I returned my Ruark R4 which I had bought second hand, as the cd player had stopped working. I was really pleased with the service I received from Ruark. I received the R4 back, repaired, from the in 8 working days. Excellent service!

Just purchased a Ruark r410 special edition media player, absolutely stunning Sound and quality

My R4 stopped working after 16 years of almost daily use. I contacted Ruark who despite the age of the unit gave me a fixed price repair cost, subject to parts still being available.

I was happy to send it back for inspection.
Therefore I was absolutely delighted when I was informed it had been repaired, all features working properly and the unit had been checked and serviced.

All within a week from me sending it back to Ruark and return delivery to me.

My R4 Mk3 purchased in 2015 recently lost the bluetooth connection functionality. I contacted Ruark on the Sunday, Terry got back to me the following day and tried to troubleshoot but as that didn't work advised that I would need to return to unit for an 'at cost' repair fee which seemed very fair. I ordered a Ruark transit box and returned the unit on the Friday, it arrived there on the Monday and today (Tues) is now repaired and tested and on its way back to me. That is what I call proper customer service!

I have invested in Ruark over the years but they see to have a 4 year shelf life they look great but it’s been so frustrating just about to give up on my 4th product. Don’t buy into it

Purchased Ruark MR1 MK3 Desktop Speaker System. Arrived well packaged from Amazon, simple plug and play, worked straight out of the box. Connected to my Dell XPS13 via Bluetooth. I'm loving my much improved sound quality when I'm working. I typically listen to ambient or piano music when working, or internet radio ambientsleepingpill.com .
The speakers also work great on apps like ZOOM.
Speakers look and feel good quality too, as well as sounding great.
So why not 5* ?
Well, I knocked 1 * off because the the remote is pretty useless. You have to point it exactly at the bottom left corner of the right speaker (almost with laser focused accuracy) otherwsie nothing happens. This has become an annoyance as every time I want to turn them on or off, I have to press it two or three times. I've never known such a bad remote control wireless connection.

Really impressed with the sound quality of my R410. The unit looks, feels and sounds like a class product.
I needed some advice when connecting my turntable with feedback issues. Terry in customer services was brilliant.
A great British company with fantastic support.

Recently had a problem with my unit, the online system to sort out the repair was very easy to navigate and the repair was completed very quickly. All round service was very efficient.

Everything about my experience has been exemplary, from the initial phone call to see if our R4 Mk3 was repairable to the email telling me the unit had been repaired within 24 hours of receipt.

I contacted Ruark with a issue with my R5. The warranty had expired but Ruark offered a very reasonable one of out of warranty repair cost. Ruark customer service were outstanding from start to finish with my repair. My R5 arrived safely back packaged fabulously now its back where it belongs to love it for a few years more. Would definitely recommend Ruark the sound to performance and customer service.

Ordered the R1S in cream. Packaging was classy and environmentally friendly. The unit itself was very easy to set up and finish is top quality and sound is very good from such a small speaker. Also registered for extra year’s warranty foc.

I sincerely apologise to Ruark Audio for the delay in sharing this review… it’s been more than a long time coming!
About 15/20 years ago I bought the Vita Audio DAB radio with iPod connection on top.
Without doubt or question, the sound quality has been for all these years, no less than fantastic!
Some of my music downloads over the years have been shall we say of ‘questionable origin’, nevertheless when I listen to the sound produced by my Ruark unit it sounds like freshly recorded.
I digress… listening to my favourite tunes (very eclectic) on my 20 or so year old Ruark Audio unit have never sounded better. Honestly BOSE cannot compare to this sound - great British quality thankfully cannot be beaten.
So thanks Ruark for making my enjoyment of music more enjoyable.

Bought the 410 and it's great I have to say it's amazing. The internet radio is the best I've had... unbelievable choice of great stations. The Bluetooth sound is also just amazing. It also looks great... such good quality.

Great repair service from start to finish. Ruark have fixed my prized R2i following months of issues when I though I would never be able to rescue it. Ruark have been fantastic throughout and their communications were excellent.

I would definitely recommend their services and products to anyone. If you have an old machine like mine, don’t bin it or give up hope, just contact Ruark and see if they can help!

When my Ruark R4i (purchased 2012) developed a fault, I was on the point of scrapping it until I read about the fixed fee repair service. I decided to try it, parcelled up the unit (using the packing Ruark can supply) and despatched it on a Thursday. By the following Wednesday, repaired, new parts installed and serviced, the R4i had returned and in the evening I was listening to music again. Such speedy, efficient, friendly sevice. Highly recommended!

I bought an R4 Mk3 in 2017. A quality unit but I didn't actually use it very much.
Some time later, I noticed an odd clicking sound and tracked it to the Ruark which I was disappointed to discover had developed a fault. Not sure if a nearby appliance might have affected it or clutter built up around it during some upheaval.
After finally getting round to contacting Ruark recently, they offered to repair for a fee and, although buying a packing box and postage increased the outlay, the process was simple, the repair was done very quickly and I'm pleased to have the unit back, refurbished and in fully working condition.

The repair of the remote for my R5 was handled quickly and without any question or cost, which was very much appreciated. On a previous occasion, Ruark also repaired my MRx and arranged all of the shipping, making the whole process completely hassle-free. It’s clear that Ruark stand behind their products and genuinely value their customers. Excellent service all round
