They did get me my shipment in one piece. However they stick you with extra charges and what option do you have but to pay when they have your shipment held hostage. For this reason I would never use this company again
This company is GOD AWFUL
This company is GOD AWFUL. PLZ DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They dont give a sh!t over their! They took thousands from us and now all of a sudden no replies and hanging up on us. Sketchy overseas company and looking to take legal action. I have been trying to arrange delivery for my shipment but their representatives are so stubborn that they don't bother about the customers convenience and keep saying that they have arranged delivery, they have their own timings and dont care what time customer is available. I had given our office timing which is 9 am to 6pm but their decides to come at 9pm and there was no contact made but they put up status showing that delivery was "failed", what type of behavior is this? This company should definitely close!

Beware!! Hidden charges EVERYWHERE and there is nothing you can do about it.
Beware!!! This company quotes you low, then continuously adds charges throughout the entire process. I was shipping from the UK and somehow ended up with these guys out of India so they must subcontract all of the work (can you say mark-up?). They do not keep you apprized of the status, the shipment was late, I was charged extra for pick-up, extra at customs, they charged me a storage fee upon arrival (even though they never notified me when it arrived). They will not provide a detail for the charges and if you question anything, they will just tack on more charges. This company is HIGHLY UNETHICAL.
The worst logistics company there is
After receiving and accepting a quote online, paying more than 9,000$ upfront, I had to write a lot of e-mails and ask in the chat for updates on my order.
After more than 2 weeks, finally someone reached out and asked for necessary papers.
For 2 more weeks nothing happened until someone told me that there was a disconnect between the chinese team and the shipment team and in the meantime the quote expired and prices had increased...
The worst company I dealt with so far.
We are waiting for the pickup of our goods since 1 month now and now we need to hope to get our money back and look for another logistics company.
Very terrible experience.
I highly suggest to stay away from Shipafreight. Hiring them cost us a lot of money, time and patience.
No quotes and lack of communication
I was sent an email about their services so clicked to get a quote. When I got to the end it asked me to sign up and my quote will be waiting for me once I do. I signed up and there was no quote. So I filled out everything again to get a response saying there are no quotes available. Which seems crazy as I ship regularly with my business and we're always able to get a quote.
I then emailed them to check everything was ok and whether someone could look into why there are no quotes available and never got a response.
Been a waste of time, yet they still target me for their business 😂🤦♀️

Absolutely horrible service!
Absolutely horrible service!! I have waited 2 weeks for a response to a simple question and every time I query it again I am told the exact same thing - the sales team will be in touch ASAP. I have missed a HUGE deadline because of the incompetence of your company and have now lost $1,000's in sales because my stock will not arrive in time. All because no one could be bothered answering one simple question and not one person could go a little bit out of their way to find the answer for me or offer simple assistance. I will never suggest your services to anyone ever again and will go as far as to steer people away from using your services if I am ever asked for a recommendation.
Reliable, honest and easy to work with
I have been working with Shipa for the past several years and found their service to be excellent. The website is quick and easy and when you request a quote a person contacts you. Their reps have been extremely helpful and will answer all questions and make sure you know how to fill out any forms.
I like that I can call on the phone and they can walk me thru the process.
I have also asked my Shipa rep for help with shipments that were sent to me via other freight forwarders! My rep, Prem, is always happy to assist.
Their pricing is very good and the itemized list of fees is complete. No add-ons after the shipment is sent.
I feel I should comment in light of the critical reviews here. The thing I found for successful shipping is very accurate specifications and checking with Shipa about special requirements. For example, pallets must be made of heat-treated wood (with the proper burned on label attesting to the heat treatment). Otherwise, customs can delay the shipment and require disinfecting.
My next shipment is via Air, and they gave a very good price.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We booked with shipa/agility about 2 months out before our intended shipping date. A month prior to our intended ship date, we tried booking a container. Little communication and we STILL don't have a booking a month later. There was zero help from the company on rectifying this in fact not even an apology or attempt to take accountability for the delay and lack of response. We found out typical booking standards happens within a day as our supplier had helped secure one locally. Also note it is NOT typical to pay before shipping even happens which is what Agility does - they take your payment upfront without any confirmation. I'm so frustrated with the entire process, the lack of professionalism, and the lack of accountability. I'm now late on booking a container and still waiting for the refund to process. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
Amazing Customer Service & Attention to Detail!
Shipa Freight is absolutely amazing and went way above and beyond in every aspect in helping me ship from China to the US.
Their customer service manager genuinely cared about helping me pick the best options for my shipping needs and always replied quickly with any questions I had. They even followed up with me after delivery to make sure everything went smoothly.
Their quotes were dead on and unlike many other companies I tried, did not have any undetermined variables that would cause unknown price increases. (For example a $50/half hour port waiting time fee from another company that shall remain nameless) The cost they quote is the cost you pay. I'm looking at other reviews where people are claiming "bait and switch" and this is not true. These people seem to be confusing customs fees with Ship Freight costs. Customs fees are ALWAYS the responsibility of the buyer, not the shipping company. These fees are charged by the government and not Shipa Freight. You will pay them no matter what company you use.
I was so concerned about making my first large international order and now with Shipa Freight behind me, I feel empowered to source my products from anywhere in the world.

