⚠️ BUYER BEWARE — PIXELNATION IN EMPORIA, KANSAS ⚠️
I am sharing my experience with PixelNation, located at 22 E. 5th Ave., Emporia, KS, because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I have.
On September 16, 2026, I placed a preorder through their online Shopify store totaling $3,195.85 for Pokémon 30th Anniversary Day & Night products, including ETB cases and booster bundles.
I fully understood that some products weren’t scheduled for release until November. However, after seeing PixelNation advertise that they had received booster bundle inventory, I reached out for clarification about my preorder.
My emails, Facebook comments, and messages went unanswered. It wasn’t until I left a negative review that the business responded, claiming they had contacted me numerous times. That statement does not match my experience. Instead of resolving the situation, they blocked me on Facebook, and I can no longer access my order or find their products on Shopify.
What’s even more concerning is that I’ve now connected with THREE OTHER CUSTOMERS who report similar experiences with PixelNation. That’s four customers, including myself, reporting problems involving paid preorders and merchandise we have not received.
At this point, I am out over $3,100, with no satisfactory explanation or resolution from the business.
I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Kansas Attorney General’s Office, and Better Business Bureau (BBB). I am also pursuing recovery of my money through my bank and exploring legal options.
I understand how preorders work. What I do not understand is taking thousands of dollars from customers, failing to communicate, and blocking people when they ask legitimate questions about merchandise they paid for.
In my opinion, this experience raises serious concerns about PixelNation’s business practices. I feel scammed, and I believe potential customers deserve to know what happened.
I’m sharing this to warn other collectors to do their research, protect their money, and think carefully before placing expensive preorders with this business.
