Safestore - Peterborough Opiniões 

Neil, Mehul and the team are a pleasure to deal with. We have had to use Safestore Peterborough a number of times, and they have been so helpful. We have found that the team are not just their to answer questions, they actually work to find solutions. Honest, helpful and hardworking staff.

Excellent service by Barrie @ your Peterborough store he is a credit to you. Very helpful and knowledgeable gentleman who really looked after us and explained everything in a professional and friendly way. We would recommended highly.

My goods have been stored at Peterborough since January 2021 and every six months without fail Safe Store attempt to substantially increase their charges.

Even when presented with a much lower quotation from another storage company they still want to charge in their words, “a small increase” on the existing charge without defining what that increase would be.

I’d just like to put it out there that if you have a long term storage requirement that this is probably not the company for you unless you want to re-negotiate every six months.

I’m now in the process of trying to arrange the removal of my goods to negate being unable to determine what their charges will be six months from now. I feel that the company’s approach is to maximise profit from existing customer’s to enable it to offer cheaper rates to new customers believing that existing customer inertia and the cost of removing goods will deter existing customer’s from moving to another storage method. What a way to run a business!

Hopefully, my review will enable potential, loyal, long-term customers to make an informed decision on long term storage solutions and to not be drawn into this problematic and increasingly expensive solution.

Please take the time to read all the one star reviews concerning Safestore’s approach to pricing and the standard response of “passing your comments to branch”. Even Dick Turpin wore a mask!

Please see the standard response from Safe Store as predicted. I have included my Safe Store account number to verify my review on Trust Pilot. The Peterborough branch (who have 67% negative reviews) have not to responded in any manner supporting the idea that the the Safe Store response to reviews on pricing strategy on Trust Pilot are simply a prescribed standard response.

It is disappointing that this is the case and hopefully future long-term customers will benefit from my detailing my experience on Trust Pilot.

Barrie and the team in the Peterborough store were exceptional! We were in a stressful situation which they helped to resolve. We were due to be moving and it was held up, within half hour of calling they had storage space ready for us. We were up against the clock and without us having to ask Barrie offered to stay late whilst we filled our space with our contents! They really were fantastic and this service is one to be proud of as a business.

When I signed up with Safestore I was told that if I give 14 days notice l will be refunded the money from the day I move out. The email response was that this was updated on tbe system. I moved out my stuff a day before and now I'm being told I was supposed to contact the office directly and tell them I'm moving out my stuff so I will only be paid a certain about of my refund. And the invoice being used for this is for November yet I had paid till end of October. If I was required to go to the office again after giving notice and moving out my stuff this should have been clearly stated or verbally communicated. I feel I'm being robbed of my money and forced to pay for storage I'm not even using. This is very wrong and simply daylight robbery
