I took my laptop into the shop due to a network access problem. Right from the start the staff were professional, efficient, clear and friendly. The problem was quickly fixed meaning minimal disruption. I'd definitely recommend using them.

My wife and I needed new computers. We received excellent advice about getting an appropriate laptop and desktop plus accessories and had the data transferred from the old ones. After-sales service great too; no problem too small to get sorted. Staff very pleasant and approachable.

Excellent service as always from Simply Fix it , I would rather make the trip up to Brunsfield than trust other operators in this area. My phone was fixed in 20 minutes to remove the end of a lightening cable in the charging port. What I like about this company is that they are very honest up front in saying what might need to happen if they are unable to fix the issue and I really appreciate this aspect.

Didn’t think they’d be able to fix my iPad. There was barely a screen left on it and it isn’t the newest of versions but I’m really pleased with the results!

The laptop is working, but I find it less satisfactory in three ways. The scroll bar has become thin and harder to use. Instead of attractive screensaver views I now have a nasty blue swirl. It is difficult to follow the obscure sequence of actions to switch off. I am away next week, but might visit you later to seek improvement.

Brian was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, he was honest. He took the time to explain that an upgrade I was considering wouldn’t be cost-effective, rather than pushing unnecessary work. That level of transparency is rare these days and speaks volumes about the integrity of the company.

I’ve got an older laptop that was beginning to overheat, and I knew that if I didn't get something done quickly, then it was likely that I'd damage the processor beyond repair. Most companies I spoke to said that the laptop was too old, and recommended buying a new one. I didn't want to do that, and was delighted to be pointed towards SimplyFixIt, who absolutely nailed it, and went beyond my expectations, and at an extremely reasonable cost! They cleaned out the inside and repasted the processor and tested it, and when I received it back the same day, it was so clean that it looked as if it was brand new again! I’m extremely happy, and recommend their services to anyone who wants to refurbish an old PC at a very reasonable cost, and get it back to its original running condition!

Customer service extremely variable. went in to Bruntsfield branch as battery failing on Iphone11 - they changed the battery very speedily, no questions asked for a cost of £60. When I returned to ask whether it was normal to see only a very marginal improvement after replacing battery I was told my phone was old, I was running too many aps and basically I should buy one of their reconditioned phones instead. Some staff are helpful, some are curt, unhelpful and impatient. If I buy a replacement phone I'm afraid it wont be from them

First of all, guy at the counter complaining he had to do everything himself. Then having left my laptop on October 1st and needing it by latest the 9th ( I was very clear about why this needed to happen) it wasn't ready. Came back to Edinburgh two days early from London so I could work to important deadline over the weekend only to discover they close at the weekend! They dont specify which 5 days they are closed on their notification...what shops close on a Saturday? Wrote to suggest they are clearer about this. No reply. Collected my laptop today, explained what had happened. No acknowledgement or apology but a mumbled ' will tell the people responsible' but of course we know theres only one person as he had made that very clear on day 1. Will not be using this place again.
