Unprofessional, rude and unhelpful staff. I wish I had read the other reviews before I had signed the tenancy agreement with Scott and Stapleton. They do not represent the best interests of the tenants. My advice would be to undertake your due diligence before signing any legal documents with this company.

This company manages our road for maintenance of communal spaces and a sewage pump as we are not on the mains system.
They are not very professional, trustworthy, or honest, and I would advise everyone to use a different company.
They are charging us, 7 houses in my road a fee, but when asked to produce evidence of what we are paying for, they will not provide any invoices or receipts.
I also asked for the stresslighting to be put onto the part lighting programme, and they did not know how to do this or that it is currently 'law' as advised by govenerment.
Very inexperienced and run by people who are out to make money without having the interest of their customers and the forefront.

Would stay clear of this estate agents!

They listed a property Hillborough Mansions called the same day it was listed was told the landlord has not given access yet and will just just enquiries.

Called back the next morning spoke to a different lady who said oh we gained access and are all viewing slots are taken. She said I would be contacted if any viewings cancelled.

Called in the afternoon and explained I will take the property without viewing as images and description were adequate. They informed me it wouldnt be fare on the other applicants.

I use to work for Haart estate agents and I know they can propose to the landlord so asked if they could do that, didn’t hear anything back.

Called this morning and spoke to some jumped up guy with a squeaky voice to find out if the landlord has agreed and they hadn’t even spoke to the landlord.

Scott &. Stapleton have a bad reputation as they are know to favourite friends and family into rental that are newly listed.

The team must be full of brainless blondes and young skinny men that think they are something.

I am making a complaint to the director and the property ombudsman.

If this is how they treat someone trying to just view the property imagine how they would be if you had an issue with the property.

I can see they barely have any properties on the market probably due to the incompetent staff.
