This company sucks I spend 35 dollars on a prepaid card and I can even use it on online shopping or in person this company is a total and complete joke never buy it it’s a scam go spend your money on a actual gift card from Mastercard from their site or buy an actual Mastercard gift card in store

Waste of time and money!

I got the card to use online for my game and to order stuff that I needed and I can't do either one, also trying to get ahold of someone to fix the problem is impossible, wish I could get a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CARD! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CARD!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CARD!! I'm blasting this on every social media site that I can because I feel like I have been scammed!

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. Tried to use this card at Walmart, declined. SecureSpend flagged as fraudulent. I called them and told them the transaction was legit, and they said too bad we have to send you a replacement card, and should look for a list of approved retailers, although they admitted Walmart is an approved retailer. Had to wait a week for a replacement card. So now I have to gamble on using the card anywhere. I just want to find a way to pull the money from the card, but you cant get it off Venmo.

Crave Books issued me a full refund and Secure Spend didn't credit my card and I can't get any response from Secure Spend to resolve it.

do not buy these prepaid gift cards! WHEN YOU GIFT THEM, YOU GIFT HASSLE AND FRUSTRATION TO RECEPIENTS

i would give zero stars if that were an option. The securespend.com website does not work, ever, it's impossible to check the balance. I called the number on the card and typed in the card number and it says it was invalid (multiple times). In the end had to call and wait 25 minutes to speak with an agent who was able to tell me the balance. Do not buy those prepaid gift cards, they are so much hassle to use, and not accepted online despite their statements.

This is the most God awful, full of s***,
Throw in the trash piece of garbage I've ever been associated with. Just bought the card, load 65 dollars on it to not be able to use the piece of crap no where, Because there's no name of billing address associated with the price of crap card. Can't add it to wallet can't add to PayPal or cash app. This piece is crap is worthless now I have money I can't even use. Pathetic piece of crap

Worst prepaid visa card I've ever had! DONT BUY.

Worst prepaid visa card I've ever had. It was declined by many places, even chilis. Probably because there is no registration so the card matches your name on certain sites. Couldn't pay my internet bill with it either. Purchased taco bell for $46 but the cards site transaction showed $56. So, where did the other 10 go? Taco bell or this company stole it? Then when I had 50 left, the number said card has error, they don't fix it, can't log in even on different servers and phones now and their site is no real help. The 50 is just lost now? Shut them down. Karma will get this company. They don't care!

This has to be a bigger scam than what we're seeing, not only does the company blatantly scams multiple people on the daily, almost every store i've been to has secureSpend cards on the very top so its first to see, or in the perfect view. At first, I thought I was crazy until 4 different stores confirmed my suspicion. Sucks how I finally got out of the military after 8 years and coming back to America I can't even trust buying a gift card for my family on the holidays, hope this gets looked at to see who a part of the root problem is.

I will never get a card from them again they locked my card saying it was compromised after a transaction that I made then they make you send documents into get a new card and says that takes 30 days to come so the money I have own their I can't use horrible service will not recommend this card at all stay away zero stars if I could

I would rate this card -10 if I could. I received this card from a local merchant for being a loyal customer. I have activated it and have registered it online via the securespend website. I have tried to use this card numerous times, at numerous merchants and it is consistently declined in spite of having sufficient funds. I have contacted customer service and they tell me there is nothing wrong with this card. I will be notifying the merchant who purchased the cards as I'm sure they're not happy with spending over $4000 on cards to give a way to their customers only for their customers not to be able to use them.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GIFTCARD COMPANY! I PUT 500 DOLLARS IN THIS CARD, SPENT IT ONCE FOR 104 DOLLARS. I TRIED TO USE AGAIN AND IT SAID INVALID. I CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE BACK AND COULD NOT GET THROUGH TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE
REPRESENTATIVE, THE AUTOMATED SERVICE TOLD ME MY CARD WAS INVALID. CALLED AGAIN AND THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER! I USED A DIFFERENT NUMBER TO CALL AGAIN AND GOT THROUGH TO A REPRESENTATIVE ONLY FOR HER TO TELL ME THEIR WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO!

