Bad cancellation policy

We have been a Savvy Pet Spa customer for a year and we have had a very good experience with them. The software is user friendly and rich in options. We have recently decided to move to another Pet Grooming App and put in a 30 day cancellation notice with customer service, but we were never told we had to fill out a form & do an off boarding phone call before our account could be cancelled and our monthly autopay could be stopped. Our account has been charged after the cancellation period, I am very unhappy with this, I have never experienced an account cancellation policy like this and think Savvy pet needs to re access their cancellation policy, and also return our auto payment taken out after cancellation.

so easy to use, my clients love the online booking system. all my info is in one place, there is an app that i can access from my phone! love it! made my life so easy

Great system which has really organised our Dog grooming salon. Helen who has made it a seamless rollout and provide some insightful industry knowledge through the process. I cant recommend Highly enough!

Don't hesitate, sign up!

This system is going to change how we operate at Bark Gate Dog Studio. It is packed with features that at first can feel overwhelming, but once you watch the tutorials, have demos or just chat to the team they all become really simple to navigate around. We are a growing business and this will save so much time in admin that puts time in my diary to be with the dogs! Highly recommend.

A very happy Small business owner!

I own my own dog grooming business from home and its just me so finding a booking service that was easy and simple to use was a must. I found this with Savvy. Savvy makes my daily admin so much easier and organized. I have recommended to multiple friends who also now use it and love it aswell!

Brilliant software

Savvy pet spa has really made booking in my dogs so much easier.
Text message reminders etc are all automated so I don’t need to remember or take any time out of my day to send them.

I have the advanced package which is brilliant so I can only imagine how much more the other packages can offer. 100 percent recommend

Excellent customer service, price point and catering to dog groomers specifically

Savvy is particularly good because it is a system that has dog groomers in mind at its centre. Our previous system was much more broad and although it also had its positives, we found that we needed something more catered to our specific needs. You cannot fault the help team the response time is incredibly quick and consistent. We have found that there are lots of features that work well for us: having the pet info as well as the client info is a huge positive. Being able to add multiple staff members without having to pay extra fees per person as well as the base fee is a huge plus. We did find swapping over a little challenging mainly due to the volume of clients and information we had to manually put on after the information that savvy themselves could put on for us, it was very time consuming- I would even suggest offering an extra service for people who swap over at an optional additional cost for appointments and other more detailed information to be uploaded by savvy. We would have certainly paid an add on fee to help move over quicker. We do find that although there are a lot of extras that are definitely made with dog groomers in mind improvements could be made with user friendliness- just extra things like adding a checkout button instead of having to go payments, and similar things where there could possibility be a quicker or simpler route to get us where we need to be. We definitely could do with the app doing more things that the desktop can do- my staff members will really need to be using the app on their phone but there’s some things it can’t do which means I find myself having to use my laptop and I think for this line of work the app needs to be very accessible as it is quicker and easier for staff members. We are still getting used to using the system now and it is taking some time but we are overall happy with what it offers and also think there’s potential for it to improve too. I think the price point is very good and we look forward to getting the full grasp of savvy soon

Frustrating software, research your options first!

We are a single shop with 1 groomer. We thought moving from a calendar to salon software would help us save some time. We've been using Savvy for 1 year now. Savvy has caused nothing but frustration since day 1. It might be handy sending auto text/emails, but that's about as far as it gets and any salon software will do that. I have to access Savvy from my mobile, it is the MOST frustrating task whenever I open it!! Takes FOREVER to startup/load, every single time, even if I navigate away and back. Constant, annoying "UI update" notifications which - if clicked - then take me back to the calendar, NOT where I was last I.e. lose my work track. It does this even if I simply navigate away and back again, every single time, I have to then click back through to what I was doing!? Major issues with the email function. When they did their big security update in December, their system sent all my clients multiple (terrible, unprofessional looking) blank template emails. Made us look SO unprofessional, our clients now don't open our emails at all, so there goes that feature, useless. We have to use texts for everything, which of course you have to pay extra for (depending on package). The help chat function does not create ticket names and they close the chats when they're done, so to find answers to issues you've reported you have to scroll through every chat. DO NOT pay for the "marketing" function, biggest waste of money, it's like sending emails in the stone age. If you're an "older generation" groomer you MIGHT find the software useful, compared to say pen and paper. Personally, I have used many different types of software throughout my life and find that this user interface is over complicated and not user friendly. For example, their "save" buttons are in different places in every section and some sections don't even have a save button (somehow you have to guess it has an auto save)!? Most frustrating software I've ever used!! Research your options before you sign up to anyone! In my opinion, savvy feels like software in beta testing, they should be paying me to use it, not the other way around!!

I have been a Savvy Pet user for over 5…

I have been a Savvy Pet user for over 5 years after a fellow groomer recommended it. Beforehand I was simply using pen and paper and having to text people one by one their reminders! Needless to say how time consuming that was and how many no shows would accumulate if I were to miss any!

Since I signed up I have around 1-3 no shows a year which on it's own pays for itself. I find the system has a huge amount of recourses and the ability to make it your own with so many options such as colour coding, setting pricing/timings, individual groomers/salons etc.

Some of my favourite features include being able to set my reminders how I want and at a date in advance that suits me. I also love being able to select my own colours for types of grooms. You also have the choice of setting holidays to be automatically on the calendar so you're not accidently working a bank holiday!

A really impressive and important feature is the
Help chat. The small little button lets you ask the Savvy team anything that you may be unsure of or be interested about and someone gets back to you in a prompt and polite manner, everytime!

You can add additional features you may need to suit your business as it's not a one show fits all software. They have a simplified version for those just starting up and go all the way up to multi salons! You can have a card machine, online booking system, website, ability to send your 'books' to your accountant and much more!

The pricing, I find, goes in line with all the other booking systems. Which in my opinion is the cost of the no show you would have gotten without the system!

So make your life easier and sign up to Savvy!

Great for business growth.

I have found this system very helpful the save pet spa has made being able to see the business under one system. From booking to payments. I use Savvy Pay swell and I really like how it all ties together.

I am enjoying using all the features and learning the system. I can already see how beneficial it is going to be for growing my business.
