A debt that we had has just almost tripled, because of this company's outrageous charges. I work as a credit manager for a large organisation and employ the services of a debt collection company, who are registered with the FCA. They would never dream of applying such charges prior to court action being taken. This company seriously needs to be looked into and I will be making a formal complaint to my local MP and to the FCA. Questions that I have previously asked were left unanswered and their whole approach is totally unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

This farcical excuse for a company has been attempting to obtain money from me unlawfully obtain money from me and I have taken legal advice which is to stress the following:
“I have NO legal or contractual relationship with your company, I have never had a legal or contractual relationship with your company. Nor do I EVER intend in the future to seek a legal or contractual relationship with your company. The referral to you was not made by me so your choice to incur costs is unfortunately your business and not mine. Therefore, your attempts to obtain money from me are inappropriate and I am and will continue to challenge them accordingly.”
They are persistent in their harassment I will give them that. Unfortunately, they have ignored:
Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Consumer Credit sourcebook which states the following.
"A firm must not ignore or disregard a customer's claim that a debt has been settled or is disputed and must not continue to make demands for payment without providing clear justification and/or evidence as to why the customer's claim is not valid." 7.5.3
"A firm must suspend any steps it takes or its agent takes in the recovery of a debt from a customer where the customer disputes the debt on valid grounds or what may be valid grounds." 7.14.1
"Where a customer disputes a debt on valid grounds or what may be valid grounds, the firm must investigate the dispute and provide details of the debt to the customer in a timely manner." 7.14.3
As it stands, I am charging them £25 for each occasion I have to administer a response and have amassed a huge portfolio of evidence to challenge them and the source company. Either they well get the message or they will not.
I am also considering reporting them to the financial ombudsman for threatening language used in their correspondence. They are fools if they making their ridiculous threats does anything further than make me laugh. I will keep Trustpilot updated.

RMG and PDC are absolute criminals! Don't know how it is even legal. I have been charged thousands extra for fees which I did not even know about! I have written to Perry Binyon, the Property Manager, who just redirects me to another person to set up a Direct debit over 12 months which was never done! Then I have been slammed with more fees, and threatened to be taken to court so they can charge even more. Can't even get a key cut for my own flat! Spent an hour on the phone to set up a direct debit, was told it will be £200 per month and receive an email the next day with an DD Invoice for £400! Absolutely ridiculous!

Scam company, avoid, we have tried resolving matters with them and all I got told on the phone is that its not their problem, they expect a huge payment within 14 days and wont even accept any repayment plans, this is an evil company, so are Walderton House RTM who have put a claim in against us, they are hard to get hold of to resolve matters but quick enough to take you to court, all I can say is bring it on. I am happy enough to go to court against this shameful company with evidence against them

Very poor and damaging experience
I had a very negative and ultimately damaging experience with PDC Law.
After losing my job through no fault of my own, I fell behind on payments. I had an agreement in place with another company, who then passed the matter to PDC Law to manage.
PDC Law state they sent an initial letter to me, which I never received. There was no follow-up whatsoever, no phone call, no email, nothing. The first correspondence I did receive (which they claimed was a second letter) informed me that they had already issued a County Court claim against me.
I called PDC Law on two separate occasions and was given the same advice both times, which reassured me and led me to believe I was dealing with a reasonable and competent company. I was explicitly told that if I was not disputing the charges, I did not need to respond to the court claim form and could instead email them, after which they would instruct the court not to enter a judgment. Trusting this advice, I did exactly that.
When I later followed up, I was then told the complete opposite, that I must respond to the court and that failure to do so would result in a judgment against me. They denied ever having given the earlier advice and refused to offer any further assistance. I asked to speak to a manager and was simply told no.
As a direct result, I now have a County Court Judgment against me and am having to seek legal advice to deal with the consequences.
This experience has been extremely stressful and damaging. In my opinion, I was misled, and the handling of this matter showed a complete lack of accountability or willingness to help. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with this company.

PDC Law Ltd will no doubt dismiss this review just like all the others by reply that I’m not a client! No, I’m not a client thankfully BUT I have had the complete misfortune to engage and communicate with these charlatans over the course of the past 12 months. Essentially this outfit is the legal arm of property debt recovery agency PDC which will tell you all you need to know about their ethics and conduct.
The harm this outfit does to innocent people seems never ending and my experience is no different. Like others I have reported them to SRA – how they can avoid investigating them beggars belief!
Like many others leaving reviews, I am a freehold house owner on one of the many new estates which have sham Resident Management Companies set up to ’run’ services – in my case Penarth in South Wales. Run is deliberately in inverted commas as they do not have a clue about running and managing property and estates. Instead, they treat them like their own feudal kingdoms with no governance, no accountability and little -if any – knowledge and understanding of their responsibilities. We pay service charges to the manging agent – in this case HML Ltd – another charlatan outfit who cream off thousands in fees. Woe betides anyone who challenges or points out the lack of service. Instead of engaging and taking positive steps to resolve they will intimidate, bully and threaten – which is where PDC/PDC Law comes in who make their money out of chasing up apparent debts (even for services not provided) and again using intimidation, bullying and threats to get illicit money from hard working innocent people. DISPICABLE!
I’ve had my eyes opened as HML continue to use PDC/PDC Law despite their unethical and dishonest behaviour. In my case they issued duplicate claims just days apart without my knowledge – same claimant, same amounts. You would think the Court would pick this up but didn’t. Apparently, the Civil National Business Centre who deal with all these types of claims receive many duplicate claims from unscrupulous solicitors and in their own words done ‘to hedge their bets in case the first claim fails’ and that the District Judge takes a ‘very dim view’ of such unethical behaviour!
So, whilst I vigorously defended the claim I received, I ended up with a CCJ for the other one which I didn’t even know existed. For 2 months I have battled to get this removed from the Register. I had a credit limit reduced by a credit card company entirely due to this unethical behaviour by PDC Law Ltd. PDC Law eventually admitted the existence of a duplicate claim but to this day I have never so much as received an apology or an explanation for this! Initially they weren’t even prepared to write to the Court to get the CCJ removed – they said that was my responsibility – but eventually did so with reluctance and having had to escalate the matter – during the process they simply ignored most of my emails – again that tells you all you need to k ow about this outfit!
How this outfit is allowed to continue to trade is unbelievable – where is the SRA??
Avoid at all costs and if you happen to receive any letters or emails from PDC or PDC Law as a result of a dispute with your Resident Management Company/property managing agent be very aware of what will unfold

