I have use the company in the past and…

I have use the company in the past and would have given them 5 stars. On this occasion I ask for the wheels to be changed around and they quoted 20.00 per wheel as they said they would have to remove all the tyres from the rims. This has not happened before. On doing research I have found that a TPMS tool could be used to reset the system and the removal of the tyres were unnecessary. I am surprised that Protyres do not carry this piece of equipment and could not reset the system.

I was looking for an urgent MOT after…

I was looking for an urgent MOT after Kwikfit cancelled my booking. I went on the Protyre website and was able to book a same day appointment at the Taunton branch. Customer service was excellent, the car went in to the garage straight away and the MOT was completed on time. I was offered coffee while I waited and the staff were very friendly and polite throughout.

Dismissive we don't want liability!

I have used them for several years, should have learnt my lesson 2 years ago, their work caused my automatic gears to seize up. Which nearly caused me to have a major accident.
My step father took my car to a garage he knows who fixed the problem.
Last year after my MOT. The same thing happened! My mots were costing me £700 a time and a week after my car gears did exactly the same thing they did a year previously! It was almost like they unfixed the problem!
I then paid my stepfather £100 to get his garage to fix it again for me, so the work in total cost me £800!!!
Today I told them I just wanted to book a oil change, and ask them to put transition fluid in their because it has a judder. And they said, we don't touch automatics, that's not something we do. He said it's Liability!!
Which doesn't help me at all , I need my car!!
They then said that they had to book me a bronze full service to have the oil change so they literally tried to rip me off!!!
I've called another garage and they won't do the transition fluid either! Only this year they are being dismissive!! I'm not happy! I have autism and I don't know what to do!!!!

Got there 10mins before my appointment…

Got there 10mins before my appointment and they started the car straight away. Staff were really friendly and very efficient. Had both front tyres done inside 20mins. Done a great job and so fast. 👍🏻

Professional, friendly and reliable team

Went in to get two tyres changed and have a wheel alignment complete. The team were friendly quick and efficient. They found a couple of problems on my car and sorted them out with no issue at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for all your help!

Protyre are the real professional's - if you are looking for the best deal, the people with the best knowledge, whatever your car is from a mini to a Rolls Royce - go with them - they do it best because they are specialists and tyres is all they do!

Always expect the unlikely

Would have been better if i had not had to go back to get the casing retained for the spare put onto the spare wheel. Stupid error. Always check the boot before you leave 🫤but they fixed it and the coffee is good. Will use Protyre again if price is right.
