Very dissapointing service provider. Do not contact them, My son forgat the key inside, they have given the Price of 59 gbp to open the door, then he has been forced to pay 90 gbp, when my son refused to pay that much, that Man closed the door to his face. So he had to accept 80 gbp for the door to be opened again which took 10 second again to re-open.
Do not contact with this Company.

Wouldn’t even give 1 star . Called the office explained my son was locked in , it was a chub lock and was told it would be £89 with a new lock . Man arrived and charged me £286.80 just to drill the lock out . The man was quite rude on the phone too. The office told me not to pay until the work was done but the guy refused to do a 2 second job until he was paid . Absolute rip off merchants. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I am a support worker working with clients who have mental health needs and additional support requirements.

This morning I had a very distressing experience when arranging locksmith services to help my client secure her property. I contacted Samlocks in Woking, who advertise a free call-out service. The locksmith attended and advised that my client needed a new lock. However, he proceeded to remove the existing lock without obtaining consent first.

After removing it, he quoted £450+ for a replacement lock, which my client was unfortunately not prepared to pay at that time. We therefore requested that the original lock be reinstated in the same condition it had been before — able to open and close, although not locking securely.

The locksmith reinstalled the lock, and my client needed to leave the house, so we left the property. When we later returned and attempted to open the door, the lock was completely jammed and would not open, leaving my client locked out of her own home.

As you can imagine, this caused my client a great deal of distress. I contacted the locksmith company to explain the situation, but they attempted to charge us a £70 call-out fee to resolve a problem they had caused themselves. During the phone call, the person I spoke to was also extremely rude and dismissive, at one point saying “what do you want, woman?” when I was simply asking for assistance for my client. They advertise a free call out fee which i understand we had used initially but to them cause damage to lock and leave this unusable and not be willing to come out a rectify or even advise on the problem is just unacceptable.

I cannot adequately express the level of upset and distress this situation has caused my client, who was left locked out of her home with very little care or concern shown by the company. Fortunately, the situation is now being resolved for my client!

Worse than 1 star. Quoted £59 all in over the phone then wanted £59 plus £95 when arrived for a simple 5 min job. I refused and called back the call centre to complain. They were very rude. In the end the person on site spoke to them and they agreed to half their fee. AVOID unless you have no other options.

The call-out operator convinced me that a replacement lock was very expensive, quoting some £375 for the grade 6 HS lock with job on top. What they installed in the end was a Versa brand lock that costs somewhere between £11- 20 pounds at B&Q. Called to discuss - the switchboard person was aggressive and rude.

After seeing the reviews of this place operating across the UK, I learned I wasn’t the only one. Will report to trading standards for investigation.

After discussing the issue on the phone, I was told the cost was £59 labour for the lock replacement plus the price of the lock itself, and that the workman would be with me within 30mins. An hour later he turns up, drilled out the lock within seconds and stated that the labour cost is £139, plus the lock. I told him the bill was incorrect and he simply said “I needed to use a drill which automatically put up your bill and it’s done now”. WHAT?!?!

He was obviously going to use a drill to remove a lock, as per the conversation on the phone. According to Trustpilot, this is apparently common practice for this outfit to lie on the call and then bump the charge once on site

Scam company. Tried to charge me £600 for new patio lock. Said there was no call out charge, but made me pay him £59 “cancellation fee” instead. Scam artists avoid!!!
