Added bonus that we are supporting a british company.

We ordered two bookcases and a 2 door…
We ordered two bookcases and a 2 door sideboard in the Amberley range, opting to have bespoke sizes made for 2 of the items in order to fit in the spaces we had available. We were able to choose stronger materials for the shelves in one of the bookcases to support lots of heavy books. The team at the Painted furniture company were extremely helpful in designing our items from our simple drawing.The quality of the items is excellent, painted finish is flawless. Very happy indeed! The delivery team were brilliant, taking care to protect the furniture on the way in to our house; putting protectors under each item so floors don’t get marked and leaving spare matching paint and door handle just in case ! They even covered our gate posts! Excellent company to deal with. Took slightly longer than 8 weeks we had hoped for but they were very busy and kept us informed.

Mixed experience
Good pre-order customer service 're sending samples and ordering. When my items were eventually delivered, very good quality.
However, the delivery experience was poor. Gave a date when I was not available, but of course I was sent that precise date to deliver. The Warehouse delivery people did not respond to emails or phone calls to reschedule. The customer service team sorted it out but it was weeks later.
The delivery men were very good on the day.
