Partzilla, Keep Up the Great Work!

Partzilla came through for me on my current project. They almost always have the parts that I am looking for to put my decades old bikes back together and the prices are very competitive.

Good experience

The on-line catalog part description was great and I got exactly what I needed. Delivery was prompt and price was reasonable. All in all a good experience.

Dishonesty never wins customers

After spending several hours looking for brake parts I decided to order from Partzilla. They had 3 of the 4 parts I needed at the best price. I placed my order. Several hours later I get an updated invoice showing the 2 cheapest parts had been cancelled even though their website showed them in stock. I was never notified the parts were not in stock and asked if I wanted the last most expensive part shipped. After some back and forth I was told they would see if I could get the shipping cost refunded. Still waiting for that confirmation. On a whim I decided to go back and check on the parts that were cancelled. Still showing in stock but guess what? Listed at an higher price then what I had paid. Stay away from this shady company!!!!!!!
PS. RECEIVED MY SHIPPING REFUND. WAS TOLD THAT IF A PART SAYS WILL SHIP IN 1 TO 2 DAYS THAT MEANS ITS OUT OF STOCK. REALLY? IF THAT'S THE CASE IT SHOULD SAY OUT OF SROCK INSTEAD OF LETTING YOU ADD IT TO THE CART AND PAY FOR IT. ALSO IF THE PARTS ARE OUT OF STOCK WHY WERE THE PRICES UPPED ON SAID PARTS AFTER MY ORDER WAS CANCELLED?

On our website, items marked as “Ships in 1 to 2 days” indicate that the part is not currently in our warehouse but is typically available from the manufacturer or distributor within that timeframe. This information is also displayed again during checkout. Unfortunately, in this case, the distributor did not have the parts available when we attempted to source them, which resulted in the cancellations.

We understand how this can be confusing, and we appreciate your feedback regarding how this messaging could be clearer. Our team is always happy to assist with stock verification prior to purchase, especially for time-sensitive orders.

Regarding pricing, part prices are set by manufacturers and distributors and can change at any time, which may explain the difference you noticed after your order was placed.

It was great

It was great! was able to look up a throttle tube for my 2007 Honda cbr 1000rr. Thought it would take a minute to find, but was able to find it and order it within 5 minutes. Only took 2 days since order to get to my door step !

Good prices, if you can actually get the parts. I'd look elsewhere.

Parts are on the web site, then half the order is canceled. Missing parts back on the website, ordered then canceled, without reason. I had to call to find they were out of Stock. Very nice people on the phone, but that doesn't make up for really bad service. As for the items that did arrive, packaging, inner and outer looks as if it has been living in a homeless encampment for the past 10 years. If I hadn't been shipping to AZ, I'd use Rock Auto.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in communication. Because automobile parts are shipped directly from our vendor, inventory status is finalized at the time of processing. If a vendor cannot fulfill an item due to lack of stock, it is automatically canceled and fully refunded.
