I have been with SG for just over 4…
I have been with SG for just over 4 years and I have always found them super helpful, especially as I had no idea about the self employed company world having always worked for an employer. They always came back quickly and efficiently and I never worried about being on top of work finances. Although nearly all done on email, team were friendly and helpful throughout. When I did have a call, they were very helpful in explaining things in simple language especially on subjects such as Corporation Tax, Capital Gains tax and anything else to do with HMRC. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Thank you very much for your support. I've been with SG for the last 3 years. Every interaction is a nice experience. Alex Gould who is my accounting manager and everyone in SG with whomever I interacted are highly professional, well experienced, and quick in responding to my queries and explaining with accurate details. They submit quarterly VATs/ yearly Self-Assessments/Corp-Tax etc activities on time and remind in advance if any actions are required.

Timely, Clear and Personable - just what you want from an Accountant
We moved our company's accountancy service from another (disappointing) vendor to SG Accounting in the summer of '23. Since then, I have been repeatedly impressed by the efficiency and effectiveness of their service. I have appreciated not just their professionalism but also their generally personable manner, handling our accounts in a very timely fashion and always being on-hand to answer any queries and advise on all matters. Happy to say we are confident our accounts are in good hands.

Great contractor accountants
I switched to SG following a spell of poor performance by my previous accountants and have never regretted the move. All the routine work has been done promptly and proactively and I have always been able to get sound advice on demand for more complex matters when I've needed it. Now I am winding up my business after a successful contracting career, they have provided clear and detailed advice on the process, introduced me to an efficient liquidator, and completed the cessation accounts in double quick time. Highly recommended

Very professional services
Very professional services. It is the first time I am running business through my limited company and SG Accouting has given me the confidence that everything is in hand over the first company year. Quick responses to questions and helpful reminders anytime action is needed regarding company taxes, self-assessment and VAT returns. Also quite happy with the payroll system.

SG are consistently strong across the spectrum of services.
SG are consistently strong across the full spectrum of services - from initial company set up to the management of all of the cyclical tax, payroll and other business events and the provisions of timely, helpful analysis of relevant changes in the environment. I have never had a disappointing interaction in over four years.

SG provided a 5 Star service.
They have helped me in many ways. For example when I had a tax demand from HMRC even though I was contracting inside IR35. They resovled this and I did not have to pay.
If I ever have an issue or require advice they reply in 24 hours if not sooner.
I have been with SG ouside and inside IR35 for over 20 years now. The team are superb. Also SG's fees are very resonable providing all the required contracting insurance's built in.
If you are new to contracting or wish to change / join an excellent accountant then SG are the people for you.

Expertise and experience for contractors like me
The team and Dean just make the administration of my limited company as simple and efficient as is possible. The specialists keep track of all the due dates for accounts, VAT, annual returns etc for me and provide the tools to make my input easy. Their focus on supporting contractors brings experience and expertise that they provide proactively. They are also always very responsive to my questions, however basic or complicated.

Contractor Accounting - Look no further
I switched to SG for contractor accountancy services about a year and a half ago, and they have been exceptional.
They are fast to respond to any questions with clear, and professional advice.
My dedicated account manager, Dean, and his team have answered all my, (many), questions and I feel I can trust them with tax and accountancy advice. A particular shout out to Charlotte Mountain for her help with my Corp Tax!
Highly recommended.
