Well what can I say - Not very happy, we are a small company and have spent thousands with Search4local over the past 6 years, but now we no longer want to spend all that money and are going to be downsizing they throw us under a bus - want money to transfer then (I have no idea with techo stuff) and when I ask them for help to transfer our website to another company the only answer you get - is see you new host!!!
All nicey nicey when you are spending money with them but then don't want to know you

Search4local have been very good at building my online presence and creating new business from online enquiries. I used the IT services this week and they were very professional, competent and eager to help. Special thanks to Julie Widdall who initially got me set up with Search4local and has been my contact since. Always quick to respond to any messages and very good at her job.

Jess come to the office was very professional, told me what they could do for my new web page, now it’s up and running, looks great and easy to use

I would be very careful using this company, do you remember yell.com of old where all they are interested in is signing you up on 12 month contracts……
We had been with these guys since 2022 right up until the last few days, spent in the region of 90k with them on google ads, the website, ongoing SEO etc. Our company is GSS Security & Electrical (Midlands) ltd.
The last year the results really went Stale. I constantly went to our local rep with our findings and lack of calls/emails for the large monthly sum we were paying. Putting all that aside, I cannot believe how this company have been when I informed them we were moving on elsewhere as I felt our business needed a change. They automatically renewed our ongoing hosting, ‘review package’ when I didn’t consent. They are now demanding these fees be paid as it’s part of their contract so they will now try and charge us for a website that doesn’t exist which clearly shows what type of company they are about! They want to charge us still for ongoing monthly SEO when there isn’t a website to work on! Be careful of google ads too, as they create their own branded Search4local reports so who knows where your monthly spend goes? You should be having genuine reports direct from google and pay these companies a fee for managing it ! Debt collection company now pending for monthly seo and hosting on a website that doesn’t exist anymore, clear proof this company is only interested in the pennies! They must forget the 30k I’ve spent with them in the last 12 months alone. My advice, stick to local, and think twice about signing these contracts!!!!

Search4Local have been running my website since April 2025. I've been dealing with Nick Tudge who has been great through the whole process, and understands what my goals are for the website.
The transfer process from my old site that I was running myself to the new one was seamless. There has been a dip in traffic as was expected after the transfer, but as time goes on the new site appears to be performing well and I'm getting good quality leads.
They do offer different level packages for SEO, content etc, which are explained but I've not felt like I'm getting the hard sell which I have had from other similar companies in the past. All in all, if you are looking to have a professional website built and have no clue where to start, give these guys a go :)
