Really clunky

Really clunky
Takes too long to login, no functionality on phone, and all of a sudden it wouldnt let me login and I lost over 200 passwords. Useless.

Hello David, we are sorry you have had the experience you described which is not normal. The login has of course to be secure which is paramount. No passwords on any account have ever been lost, there are encrypted in the account and available once securely accessed. We do have a mobile app on our dev schedule for next year. A Difficult Change

I have been with Passpack for a long time and found it very good. That was of course until I lost a lot of my passwords when I had to upgrade to the new version. I found it very hard to make the change and could not do it successfully.

Hello Peter, thank you for your feedback and sorry that you did encounter difficulties in transferring to the new Passpack V10 version. This is built on different technology to the legacy V7 platform you has been on and therefore the transfer could not be automatic. This will not be the case going forward, there will be automatic migration of all your passwords on any new versions.

I've been using this since over 10…

I've been using this since over 10 years. It's great for our need, although the pricing model recently changed an other solutions seem attractive now.
There used to be some JS to help use the credentials in the very first versions, but I understand this was a closed feature by the browsers for security reasons. Some competitors have browser Add-Ons that could be useful, but I haven't tried them.
A few bugs reported to Passpack have never made it to a fix, so here is at least one : when using a Yubikey to login, you should wait patiently and refrain from typing the Enter key, as the Yubikey already has sent one. Doubling the Enter key leads you in a frustrating nowhere. I have to tell all my employees who otherwise complain that Passpack doesn't work. Converting to a more standard use of Yubikey for 2FA would also be a neat evolution, but I must say support for Yubikey was a deal winner for Passpack at the time.

We have seen a non security bug with the Yubikey, which is being resolved. We have none logged but if you are aware of other functional issues please let us know at support@passpack.com. If there are any they will be immediately handled.

Other than paying for what was once…

Other than paying for what was once free, the transition seems seamless. I only use this in it's very basic form but I can see where businesses and power users will find the new features very useful.

I have been using PASSPACK Free for several years and found it great. When PASSPACK paid program was released, I have been immediately ok to pay to keep my PASSPACK. I would recommend it to anyone as it efficient and you would never loose or forget a password.

I try desperately to get support from…

I try desperately to get support from you for a PW recovery - but got zero support - nothing other then saying : it’s my responsibility to figure it out. And yet the company proudly takes my money!! So if I do not get support to retrieve the pw or help setting a new one up -and not losing my passwords from the version 7 - then I will cancel my membership immediately

Hello Wolf, there must be a misunderstanding here, your last message to our customer support team was on June 13th and we replied on June 13th. As there was no further communication we believed the issue had been resolved. Noting that we clearly communicate the importance of safely retaining your encryption key which is fundamental to the product security. The customer support team will of course follow up and do all we can to help if it is at all possible.

I had used the free version for…

I had used the free version for numerous years. When they went to the newer version which was no longer free, I felt that a yearly cost for individuals at $18 was worth it! The support I received for conversion to the v10 was great!!

I would give it five stars if I could…

I would give it five stars if I could sort my passwords better, they aren’t in perfect order. Also, the back up is very clunky the way it comes out in the CSV file.
