Great teachers and music, but..

Great teachers and music. The classes are really good. But when there is an issue about billing or membership the problems begin. When (if) the "support team" answers, you get a lot of positive standard responses, but they don't really fix things. If the support team had the same quality as the teachers, Pianote/Musora would be perfect.. I'm done with Pianote and will spend my money somewhere else..

I Love Pianote

I was very surprised to see Pianote's poor review rating because I've been a member for just over three years and I have absolutely no complaints. I've learned soo much during that time, at my own speed and in my own home, and I've stayed motivated because of the great lessons and the great people at Pianote. Reading the comments though, I see that virtually every poor rating involves a complaint about their customer service or the app, not the lessons. Personally, I've found the customer service excellent, but then again, I haven't attempted to cancel my subscription, and I haven't had any technical problems. All I can say is, if you want to learn how to play piano, you should join up.

Pianote - Worth every penny.

Last week I took advantage of Pianote's Ninth Anniversary, bundle in which 'The Best Beginner Piano Book' and a Pianote metronome were included, with free shipping, in a year's online classes. They arrived to the UK, from the US, today. Sooooo fast.
I'd also like to mention that upon enquiring about the classes, via email, a very helpful customer service adviser called Kaycee got back to me within just a few hours with all the information I was looking for. The many, many classes are excellent, fun, enjoyable, and questions I've had, have been answered very quickly, and easy for me (a beginner) to understand. I can honestly say that Pianote is worth every penny.

app does not work

i gave a five star review last year but my exprience has change due to the app does not work and songs are no longer available on the app.

it is a shame i must write this poor review…I am hoping someone at Pianote reads this as their support staff is no help.

i have pianote for a year. I have progressed well completing many courses that are very well done. the problem from the beginning is i have major problems with the app. it constantly freezes up during videos i have to reboot my ipad . the web version works perfectly but the app does not. the app and it worked for awhile. but the problems persist. songs are only available on the web version so it is tough a computer to use at the piano.

the support group just apologizes. they blame users, their equipment, typical of a poorly run it department. even the instructors roll their eyes during videos when answering questions about problems with the answer contact support. its a shame because the lessons are worth the time

Do not buy digital products from their…

Do not buy digital products from their store. I got a confirmation that I purchased their digital product, It's also in my account details/ payment history that I purchased it. No download link, no instructions on how to download it. A few hours has passed and no reply from support. It's sad because I bought it as a token of appreciation for all the free resources they give for only to be let down like this.

“You can Download it as soon as you bought it” is on the products description.

Biggest lie ever. There is no link that will take me to a download page. Absolutely shameful.

Terrible Customer service

Terrible Customer service, automated and scripted responses with no complaints procedure.
Lost access to lessons on the website and told to use my phone app, which is tiny.

Lessons are very good but customer service awful

Lessons are very good and I find Lisa a really great helpful teacher BUT why does no-one answer emails? I have a query sent 9 days ago asking for help as Im about to have wrist surgery and nobody responds except for automated “we will get back to you we promise”. Customer service used to be great but its fallen apart over past few months. Jared, Lisa, what is going on please?

FAR TOO DIFFICULT TO CONTACT THEM!!!!!!

I got piano lessons this past weekend from a website featuring musora mentors and pianote listings. I looked at a few lessons and decided that it was not for me. I paid $19.00 for 12 lessons. I sent an email to say I wanted to close my subscription on Monday. Today is Thursday and I have received no response. I made multiple phone calls. On one call I left a call- back number but never got a call back. I called the number 4 or 5 times since and followed all their directions but each and every call dropped from their end!!!! I sent multiple emails to musoramentors.com and STILL NOTHING.

I am wondering if this is ALL A SCAM since it is so difficult to contact anyone or to merely get a response.

I love Pianote!

I love Pianote (and you get singing lessons for free too with the sister platform Singeo) - the teachers are excellent and make learning piano fun!

Still rubbish!!

