Absolutely unacceptable experience.

Peak Performance refused to refund a return claiming the items were “not in mint condition” after they were only tried on indoors — which is clearly allowed under EU consumer law. Instead of handling this fairly, they denied the refund completely and then required me to pay for a return shipment myself just to get my own items back.

Customer support was rigid, unhelpful, and hid behind their terms instead of addressing the actual situation in a reasonable way.

This process dragged on for weeks with no real effort to resolve it properly.

Very disappointing service. I will not order from them again.

Katastrof när problem uppstår

Katastrof när problem uppstår.

En jacka reklamerades med dragkedja som var trasig.
Det tog 3 veckor och 3 påminnelser för dem att svara på reklamationen.

Dom godkände reklamationen! Bra nu löser det sej, behöver inte frysa mer på vintern!

Men NEJ!!! Dom vill skicka en ny dragkedja så jag kan laga jackan själv! Vilket jag inte accepterar! Spydigt svar tillbaka att dem minsann har rätt att göra så, dem begär nu in filmer på felet trots att reklamationen redan var godkänd av dem!
STOR VARNING UTFÄRDAS FÖR DENNA SKOJARBUTIK!
Kommer aldrig mer handla deras produkter med usel kvalitet och sämsta kundservice jag någonsin stött på.
Rekomenderar INTE någon att handla där

Meine Bestellung wurde nach 14 Tagen noch immer nicht geliefert. Nachfragen an den Service werden nicht beantwortet.
Nun denn, war meine erste und letzte Bestellung. Wenn ich die Bewertungen mir
anschaue, verstehe ich das Unternehmen nicht - Es soll im höherpreisigen Segment
mitgespielt werden - nur da gehört der Service nun einmal mit dazu.

Kundenservice unterirdisch

In der Hoffnung ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt zu kaufen, das lange hält (Stichwort Nachhaltigkeit) und weil mir wichtig war zertifizierte Daunen zu kaufen, habe ich mich für eine Peak Performance Winterjacke für den Preis von 600 € entschieden. Das war dumm. Obwohl ich die Jacke nicht dauernd trage, ist der Stoff so, dass er an den Stellen die durch ganz normales Trageverhalten strapaziert werden (Arm Innenseiten und Bund unten am Arm) schon bald aufgescheuert war und an diesen Stellen Daunen verliert und hell, schäbig und abgenutzt aussieht. Also habe ich den Kundenservice kontaktiert und um Reparaturmöglichkeit gebeten. Zunächst wurde ich gebeten alle möglichen Fotos und Produktnummern etc. anzugeben was ich getan habe. Nachdem mein Anliegen einmal komplett ignoriert, dann auf Nachfrage an zwei weitere Stellen weitergeleitet wurde erhielt ich die finale Auskunft, "Regarding the feathers/downs coming out from the seams, have you already tried to wash the jacket? This will help to get rid of the downs. " Originalantwort!! Ist das Satire?

What you describe regarding the fabric wear and down leakage is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have. We also understand how frustrating it must have been to go through multiple steps with our customer service and then receive a response that did not adequately address your concern. For that, we sincerely apologize.

We do ask for photos and product details to ensure we can properly evaluate each request. The product number helps us determine the age of the garment, identify any potential quality issues, and check the availability of spare fabric or replacement parts.

While the outer fabrics used in our jackets are carefully selected to balance durability and comfort, they should still withstand normal wear.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Producto no apto para el uso anunciado y garantía rechazada sin inspección



Compré online una chaqueta Helium Utility Graphic Down Hood Jacket por 230 € hace aproximadamente un mes.

El producto está anunciado como “water-repellent” y categorizado como apto para “resort skiing” y “freeride skiing”.

En el primer uso durante una actividad normal de snowboard:
• El tejido se rasgó sin existir enganche ni impacto contra objeto externo.
• La prenda permitió la penetración de agua al contactar con nieve.

La marca rechazó la garantía calificándolo como “daño autoinfligido” y argumentando que la chaqueta está diseñada para “condiciones secas”, pese a que está promocionada para actividades de esquí.

No se realizó ninguna evaluación técnica del producto antes de rechazar la reclamación.

Considero que un producto de este precio debería ser apto para el uso para el que se anuncia y tener una durabilidad mínima razonable.

Actualmente estoy tramitando reclamación formal por falta de conformidad.

Y por cierto, borran comentarios en instagram de quejas. 😅

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and that your Helium jacket did not meet your expectations.

At Peak Performance, we always aim to create garments that are durable and designed to accompany you on many outdoor adventures. The Helium range has been part of our collection for over 10 years and is specifically developed as an extremely lightweight down series. The jacket is highly packable and weighs around 300–400 grams. It is made from a lightweight, windproof ripstop fabric that also repels light rain, offering a carefully considered balance between low weight and durability.

However, due to its lightweight construction, the fabric is not indestructible. When exposed to external forces, damage such as tearing can unfortunately occur.

We understand how disappointing this is, especially when the jacket is fairly new. While we do offer spare fabric free of charge to support repairs, damage that is not caused by a material or production fault is not covered under warranty.
That said, we take your feedback seriously and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Ich habe eine Jacke bestellt und leider war diese zu groß und ab sie zurückgeschickt. Ich warte seit 3 Wochen auf eine Rückerstattung, niemand reagiert auf meine Anfragen wann ich mein Geld zurückerhalte.

