Well ,well, well where do I start, I would love to start from the beginning, but, I promised myself I would not waste any more time or energy on this man.
I contacted Scotia energy along with several other companies to quote for a total refurbishment in my family home which I inherited from my late parents, who lived in the property for over 50 years, which I explained to the owner on the first visit and how much attachment there was to this property which he seemed to totally understand. Though the process of quotations and visits etc he came across very professional, understanding and accommodating, which was exactly what we were looking for.
HOW WRONG WERE WE!!!!!
He estimated that the work would take around 8 - 12 weeks, we did think this was a big ask, but we were guaranteed that him and his team would be finished and gone in 12 weeks tops. We are now sitting at 8 - 12 months!! After around 5 months of hell we eventually had enough, the last straw was when the council came round to tell us that we were doing things that required building warrants and planning permission, The owner rest assured us he had this in hand, to later find out that all he had organised was a draftsman which was not suffice, we needed an architect, structural engineer and a draftsman, so at this stage we had to sack him off.
The constant lies and none responsive attitude would put anyone off let alone all the other many issues that we had. Fortunately his team were all self employed and their standard of work is very good, it was only him that let everything down by not providing the goods for them to work with, which I had already paid for, so you can see how frustrating this has been for us.
Please don't just read the reviews on here, do your homework you will be surprised at what you find. We wouldn't want any other family going through what we have a had to endure.
This is why I have taken 5 minutes out of my time to write this review.
