The Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue is dedicated to the rescue of homeless, abandoned, abused, unwanted and neglected German Shepherd Dogs and puppies. We work to rehabilitate each dog physically, medically and emotionally with the goal of placing them in appropriate homes where they can thrive as loving and loyal companions, typical of this noble breed. German Shepherd Dogs are a strong working breed in need of experienced and active families and we take care that our dogs are placed in homes compatible with their personalities and activity levels.

All around great!!!

Second Doggie
This is the second pup I’ve adopted from this rescue. It’s been a great experience and I’ve now got two lifelong doggies I get to give a safe home to. It’s a great establishment and I highly recommend.

Everyone was so wonderful and responsive as we were going through the adoption process. All of the puppies were well cared for and happy.

BCGSR
This rescue goes all out to protect their wards. You couldn’t ask for a more kinder, caring group of individuals when it comes to looking out for their rescues. From day 1, they have the dogs best life possible at the forefront. We have two of their rescues and they both love visiting with their previous family who gave them a start on their new life. The Best!🐾🐾

BCGSR has helped me welcome 2 furbabies
BCGSR has not only helped me welcome 1 furbaby to the family but 2!! I was really looking for another pup to join my other female shepherd and found BCGSR. They really care about each and every one of the animals that come into the rescue and make sure that each pup goes to the right home. Everyone that is apart of this organization is so helpful and kind and has made the adoption process that much better. I even have helped transport dogs to them because I know they will help find them all great homes and get them out of the bad living situations that they come from. I couldn’t recommend them enough!! Thank you for saving all of the pups that come your way!

Love Big Cypress,We got our Zoe from them and could not be happier. The owner Michelle is a very knowledgeable and caring person. They have saved so many lives,ones that have been abused, left for dead or on the euthanasia list…from Fl to Texas. I would highly recommend them for your next fur baby.

Such a great experience
Such a great experience. Janis did our home check and paper work- which was a smooth easy process. The day of the adoption Cherie was so awesome and helpful. We love our puppy and she is perfect(to us). You can tell that the animals that go up for adoption are taken care of with love. We have only great things to say.
