Everything was so easy, from going in to receiving the car, I was kept updated and they were happy to answer any questions I had, received my car today and it is better than I could have imagined, Marc dealt with everything and he’s been great

I recently purchased a Landrover at JLR Swansea.
We initially popped in to the show room and we waited ages for someone to acknowledge / greet us, so we decided to revisit on a different day in a hope that our experience would be different.
When we revisited, we were soon greeted and helped by Chey. My requirements were quite specific, along with the price. Chey was efficient and got to work immediately and found us a couple of different vehicles to look at. He was helpful and easy to reach for communication throughout the process. There was some delay in getting invoices and warranty documents from the admin team but these were sent through from Chey, once I had chased them up.
If you’re thinking of buying a car from JLR Swansea, ask for Chey!

What made my experience great? I can answer in two words: George Perkins! he was excellent through out the process, from initial viewing to buying. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional, which was very much appreciated, making the whole process an enjoyable experience.

Having previously bought 5 cars from Landrover, and in the last year giving 2 referrals which resulted in sales, purchasing this car was the worst experience I've had in 8 years.

With 2 salesmen handing in their notice, nobody seemed to take responsibility for my new deal.

One salesman who has since handed in his notice argued with me about my needing to pay a sum in addition to the finance - it seems that he had not even bothered to familiarise himself with the details of my new contract before ringing me. I would have expected that, working for a premium brand, he should be fully conversant with the deal before contacting the customer.
I also had to ring and find out when I needed to put my private plate on retention - again, this is something that should have been noted already by the sales team and contact made with me to discuss.

This did not made me feel like a valued customer who has supported and promoted your business.

After receiving a phone call from Amy the sales manager (who has been fantastic) the service I received did improve.
However, on handover of the new car (Discovery sport) we noticed the 2 front door seals are faulty, meaning that the doors are not closing unless slammed shut. Amy and Richard addressed this straight away when we pointed this out and parts are on order. In addition, the mudguards we requested at the time of ordering the car had not been fitted before handover. Therefore we are booked in to bring the car back for both the seals and mudguards on 18 December.
Whilst I appreciate that the issues are being addressed, I would have expected the issue with the seals to be picked up when the car was received at the garage and prepared ready for handover. The front passenger door seal is the worst and the door never shuts if closed as you should be able to - without slamming.
I hope that, once the above issues have been resolved, we will not need to visit the garage again apart from normal servicing, etc.
We do appreciate everything Amy and Richard B have done to make up for any shortcomings.
