Avoid this company at all costs.
They installed an intruder alarm 11 years ago. Part of this contract involved them servicing the alarm annually for a fixed price. However, the engineers didn't turn up on at least 3 occasions, usually with no notice or reason. When they did turn up they were of variable experience and quality. I had to call Prosec during a service as the engineer was more interested in shouting into his mobile about his exploits of the night before-and using obscene language. I changed to another company a few years ago who have been excellent.
Prosec sent me a letter last week, chasing me for the cost of 2 missed services, stating I had not cancelled the service agreement. They had allegedly tried to ring me, " But your phone gave an abroad signal so we didn't leave a message". This is typical of their attitude. They only get in touch when they want your money, and are impossible to speak to when there is a problem.
I paid the outstanding to be rid of them.
PROSEC is possibly the all-round worst company I have ever dealt with.

In January 15, I was contacted by Prosec to upgrade and service my alarm. The appointment was scheduled for a Saturday. But nearing the appointment date, I got a call from Prosec to say their engineers were not available and they'd need to postpone the appointment.

The appointment was postponed 3 times after that. One of the reason given for the postponement was that 14 February was Valentine's day and the engineers didn't want to work on Valentine's day. I had no idea engineers were so romantic that they'd devote a full day for Valentine's day.

When we did manage to get an appointment that didn't get postponed, the engineer never turned up. This happened twice.

I called the company to ask for my money back but they told me that because it is past the 14 days cooling period, they cannot treat this as a return.

In my view they are crooks. They postpone the appointments beyond 14 days so that they can take your money and not give you a service. Stay well away.