All of our ski wear is made using high-performance materials such as GORE-TEX® or HIPE®, which have been extensively tested and successfully used in ski apparel for many years. These materials are designed to provide excellent breathability, water resistance, and durability. However, no technical fabric is completely indestructible. Depending on the circumstances and external forces or materials involved, damage can unfortunately occur.

We want to support you in the best possible way. We do offer a repair service and can also provide free spare parts/fabric, and we would be more than happy to look into the best possible solution for your item. Please feel free to contact our customer service team so we can assist you further.

I strongly advise against purchasing products from Peak Performance

I strongly advise against purchasing products from Peak Performance. My order was not delivered successfully, yet the company has retained my payment without issuing a refund or sending a replacement. Despite the matter remaining unresolved, I received a response stating that the case was closed, which is wholly unacceptable. Closing a case without resolution and disclaiming responsibility in this manner appears to be contrary to basic consumer rights and reflects very poorly on the company’s standards of customer care. This process of investigation also took over a month without any updates, throughout. Simply deflecting any correspondences. Based on this experience, I will not be making any future purchases from Peak Performance.

Our team always strives to follow up on every case and keep our customers informed. Unfortunately, in rare instances a case may be closed by the system or due to human error. Regarding delivery delays, most shipments affected by incorrect sorting, very high shipping volumes, or other handling issues during transport are ultimately delivered. Our main priority in such cases is to immediately start an investigation to locate the shipment and ensure it reaches you as quickly as possible. If a shipment is officially declared lost or cannot be located, we of course issue a full refund.

Ich dachte, ich gönne mir was (vermeintlich) gutes. Jacke passte leider nicht wirklich, aber dann…. Rückerstattung dauert ewig, dann stellte ich fest, das Rückporto selbst getragen werden muss. Ok! Dann kommt die Rückerstattung nach über 14 Tagen, aber es fehlen 30%. Teilrückerstattung nennt sich das. Warum? Wo sind meine restlichen 28€ geblieben? Freunde, so nicht!! Ich hoffe ihr erstickt absehbar an eurer Arroganz. Und euren Chatbot… State of the Art. Tamagotchi-Niveau!! Nie mehr

I only wish I had read trust pilot…

I only wish I had read trust pilot about Peak Performance. The company is a disgrace it professes it uses only Goretex but I have had Goretex before with Spyder and this material is 100 per cent waterproof. I used my brand new Peak Performance so called high end vertical jacket within 3 hours I was soaked to the core. If you pay top dollar you expect the best not the result you would get from a $5 poncho from your local supermarket, even a bin bag would’ve kept me drier! So buyer beware steer well clear of this cheap and nasty brand.

We’re very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your Gore-Tex set. The Gore-Tex used in some of our jackets is a high-performance, breathable, and waterproof fabric designed to protect you from wind and rain while allowing moisture from perspiration to escape.

Please note that due to updated regulations on chemical use, the performance of Gore-Tex has changed slightly in recent years.

Niet warm

Ik wilde investeren in een goed skipak, helaas is dit absoluut niet gelukt. Het Anima Insulated Jas en broek zijn beide totaal niet warm en ik voel zelfs de wind er doorheen komen. Ik heb van alles eronder aan gedaan maar het bleef koud, dus heb ik een ander skipak moeten kopen. Zeer zeer zeer teleurgesteld, zeker voor dat geld….

I ordered items before Christmas with a stated delivery date of 3-5 days. 2 weeks later I have still not received anything and the shipping info isn’t moving. Asked for a refund but they aren’t willing to do this given they need to “investigate” it.
How is that the customers’problem baffles me.

I bough a shell jacket for $750 and it feels like a cheap and thin kway rain jacket. Their customer service is bad, they do not acknowledge the web description does not accurately describe the product. This jacket was a very expensive mistake.

Shell jackets are intentionally designed to be lightweight and thin, as they are meant to be layering pieces rather than standalone heavy jackets. Their primary purpose is to provide wind and water protection while allowing you to layer insulating garments underneath, which is why they may feel lighter than traditional jackets.

Der Kundenservice ist eine absolute Katastrophe - Kauft nicht bei PeakPerformance

Da ich bezüglich der richtigen Größe nicht sicher war, habe ich habe mir den Bluebird Down Coat-AVID Beige in zwei Größen online bei Peak Performance bestellt. Die Mäntel passten beide nicht wirklich und ich habe sie beide zurückgesandt. Heute erhielt ich dann eine mail das einer der Mäntel einen Fleck habe und man daher keine Rücknahme akzeptiert. Ich habe die Mäntel lediglich daheim anprobiert und dann wieder in die Kunststoffbeutel verpackt und im Karton zurückgesandt. Ich werde nun genötigt den Mantel zurückzunehmen und zu bezahlen. Da nun Aussage gegen Aussage steht, und ich nun nicht vorhabe in Schweden eine Klage einzureichen, war das eine teure Erfahrung. Ich kann nach dieser Erfahrung nur jedem raten die Finger von Peak Performance zu lassen. Kauft Eure Produkte bei Unternehmen die einen seriösen Kundenservice bieten. Es gibt ja zum Glück genügend Wettbewerber die es können. Peak Performance, nie mehr wieder.