So, despite being promised that someone would contact me 'ASAP', I am still waiting for any kind of contact. What's really annoying is that I was in the middle of an email conversation with someone called 'Kates', who asked me for the person's details that I wanted to buy a package for. I replied within 30 seconds, giving them the details and am STILL waiting for my invoice so that I can pay it!!
That was on the 30th December!! How the hell can someone drop out of an email conversation, mid-way through and then not reply for over 3 weeks!!
I expect this review will get the usual bog-standard, 'We are so sorry, blah, blah, blah'. Here's an idea for you all at Pianote: when you get a complaint, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

Will Not Recommend Pianote Online Lessons

I am shocked they do not honor their own words/ guarantee to refund within 90 days if you email them that you do not like the courses! Emailed more than 3 times to 3 of their active email addresses, about 1 week now, they would not respond, nor issue refund. Must someone stick to your lessons on your website? You will do well to your business integrity to do as you promise! Don't just make empty promises in order to make people sign up but fail to reply promptly and refund when someone actually wants to take you up on your words. I will not give you a try again, and will not recommend because you are quick to collect payment, but never like to refund.

Lessons are great - Customer Service isn't.

So, where do we begin.

I bought a bundle during the Black Friday sales. All good, $150 for the "Ultimate Lessons" bundle, which includes materials that need to be physically shipped to you. I happily added my address and thought I'd receive my materials on time. That's where the nightmare begins.

Musora seems to have shipped the parcel with missing information on the address (I double checked and I know I entered the right information). Royal Mail, understandably so, decided the parcel was undeliverable and returned it to sender (which essentially means it is sitting in a warehouse somewhere, but alas). Contacted support expecting an answer in "a few hours" like the website promises. Alas, I sent the first email on December 5th and haven't heard from them since, even though they do love to send me promotional material for new courses and lessons. Heck, fine, I'll call them. Bought a Skype subscription to be able to call their support number (it's US only) to basically never be able to reach someone, as I get stuck in a permanent queue.

So... this leaves me with a product that was half delivered, as I only received the digital goods, and not a lot of confidence they'll be able to address whatever issues you might have. I wouldn't recommend this company, despite the lessons being actually good.

Only been member for 2 wks, but this is GOLD!

Ive been a member for 2 weeks now and feel that i've had a look at the whole page.

First let me start of by saying that you should go to the YouTube page of Pianote and have a look there. If you like what you see you will find more of it at their website.

I will list 3 things that I absolutely love about Pianote.

1. STRUCTURE! When you sign up, you get an email telling you where to start and how to proceed with learning to play. The first videos is about HOW to use the pianote site and what possibilities there are.

2. Lisa. Even tho there are many people out there learning people to play the piano (on YT and other sites), to me it really feels like she is enjoying to teach and the absolute joy her personality brings to the videos are most welcome. She shares her own path on learning to play the piano and how frustrating it sometimes was.

3. A living place with real people in constant development. Live sessions, Q&A, podcast (free on spotify!), song walkthroughs (rated by skill level), an active forum, app for ios/android... probably more im forgetting. The point is that you don't just get a static video playlist with mediocre people. You get a living, breathing community with positive people all wanting the same thing.

4 (Bonus!). I almost forgot to mention the review thingy. You can send a video of yourself playing the piano at parts where you know (or don't know) you struggle and they will review your video and share it in a recording. That way other people can get tips and learn from what you need some work on as you are probably not the only one.

Bottom line: If it hadn't been for pianote, I would not ever followed the lifelong dream of playing the piano.

Pianote.com - Learn piano with joy

Find Pianote.com through YouTube. Their YouTube videos are only a small part of the vast piano learning experience received through membership. As a mature learner, everything is explained in an easy to understand manner, and within.a.short time I was rattling off modern songs. They provide a good solid foundation, whilst making learning fun. No gimmicks, we all know piano playing will take practice - but Pianote.com help you to maximise your learning time, building confidence and muscle memory. I joined two months ago, and cannot believe how much I have progressed. I can even talk 'music talk', understanding what I am going on about 😆. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are unsure, look at their YouTube channel, then bear in mind that when you go through their learning schedule, it is gentle and builds slowly with confidence - and is 100x better than the free YouTube vids. I am learning something now that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I just wish they existed 30 years ago!

Great customer service

Great customer service. Pianote has a nice product. The materials and site are of great quality. My experience with customer support was the highlight though. I had some billing challenges due to covid, and they were very helpful and understanding. Such a nice change!
