Very good site. Full of useful info, it would be useful to have easy links to all the hotels for each package holiday.
I always look on this site for trip / city breaks

The hotel was fabulous lovely setting great staff and everything in our room was spotless. Very pleased with our stay.

Wow we have just completed a holiday package with Secret Escapes - Cambodia (Siem Reap) and Vietnam. We chose 16 days package travelling from Manchester. We are in our 60's and still busy at work and felt we needed a bit of back up rather than do this alone. It was everything we needed. Guides and drivers picking up off flights and returning to us to visit all the important sights the next morning. There was no hitch. It was great. Plus the Secret Escapes picked great hotels and tailored all the stays to perfection. We would never have got it so right travelling ourselves. I would also say that having paid for the package there was not a lot of holiday money required. Breakfasts were amazing throughout and we only needed an evening meal and a few beers. We will travel with them again.

I booked a holiday for August. The very next day of booking we realised we had to move this to october. At first it seemed straight forward to go on the app, use live chat feature and they logged it for me and said it will be worked on immediately. A few days later I received an email with wrong dates and asking me to confirm within 24hrs. Also that i had to reschedule the flights myself. They also mentioned some random hotel in the email whereas i was askinf for the whole package to be rescheduled. I responded back correcting the dates and told them to wait until i have checked the flight availability. Within a day i wrote again confirming flights were not available for the dates i needed. So please use another date when flights would be available. No acknowledgment from them. I then chat with their agents and called them several times. There is no way to speak to the people who actually amend your booking. The people of the other end of chat or call only keep saying - its been escalated. Be assured it will be sorted etc etc.
I am still waiting for them to get the dates right and give me written confirmation that the whole package will be rescheduled. They are charging me for the date change and i have to pay to reschedule the flights. So its not being done for free. I regret making the booking. Got carried away by the package details and the costs. This has been the worst experience.

I would strongly advise against booking with Secret Escapes.

My experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I paid an additional £700 for a specific upgraded room (“Deluxe Collection”) for a special occasion. However, after contacting the hotel directly, I discovered that a completely different (and lower-tier) room had actually been booked.

I immediately contacted Secret Escapes by email and received no response. I have since called four times, only to be told the issue has been “escalated” and that they are unable to reach the agent who made the booking. Apparently, that is as far as they can take it.

As it stands, I am out of pocket and facing a holiday that is not what I paid for. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency is extremely frustrating.

In contrast, I’ve had issues resolved quickly and professionally with other travel companies (loveholidays, on the beach) in the past.

I would not recommend booking with Secret Escapes- save your money and sanity!

Poorly managed booking from start to finish including but not limited to;
- Incorrect itinerary
- Wrongly ticketed flights
- Customer service unable to deal with problems
- CEO unresponsive
- No response to complaint after 3 weeks

I’m a fan of Secret Escapes, good website and have booked many breaks with them. Want to mention Ahmed, one of their concierges/customer support guys, who gave great service in a recent search for a Palma package and really listened to what we wanted and provided tailored suggestions, leading to a booking. Thanks!

I’ve never left a bad review before, but I’m honestly so frustrated with Secret Escapes’ customer service.

I needed to change the dates of a holiday and it’s been an absolute nightmare. It’s taken over a month so far and still isn’t sorted. They’ve sent through options that just don’t make sense, hotels over 2 hours from the airport, flights at completely the wrong times, etc.

To try and make things easier, I even sent them a screenshot from their own website with a holiday they’d previously quoted us for, same destination, correct dates, and suitable flight times. It was actually cheaper than what we originally paid. Despite that, they refused and said they can only use prices “published on their website” (which is exactly what I sent them). Instead, they’ve come back with a different hotel, a lower standard car, and expect us to pay an extra £60.

Communication has been just as bad. I’ve asked multiple times for a phone call, but the only times they’ve tried to call were on bank holidays. When I’ve called them, I’ve been on hold for up to 40 minutes, only to be told it’ll be dealt with over email, and then you wait weeks for a reply.

It’s been stressful and unnecessarily difficult from start to finish. The holidays might look great, but the customer service has been really disappointing.

Is the website a scam / con ??? Put in Location, Dates, number of people etc. Hit search and get the result. BUT when you select one of the hotels the prices increase x3 or more. One hotel was £340 for 3 nights, slect it and it is suddenly £770 for the 3 nights? Is it a con or unethical marketing

Great communication and superb value deals. I have used the site on many occasions and in terms of price and value they consistently come out the best.

Usual easy booking experience and great price. Unusually I was not able to note that my dog would be accompanying us, but that was quickly solved by a phone call to the hotel.

I have booked several trips through Secret Escapes. They have a great selection of different kinds of trips to purchase with very competitive rates. I highly recommend Secret Escapes and have told family and friends to download their app and browse through their website

I have used Secret Escapes many times and have always been pleased with the ease of booking and the standard of hotels recommended. The hotel only offered a discount until the end of April but Secret Escapes found us 21% off in May ! Well done