Secure Spend Cards can't be trusted, the company is involved in costumer theft!!! recently started buying Secure Spend…

I recently started buying Secure Spend gift cards, both Visa and MC to make online purchases. They suddenly are unusable due to what they vaguely refer to as a security measure to protect your funds. But after being given the run around and no way to get your money returned or refunded, it becomes obvious that they are either completely incompetent or else a blatant scam, THIEVES!!!

Scam-cant use ANYWHERE

Scam! Got a card and tried to use it. It declined. evrrytime these cards declines, they lock the card. When you call, the Indians read a script that says om sorry, but your card has been compromised we will mail you a new one. I said IT WASNT COMPROMISED, IT WAS ME YOU DIRTY FOOTED TwT! They didn't care. Mailed me a new one, I tried using it and exact same thing happened. Tried using it at Doordash, it declined. I called, they read the script. I finally said get me a f' manager NOW!!!!! and I told them it was being filed with OCC.IM calling Walmart and letting them know what they're selling. This company has to close

- [ ] CVS associate had to try 3 different cards before one actually activated
- [ ] She stated they’ve been having issues with that particular card (RED FLAG - in hindsight, I should have walked away at that point)
- [ ] Called number upon purchasing card, confirmed $470 balance
- [ ] Tried to use at Nordstrom rack, declined
- [ ] Tried numerous times to register card on SecureSpend website. Each time encountered an error
- [ ] Tried to load card on Google Play - declined
- [ ] Tried to load to ApplePay - declined

10/3
- [ ] Spoke to SecureSpend customer service
- [ ] Rep confirmed the attempts specified above and informed me the card was on hold and thus unusable for 7 days and it would be reactivated on 10/10
- [ ] I asked for a case or reference number in case I needed to call back
- [ ] I was informed they don’t have reference numbers and if I was concerned about their legitimacy I should remember that I called them using the number on the card (RED FLAG)
- [ ] I asked if he was able to associate the card with my name and address since I was unable to do so on the website
- [ ] His first response was asking why I would want to do that because it’s just going to show a zero balance (RED FLAG)
- [ ] I asked again and was informed he could not do that with a zero balance card and since my $470 was on hold, although still active, I effectively had a zero balance (RED FLAG)

I called a couple times throughout the week to see if the balance had posted. It had not.

- [ ] Spoke to CS again and was informed the entire $470 balance was used on 10/4 at bet mgm online gaming. This was one day after I was informed the card would effectively not exist and have no balance until 10/10
- [ ] Rep had no record of my original attempts to use the card on 10/2 even though these transaction attempts had been confirmed by CS on 10/3 (RED FLAG)
- [ ] CS offered to send dispute paperwork to me and stated the dispute process takes 90 days
- [ ] I asked to speak to a supervisor and rep disconnected my call
- [ ] I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and again, rep disconnected the call
- [ ] I called a 3rd time and asked to get a copy of the transcripts from the calls on 10/2 and 10/10. The rep disconnected the call

- [ ] Spoke to card issuer (InComm). They could not have cared any less. Once the card is activated from the purchase point it’s “out of their jurisdiction” - even when their partner company refuses to speak with the customer.

The thing I don’t get is why major retailers continue to sell these cards even though they know the card issuer will defraud their customers. As far as I’m concerned, CVS, Sam’s etc are complicit in the fraud. They get their cut and then wash their hands of the transaction like it never happened. There needs to be class action lawsuits against SecureSpend, InComm and all the retailers that sell these cards.

I do not recommend that you ever buy…

I do not recommend that you ever buy this card. 3 unresolved open cases after the first transaction on a $500 card, they take 2 months to respond without letting you know if they are going to send you another card. Do not buy this card, especially not at Sams.
