First dress I bought was lovely. But second one was badly cut and had huge bits of material on the hips. Not what you expect at £345.
I messed up because I am ADHD and was confused by the try before you buy. And lost out on a 15% discount.
Sadly customer services were completely inflexible, totally unhelpful and said I could return but then reneged on this. A very unpleasant and upsetting experience.
I would happily have compromised and returned the dress and had a credit note. Or exchange. As it is I have an unwearable dress, have lost £345 and won’t risk buying from them again.

First time customer to this company and sadly they do not get my customer business going forward, I placed an order for an item I wanted to wear to an event with what I felt was adequate time to arrive, order placed on a Tuesday for event on a Saturday the item didn’t actually arrive until the following Monday too late, therefore returned the order only to realise that you have to pay £3.95 for returns which is deductible from your refund, I contacted Rixo customer care to state that I was unhappy to pay for the return as I felt that I should have received the item within the timeframe, their response was to tell you to pay extra for a quicker delivery and refused to waive the return postage, most retailers including small businesses that want to retain customers going forward do not charge for returns overall experience with this company poor and I can see why there are negative reviews for their customers care.

I ordered online from the sale and the item was in stock. After a few days I received a message to say it was not available and I'd be refunded.
This has happened before.

The clothing is a full 5*. The reason for the score is the dire admin. I received 6 dresses over 2 orders and kept 2 of them. The fabrics are gorgeous and the styling a bit out of the ordinary, the garments feels luxurious and special. However, I wouldn’t use RIXO again other than through the sometimes available try before buy scheme whereby you only pay for what isn’t returned. Their admin really lets them down. Refunds are unacceptably slow, the excuses given when queried tenuous. I paid for items on 12th, returned the unwanted item the day after delivery and finally received a refund on 29th after emailing them on 27th to request they deal with it asap. The products are big ticket items, each one being several hundred pounds and I cannot have that value missing from my finances other than for a reasonable period for which I have budgeted. RIXO go beyond a reasonable period.

Great dresses but rubbish on the administration front. Next day delivery didn’t happen and then 2 dresses were sent out! Had to chase up the refund. Customer service response is inconsistent. Sometimes it is excellent but the phone isn’t always answered and call backs don’t always happen. Try on at home is an excellent option for an on line purchase

I ordered a dress on 18th July 2025 it wasn’t suitable and I returned it on 24th July. Rixo sent me an email on 28th July saying they had received it and my refund would be processed within 10 working days. Yesterday I emailed them (12) working days and asked where my refund was. They have emailed back saying it was an oversight and it has now been processed and would take up to another 10 working days. Really??? Customer service appalling I have never had to wait so long for a refund and then prompt them myself to get one.
They tried to tell me it’s because they are a small business…. absolute rubbish I buy from lots of small businesses.
Never again.
As of today day 13 I still have not received my refund.
My advice do not buy online from this company.

I saw the dress I wanted in June.
It was out of stock.
I was alerted it was back in stock 22nd July.
I ordered the dress.
When it arrived I found I’d ordered the wrong size.
When I contacted Rixo I was told they don’t do exchanges so I would have to return the dress and reorder.
Returned the dress on 4th August.
The size I wanted, a 12, was out of stock again.
Today is 8th August.
Still waiting for a back in stock alert.
Still waiting for a refund.
Occasion I wanted the dress for has been and gone.

This company is fantastic. The dresses come in such a variety of material, patterns and styles. The perfect stop to find an outfit for any special occasion.

The delivery and refund charges are outrageous. £4.95 for delivery and £3.95 to process a return. So £8.90 in total! For this reason I won’t be ordering from Rixo again. I don’t know any other retailers that charge this much. Exorbitant!

It is so rare to have perfect customer service and I genuinely think I had that because of Milly. I attended my Rixo Bridal appointment last week and she was a superstar throughout and after. Milly was so polite and friendly which was a great aid for my nervous self in uncharted territory! Milly is clearly observant and brought great insights which helped shaped my decision; I now have two gorgeous dresses and a jacket for my big day. Communication after the appointment has been great too and I’m truly grateful for all of her consistent help throughout. I will definitely send future brides to Rixo Bridal!

I ordered my wedding dress from Rixo and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Milly went above and beyond to help me source the dress in my size, even arranging to have it posted to me as it wasn’t available online. Her communication throughout was excellent — I was kept updated every step of the way, which made the whole process feel so smooth and personal.
As for the dress itself — it’s absolutely stunning. The vintage-inspired design feels both timeless and unique, with such beautiful detailing. It’s fantastic quality and fits like a dream. I’m so glad I chose Rixo for such a special occasion — highly recommend!
