Andrew Shipley was brilliant he was supportive through out the whole ideal and really did feel like I could rely on him recommend anyone go to him if you ever need help

Very poor service
Very poor service, needed a solicitor as my usual one wasn’t available for the date needed. Was assigned a junior who was very unprofessional sending me emails in the early hours of the morning (in between 12-4) charged me for him missing appointments with me and replying to emails that I had sent asking why. When asking why I had been charged for a lot of extra work that hadn’t been carried out no one got back in touch to discuss. I have been charged a large sum for a service that was poor and unprofessional

One star is being generous
One star is being generous! I have been messed about, fed lies, calls not returned, I have been led along thinking completion would happen on numerous occasions (STILL waiting) this firm are clearly not up to conveyancing. I would avoid if you would like a speedy completion - almost 8 months and still no closer to moving in to my new house!
Nothing but stress, hassle and empty promises. Next step for me is the legal ombudsman.

Recently purchased a property and used Pepperells as my solicitors. My conveyancer John Taylor was very professional, pleasant and he offered great advice at every stage. He helped me to complete in good time and he communicated effectively with all parties involved. The fees at Pepperells are extremely competitive and I would fully recommend their service.

Friendly and professional service
Richard Smith at the Beverley branch of Pepperells helped me with a claim for compensation relating to an accident at work. He was really helpful and guided me through the process in a really informed and approachable manner. I was really happy with the service and advice I received from all of the team and would highly recommend them.

Billed us after saying the initial conversation would be free
Told my partner her initial conversation would be free. They then proceeded to charge us £450 for a 45min conversation.
Consequently they will not be appointed as our solicitors for private or business services