Good communication but didn't work for me
Updating to 3 stars. The team is very responsive and they are available through email and WhatsApp. However, I wasn't able to move on with the shipping with them because we never moved the dial. They neve game me precise dates and I ended up hiring another freight company.
Now I'm waiting for my refund as it's been 1 week since I cancel and they haven't processed my refund.
I'll update here once I hear from them.

I'm still in the early process of doing my first shipment with Shipa Freight. However, so far, they have been super responsive with strong client management skills and very knowledgable people. I will also update this review after completing the shipment.
Shipafreight is the best
Shipafreight is the best one for handling shipment to overseas. Although the freight rate they quoted me wasn’t the lowest one at the beginning, but their service is the best. Their staff is very professional to answer my question whenever I raised online, they can give me the answer I want in a few minutes. Not like other same kind of service provider, their rate was really good, but I was requested to keeping all my credit card details in their online platform for any other unexpected charges. Finally, the goods were delivered to our client perfectly.

Their argument: The small print says quotes are just a generalized quote. Why pray do I have to give weight and dims then to obtain a quote? Don't bother. I canceled the booking and requested a refund.

Shipa handled multiple shipments for me (from Italy to Dubai, from the UK to Dubai, and from the US to Dubai). Their service was outstanding. They were completely attentive to all the documentation requirements both at origin and at destination, and were able to make both the delivery and customs clearance seamless. My experience with shipafreight is a great one.
Shipafreight keeps to their promise delivery time. And are very responsive and proactive to task.
Best team ever
We are a Romanian based company and we have been working with the India based ShipaFreight team managed by Premchand Bathu for 2 years. We found the company on the internet and at first did not know what to expect, but happily they have exceeded our expectations every time. Apart for the very good rates they always respond promptly to our requests or questions, no matter the hour (which never happens with the EU based branches which are super slow and limited in action power), have managed to bring our goods sometimes despite all odds - particularly after the pandemic start when flights started to be cancelled and lockdowns happened. We appreciated that even with the airlines raising quotes sometimes daily they did all their best to negotiate on our behalf and keep our rates as close to our "before pandemic" ones.
Prem's team also successfully handles our insurance claims as well - unfortunately we had to submit 2 within the past 6 months and we received our claimed money in less than 2 months, even within the holiday season.
Overall, we think that Shipa is the best choice for both companies or individuals who need shipment services and take the time to actually discuss and customize the initial internet based quote (to avoid inevitable discrepancies that will appear between draft and final quote).
I had a very bad experience with them
I had a very bad experience with them, their delivery team delayed my important shipment for the last 25 days and after pickup, they added an extra amount without earlier notification or don't inform me at the of pick up and charging a huge amount on the name COVID-19 protocol first they asked to pay 750$ on the name of insurance which is refundable, then they asked to pay 500$ on the name of EUR1 Certificate while the shipment is domestic and then they asked for to pay 820$ for disinfected spray. They had no idea when it'll be delivered. There was no coordination between their customer support team and their delivery team.

after reading through the reviews. They’ll give you a mind blowing quotes online, their costumer service will helping + giving you every information you need. Sounds very good but, once you purchased the quote that was giving to you online, they’ll get back to you with a STORY LIKE THIS “ Based on the revised cargo details, we have generated a new quote, the same attached for your reference. And there will be additional charges due to change in the cargo details.
Your existing quote: GBP 670.83
New quote : GBP 1,187.54
Additional charges: GBP 516.71
For this case, even if the goods are packed in the pallets, it will be ended up in adding with the pallet weight along with the cargo weight.
However, to explain on your point, generally based on the booking confirmation given from your end the pickup will be arranged and after receiving the cargo in the W/H our team will revalidate the cargo dimensions with the booking and finalize the actual weight and volume of the shipment.
Please be informed that, the payment which you made ( 670 GBP ) only covers the cargo weight as per your initial booking.
However since the cargo weight and volume highly increase from your original booking, we need to proceed as per the new quote we have submitted ( 1,187.54 GBP)
We request you to pay the balance amount as we mentioned below.
Additional charges: GBP 516.71
