Senator Windows Opiniões

Update on broken hing / locking mechanism on Tilt and Turn.
Its now 9 months since i raised the issue with a broken tilt and turn window mechanism with Senator Drogheda. After a lot of push from me they have had two goes at fixing it to no avail. Last attempt was two months ago. The service guy is the only one who will anser his phone or reply but he is stuck in the middle and claims there is a part needed from the factory..for the past 9 months!!

In this heat I cant open one large tilt and turn window.

No interest in after sales service. In my experience, Wont reply to emails at all levels

No interest to change door handles that were replaced. 1st issue was pitting ....changed okay in 2014-2018 period as under warranty. The handles replaced were substandard and still rusting ! They say no longer warranty but once they change the warranty starts again......very poor service and no follow up.....called several times and just want to get proper door handles. Also have windows no longer sealed and to change its very expensive call out fee. I spent alot of money with them but customer loyalty is not there...thank you.

We shopped around for a Front & Back door and met with Glen in Senator Windows, Dundalk. He listened to what we wanted, came up with all the solutions and even better ideas. Senator Dundalk have people (like Glen) that listen to what you want and deliver with top class customer service and quality workmanship. They are not the cheapest but certainly not the dearest - just the best. We will be back to get our windows replaced in the future.

Buyer Be Very Aware!

Shocking & extremely disappointed with Senator Galway!

BE SURE TO
Keep a Very Close Eye on the Fitters at every stage to ensure your new windows & doors are installed as per basic installation requirements.
Expanding foam needs to be sprayed All around the window frames!!

Having used Senator years ago I had no hestitation about using them again.
I contacted
Peter Fallon owner of this franchise Galway .
He called out measured my windows doors & porch.
The fitter called to double check the measurements.
Product arrived all looked great until the fitters got hold of it.
One of the windows was the wrong size!! ( after being measured twice!!)
The fitters Broke hinges, drilled holes in frames that should not be there, damaged the concrete base taking off my old porch & hid it with pvc strips! After telling me they would fix it before installing the new porch!
I had a hole underneath 1 of my bedroom windows cill's . There was drafts coming all sides when breezy outside.
I could see as they were doing the job it was extremely slap dash! When I questioned the their technique I was fobbed off "we're not finished that yet"!!
They denied causing damage when questioned until I got Peter Fallon back to my house. He stated this only happens once a year & it was a wake up call for his fitters Colm & Peter!!
My windows were not sealed properly, locks & hinges were broken. I have never seen so much silicone plastered over the outside of windows & inside a porch in my life!
What happened to me was like a comedy of errors but there was nothing funny about it!

Having no joy requesting that these damaged windows be taken out replaced & reinstalled correctly, I contacted the MD of Senator Window's Ireland Owen Power in Wexford by I left several messages by phone, by email & resorted to a private message on LinkedIn Premium
stating my case also stating that I was paying for this job to be done correctly. To my shock & surprise I received NO Reply.
Needless to say I got my money back & went elsewhere.

I would NOT recommend Senator Window's Galway or Head Office after the total lack of professionalism & respect shown to me. Had I not been aware of what is involved with window installation I would have been non the wiser & paid a very substantial sum of money to have a very cold & drafty house.

Delighted with our new Senator Windows. Great quality, brilliant service, and the team made everything so easy from start to finish.

Wouldn’t go beyond Senator windows. So professional and friendly to deal with. Quality of windows is superb. From order to delivery and fitting was flawless. Highly recommended

Really happy with the service.

Great service and installation

From my first experience meeting with Pearse in Senator, Wexford to the final fitting the service was first class. No window design changes (or door) were too much trouble. Visit to showroom was very informative and give me a lot of different options. Final design and quote was as originally spoken about. The window installers were excellent, I did not have as much as a broken tile, chipped floor or excess paint touch ups when they had finished. They were very professional and cleaned up everything before they left. All in all I could not fault this company even though I was a bit apprehensive before I started the project. Windows look great and I now have a very secure front door. Thanks to all in Senator and Pearse for his professionalism and help.

They agreed to phase works over a period of time to suit my programme of works. Dealt with them on my own house and other projects and always deliver to timeframes.

Has windows and doors fitted over the summer. They look great they have completely changed the look of the house and gave it a more modern look. The house is cosier and we can’t hear the traffic on the road as much either. Delighted.

Unbelievably bad.
Took three attempts to install six windows over eight weeks. Failed first attempt was bringing the wrong glass that luckily I spotted as it was €795 cheaper than the one I ordered. Failure apparently due to no cross checking of orders which I found extraordinary for a high value item with critical measurements.Needless to say I was far from pleased but one of the directors did call and arranged replacement but delivery of replacement ended up taking five weeks.
Second failed installation was five weeks later but unbelievably this time two of the replacement windows were damaged.
One due to seal/condensation problem stated to be a Delivery problem and the second due to the installers scratching one of the larger panes.
Third and final installation was three weeks later.
Senator Windows Ltd. operate a Dealer/Franchise model so I was legally contracted with Ultimate Windows Ltd. who only provide a one year labour warranty versus three/25 years with their competitors.Hopefully I do not have any out of warranty problems.
Bottom line..Nobody should have to deal with the strain etc. of such a mess.

Keith and his team at Senator were absolutely outstanding. They installed new windows and doors throughout my Father's house recently. They were excellent with him at the showroom, helped him pick out the products he wanted, and offered an excellent price for high quality products. They were also really understanding and kind to my Dad when doing the installation. Lastly, my Dad had an Older Persons grant which required some extra admin and red-tape with the local council, but Senator were very accomodating and patient with that. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I have just had windows installed by Senator Windows Dublin very recently. I dealt with Keith in the showrooms in Dublin. Keith was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. He explained the different finishes and styles and I really appreciated his guidance. The windows were installed by two really nice guys, Derek and his son, and their workmanship was second to none, I can’t believe how easy the process of installing the windows was.

The finished product exceeded my expectations, the windows are stunning! You can see the quality in the frames, I have had many compliments about them already. I have to say – a great service from start to finish. My next project may be getting a new porch door shortly!! Thanks, Senator Windows.

5 Stars – Outstanding Service Again!
This is the third time I’ve used Senator Windows, and once again, they delivered fantastic service. The team was professional, efficient, and handled some challenging window installations with ease. Well done to Michael (the distributor for Cavan and Monaghan) and his team for another excellent job. I love my Senator windows – the quality and style are second to none. Highly recommended!

I had a dreadful experience with the window fitter at Senator Windows in early June 2025. The fitter was belligerent, confrontational and rude.
He had me in tears.
He apologised at the end of the day, but I cannot recommend the company for this reason. It was disgraceful.

I got 4 new windows and they exceeded expectations.there team was professional and knowledgeable.the guys who came to fit the windows did an incredible job. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Cannot recommend Senator Windows enough. I dealt with Joe Khan from start to finish who provided a first class service. I had a very small issue with one of the windows and he went above and beyond to ensure it was rectified.
He kept me updated on everything and that provided me with great peace of mind.

Thanks Again

Linda

Could not recommend Senator Windows Wexford highly enough. They recently installed doors and windows for us and from our initial consultation with Michael to the final installation everything was seamless. Quality of product is fantastic and the installation team were extremely professional and tidy. A shout out to Damien and Kieran who were a pleasure to deal with and did a brilliant job.

Another outstanding job by Michael and the team at Senator Windows Cavan! We followed Michael's recommendations for our windows and doors and couldn't be happier. While there's a short wait from order to installation, it's worth it for the quality and efficient onsite work. Top-notch materials and a clean finish. Highly recommend!
