Since we started working with them, our organic search traffic has more than doubled. Paid search has gone up by 35% in the past year too. We agree targets together, and they usually hit them. I've worked with a few agencies before, and the SEO Works has been the easiest by far. They really know their stuff.

We asked the SEO Works to take on our search rankings, giving them a list of the keywords bringing in the most traffic. Before that, we were doing it ourselves. At the time, we thought it made sense. But looking at how well we're ranking now, I wish we'd brought them in from the start!

We saw good results working with The SEO Works, particularly on the PPC side. George has been great to work with; he is responsive, clear in his communication, and always willing to dig into the details when needed. If you're looking for a marketing partner to improve your bottom line then look elsewhere.

We paid an obscene amount of money (£3,500-£4,500 + VAT per month) on the promise of delivering organic traffic to our website.

After being tied into a 12 month contract we made a huge financial loss.

Where SEO Works lack is they spend all of their time celebrating a ranking increase by a place or two a month but put no time into tracking what their rankings are delivering to their clients and how to collaboratively improve this to maximise ROI. The monthly reports they sent looked good but the monthly results that the business received were not. Nice people but seemigly not interested in helping their clients maximise ROI.

First started in mid 2023, the SEO has had it's time to work it's magic and I can comfortably say that £40k (we stopped paying and they're currently taking us to court for the remaining balance deemed owed) in "SEO Improvements" has delivered nothing more than we were already receiving before we instructed them. £40k essentially down the drain plus staff time.

When all is said and done, the worst partnership in terms of delivery we've ever encounted and I find it staggering that they're still pursuing a balance to be paid based on a metric of non-delivery. At least we climbed a few keyword rankings though (sounds bitter I know)...

If you don't believe me, please look at their most recent set of accounts on companies house. Their debtors are nearly 1/5 of the previous year, this shows that we're not alone.

I've been with this SEO company for over six months, and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. After spending £12,000 (at £2,000 per month), we’ve seen zero improvement in rankings—not even a slight upward fluctuation.

The only "work" done so far? A few title changes and product section descriptions—something I could have done myself. No technical SEO improvements, no backlink strategy, no real substance.

Every time I question the lack of results, I get the same generic response: "Rankings naturally fluctuate daily." I understand fluctuations, but when they only go sideways or down, that’s not progress.

To make matters worse, they don’t even answer the phone—not even when selecting the invoice option. It’s beyond frustrating when you’re paying this much and can’t even get a response.

If you want to throw your money away, these are the guys to call. Avoid at all costs!

We were undergoing a site migration. They ran lots of detailed audits ensuring existing SEO was carried across to the new site, then curated our content and keywords to their SEO best practices. We have climbed Google's search engine for all key words and have shown an overall increase in visitors to the site.

Their team provided exceptional customer service and were responsive via phone and email. I appreciate their friendly, down-to-earth approach and good understanding of our goals. Very much a part of our team.

We hired The SEO works for SEO and worked with them to decide on a number of keywords which were relevant to our business. We tried to handle the SEO ourselves prior to us working with The SEO Works which we thought was the best approach but after seeing how well we are now ranking and the impact on sales I wish we had been using them since the beginning! We work with two team members, both are very helpful and always eager to do whatever is best for our business.

Frequently forgot to send updates when promised, suggested paid for improvements that made no difference, and at one point accidentally removed all my organic rankings on Google by uploading a robots.txt file instructing all search engine bots not to index my site. Something I discovered myself and had to report to them when I saw I was no longer listed on Google. It then took over a week for my rankings to start to return, leaving without any organic rankings for almost a month.

Having complained about the lack of regular updates on changes/performance, I was contacted by a more senior staff member who emailed a suggested 2 weekly update commitment. After the first month this promise was forgotten, the 2 weekly updates stopped, and the staff member dealing with my project had left.

My rankings at the start were very poor, so it didn’t take much to improve them slightly. After the first 2 months the ranking increases seemed to dry up, and the paid for suggestions of changes to the website didn’t make any difference to rankings. In my opinion, SEOWorks are very expensive with average results and very poor customer service.

We used Seo Works for our digital marketing campaign and we have seen great results moving up in the search engine results for our chosen terms. Would highly recommend.