Disgusting company. Don't give a damn. The toothless SRA should shut them down. They don't engage in any dialogue whatsoever.

Absolutely disgusting people & unsure why anyone would wish to work for a firm such as this at this point.
I would strongly advise against engaging with this company at all. My experience with them has been nothing short of devastating. I am facing eviction with my two children from a property that I called home for over a decade and these people employed & engaged with this company do not care.
Being forced out of our own home is incredibly stressful, I will not yet give up, and I believe there could have been a more humane approach to this situation.
Avoid at all costs & any indication that they shall be near you please seek legal advice.

*Edit: The complaint was sent to the email address you have jus given in your reply and to the info@ email (as per your website). I have had no response at all from you. It was sent on 23rd July.
I made a complaint to this company on 23rd July. I followed the process on the website yet the complaint has still not been acknowledged (3 months later).
The complaint relates to a series of significant failures by this company which has and will have significant financial implications for us.

This company should not be allowed to operate. There are words called humanity and trust and they are devoid of both. They have taken a £4,200 unauthorised payment from my bank account and have not paid it back. Criminals. I paid the monies owed to them, got a receipt and confirmation that the account was closed and then the next month they took this unauthorised payment. I’ve spoken to them over several days and have excuses of, ‘no manager available’, ‘ accounts can’t return the monies at this time’ ‘my file is with upper management’. They have admitted the monies should not be taken. Their management should be embarrassed, but I doubt it even penetrates their thick skins that they need to be fair. Bunch of criminals.
Its my fault that this ended up in this guys hands, fact. I just want to pay now but cant. Cant reach any of them. Card gets declined on their garbage platform.

*Edited after PDC’s reply *
PDC and PDC Law already has notification so it is in itself disingenuous and somewhat misleading to post a response asking me to contact PDC so that it can investigate. My review relates to the fact that PDC’s regulated management has also failed to respond to my concerns, suggesting the concerning and poor behaviour is in fact condoned by them and constitutes the firm’s business model.
There’s a reason this firm is no win no fee - and in my opinion it’s also why it behaves so aggressively and poorly.
Reputable, good firms don’t need to do so - people go to them legitimately for advice and they earn fees that way.
PDC Law’s business model seems to be debt collection through heavy handed, aggressive tactics and legal action (being the legal arm of/associated with PDC, the debt collection company) - with disproportionately high no win ‘fees’ - it wants to and will do what it can (in my experience) to win at all costs.
This is clearly why management companies (not known for being a reputable sector) use them. It’s very interesting when they publish articles on their website warning of the complexities of getting property management and associated leasehold matters right, and the consequences of not doing so. But then ignore those inconvenient ‘technicalities’ when pursuing legal action.
How can a firm seeking to provide advice on how to avoid the pitfalls and the adverse consequences of not complying with the legal complexities in this area, then act (and in many cases according to reviews on here, bring legal action) for companies which are said to have done exactly that.
On a more serious note though, these sorts of behaviours cause serious distress and stress to the people they are involved with.
Again, I believe that is done knowingly and deliberately, and designed to intimate and scare people to give up and give in. I’ve been on the receiving end of some very intimidatory and entirely inappropriate behaviour.
Wrong on any and every level.

This company is chasing me for nearly £3000 of ground rent for a property that I don't own and have never had any connection with. I don't know how they got my details or why they think it is mine. I have contacted them several times to explain this, but I then receive further debt collection notices from them. They could just run a £3 Land Registry search to find out that I'm not the owner.

Typical ambulance chaser lawyers, who rely on limited evidence and scare tactics to win cases but when it gets to court the file notice of discontinuance. Never reply to negotiation emails. Im not sure how these corrupt people sleep at night, knowing their entire lives revolve around screwing over normal for a pound note. Zero morals.

Decent, law abiding citizens are being forced to pay thousands of pounds and slammed with CCJs.

Never responded to my complaint which I sent in June 24, just kept being told they could not find it and could I resend the email. Just had my new management company invoice and they have added the £200 to my next bill even though they are aware PDC have not resolved my complaint. Should not be allowed to keep trading.
