I always go to scrivens, Malton for my eye testing. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I wanted to support a local business instead of a big chain and scrivens don’t disappoint. The other day I popped in because some of my old ray bans had gone wonky and they fixed them for me! Nothing is too much trouble. Always feels much more personal being a local business. Easy to book online appointments too! Thanks to the lovely Malton branch!

I was greeted very warmly and professionally which made me feel relaxed and at ease by the reception/shop staff. The optition who carried out my eye test was extremely professional and explained the process clearly at each stage. She summarised the results of my eye test at the end in very clear and understandable way. I also booked an hearing test for the following week which was so convenient. Would highly recommend Scrivens in Rugeley.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and had a really good with news about my eye.

Had my hearing test at North Finchley earlier this week. Nav explained things really well and quickly referred me to my GP practice for further assessment. Great service.

I visited the Driffield branch today and I was greeted very warmly by 3 staff, the 3 ladies helped me out by checking 4 pairs of old glasses for me to check my prescription and after my eye test (also conducted by a lovely optometrist) they all helped me pick some new glasses, I was taking awhile deciding but they were so helpful and patient. This is an excellent reason why I would always buy from a shop as opposed to on line, they made the whole experience very pleasant. Thank you

My mother is a long time customer of Scrivens in Dorchester, Dorset. She has always received a very good service for both eye care and audiology services. The Dorchester branch has recently reopened after a devastating fire in an adjoining building forced it to close for roughly 18 months. I took my mother for a routine eye test and the new team working in the branch were excellent.
The whole team of 3 peoplewere friendly, patient, and very professional in helping and advising me and my 89 year old mother.

Another experience of brilliant customer service. Visited Scrivens in Rotherham recently to look at having some prescription sunglasses. The staff went above and beyond to guide me and help me choose my glasses.

I was absolutely happy with the service here.

Debbie in the Stone branch performed my hearing tests and prescribed hearing aids accordingly. She was very attentive, professional and had a great personality. She was also extremely caring and I am very happy with the results.

I have been a customer of scrivens for quite a few years and have found my recent visit to the Dorchester branch my best yet. Since my last visit there has been a change of staff, not that the previous staff were unprofessional that weren’t at all. This team however are professional, friendly and very welcoming. Helen was the team member that looked after me, she took great care to make sure I was happy with the process and the product. She made me aware of product offers that were available and also insurance. She and Daisy the new member of the team were very patient and honest about the styles of product I tried on both in how they suited me and the suitability of the frames I chose. I found the whole experience to be very positive and I was confident in my choice of glasses, thanks to the honesty of Helen and Daisy. I must also mention Donald, who double checked the measurements, who was very professional and had a sense of humour, sadly lacking in some places! The whole team work well together and it was a good experience.

After using specsavers for many years, I vistited the poulton branch and realised what good customer service was. From booking the first appointment, to the eye test and selecting new galsses and the sales process, everything was explained completely and taking the time to ensure I was fully informed, Never going back to specsavers, I am a converted fan of scRIVENS.

Lee from Scrivens in Halesowen was friendly and professional from start to finish when looking at tweaking my hearing aids. He was attentive, listening carefully to the difficulties I was experiencing and came up with satisfactory solutions to help. In fact all of the staff were warm and welcoming.

I have been using Scrivens and Melson Wingate for about 50 years. During that time I have found their professional and friendly style one that I have come to trust - I wouldn't have stayed with them otherwise. Throughout almost all of that time Shelley Dean has been a constant and is now the Branch Manager at the Broadstone Branch. I am more than happy to recommend Scrivens.

I recently visited the branch in Alsager Cheshire Rachel the young lady who dealt with me & all the staff are a credit to the company. I was treated with kindness, understanding & patience. I would highly recommend them as a first choice & i am so impressed with the service that i am going back but this times for an eye test in a few weeks time. So thank you again for giving me a better quality of life.

Priah carried out my eye test and was professional, thorough, and put me completely at ease throughout. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely took the time to make me feel comfortable. They were incredibly patient and helpful when it came to choosing the right glasses, offering advice and support without any pressure.

The level of customer care I received was outstanding, and it was clear that the team truly values their patients. I left feeling confident that I had received the very best service. I would highly recommend Scrivens Opticians in Rugeley to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and caring experience. I am due for replacement NHS hearing aids and I have been waiting for months for an appointment with Scrivens, Havant, Hampshire. My current NHS aids are useless because they are very muffled and there is a lot of white noise. Scrivens say they cannot service these aids because they do not have the necessary software. This problem is seriously affecting my quality of life, but they insist they have no appointments available for months. However they regularly advertise their hearing services for new customers. All these positive reviews are probably from people who spend money. They only claim to provide NHS services and I only wish I had a choice to go somewhere else. I also wear glasses, but would never use this company due to the poor service I have received as an NHS hearing services patient.
