We have had 3 Holidays with Railtrail
We have had 3 Holidays with Railtrail, 2 in Europe and 1 in Scotland. 2 more booked for 2025, 1 in England and 1 in Switzerland. Every holiday has been packed full of interest. The hotels have all been excellent, and because of the holiday type, close to a railway station for convenience. It is always nice to travel in limited numbers with people of like minded interests. The tour managers are excellent. It is also good to have some freedom to do independent things as time allows. Booking has always been straightforward and the office staff only to willing to give advise if required. First class holidays.

Very satisfactory booking process
At this stage, I can speak (only) about the booking process. Railtrail Tours dealt immediately with my on-line application, and I quickly received confirmation that the reservation was made. This was very satisfactory. The holiday itself is later this year.

Good pictures in the brochure
Easy booking and the holidays were clearly described with pictures, both in the brochure and online cription. We liked the detailed itinerary and what meals were included.

Efficient service
The (landline!) phone was answered very quickly by a human being and my problem was sorted out within minutes. A refreshing and welcome change from the computerised 'anti-customer' service offered by so many organisations.

Looking forward to our Picturesque Highland Seasons rail tour, easy to book on the telephone. Our second holiday with Railtrail Tours the experts in rail escorted tours by far.
