I liked that it was the surveyor who made the sale. He knew what could be done, all the benefits and installation techniques so there were no gaps in expectations. The installers were punctual, friendly and left everything clean. It was quick, easy and painfree.

After a little negotiation and homework I decided to go ahead with this.
The two guys that came, came on time were careful and courteous.
The quality and skill needed to get the depth right was excellent.

I have been very pleased with the installation of insulation in my loft. Very quick response from ordering to installation and installation was carried out efficiently by competent, polite and cheerful operators who cleared up after themselves. They even replaced the items they removed from the loft for ease of access.
Today is the hottest day of the year so far. I have just been into the loft and it is very cool - normally it would be in excess of 90F. It should do an excellent job in the winter keeping the heat IN!
I thoroughly recommend Protec.

Avoid like the plague. They call you up and try to sell you roofing insulation. Like a fool, I agreed and they just did not turn up at all. No apology or further contact. Scam merchants trying to get inside your house I guess.

Extremely pleased with our experience of a complete loft insulation carried out by Protec. The Father and son installers were quick, clean and very polite and a pleasure to have in our house.

The work has now been completed to a satisfactory standard after many phone calls. although the foam insulation has only been in a few weeks we have not had to have the heating up as high as in previous years

Whole process from survey to completion went very smoothly. The Insulation work was carried out as agreed by two friendly and polite men. I was impressed how quickly the work was done including clearing up well afterwards. Seems warmer/ less drafts but have yet to experience really cold weather.
My only criticism is that the advert mentioning “grants” being available is confusing. Otherwise happy with what I paid for.

Vunurable husband with Asbestosis Pleura plaques caused by his job. Our loft space very large and asked before agreed Job needed cleaning afterwards as my husband was vunurable.
Job was never done even asked for help with Protec Management NOTHING.
WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THE WORK DONE AS PUTTING MY HUSBAND AT RISK.
THEY DID NOT CARE

Very bad experience from the start. Take on more work than they can handle by pure greed then sub contract the work to cowboys. Damages caused and Problems remain unresolved. No follow through.
No stars is a better description.

The men that installed the insulation were professional, informed and good at their job.

Good service. Installed on-time and completed in 1 day. Noticeable difference in warmth and lack of drafts in Loft. Was disappointed that the installation was much messier than expected with a lot of cleaning up left to do after the installer had left.
