Poor communication from PBA
Following an invitation for an initial interview with PBA, a telephone appointment was set. Having prepared for the interview I waited by the phone at the correct time. An hour passed so I contacted the person who had arranged the interview. Only then was I informed that the interviews had been postponed due to office meetings. While I appreciate this is common in business, no update had been provided and therefore my current job had been impacted. Later, the interview was rescheduled and conducted, all going well. I was subsequently asked to complete a range of online psychometric assessments and wait for notification of the next stage which was scheduled for a few weeks time. As the date drew closer I again contacted PBA for an update, not having heard either way whether I had been shortlisted. Repeated communication attempts have since been unsuccessful. I can understand if I have been unsuccessful, but the lack of response itself has been disruptive and stressful. A simple email would suffice. This reflects poorly on PBA, even with recruitment being just one, small aspect of the company.
