aurora pro is good, but dont recommend buying direct
aurora pro is a good camera
dissapointed i didnt do more research though, at many retail stores they sell the pro along with the illuminator plus a bundle of many accessories for the same price i paid just for the camera itself, i guess i shouldnt buy directly from sionyx if this is how it is.

It's an awesome device
It's an awesome device. I just wish that all of the color scales worked as well as the color one, and I thought the zoom would be better also. But, other than those two things, I love it.

Worst team ever always cancel
Worst team ever I order my item three time all three time my sales was canceled. Finely my item arrived & is not all they advertised I work with US Border patrol & I use different Binocular / scope & work perfectly. Not SiOnyx..

When using the product, there is no Korean patch, so there is some difficulty in using it. Please upgrade the Korean version as well.

Shady business practices?
I was stoked on my new refurb'd Aurora camera purchase for $499 - unfortunately, I just got home from work and checked my email, only to find "order canceled due to fraud". I received No call, no email - just "ORDER CANCELED" and wouldn't you know it -sold out now! I have to say it feels a little shady. Now If I want camera I have to pay an extra $300 on top of waiting for my credit from my first failed purchase. Thanks Sionyx

We have many programs in place to prevent fraudulent activity. Sometimes the system gets confused when you have a different billing address from your shipping address.

I finally received my new Aurora…
I finally received my new Aurora Explorer Pro after there was a mistake in sending me the wrong unit. That's OK, they gave me prompt service and got it looked after right away. I know just have to wait for a clear night and looking forward to using it! Thanks!

The GOOD and BAD
The GOOD:
The unit itself works well.
Compact unit.
Screen is clear.
Buttons are easy to access.
Light sensitivity is good for the price point.
The BAD:
The directions are bad.
The battery life is much shorter then they say.
I don't like that you have to take the mount off to change the battery.

Bought a refurb aurora- UPDATE
Bought a refurb aurora. Shipping and delivery was quick. My unit seems to be set at the end of a clear focus. I really cant get it fully focused because it wont adjust any further in that direction. Meaning that the full range of other motion makes it completely blurry. Hard to give a great review since the sight picture never seems to be in full focus. It always has a slight blur to it. It's even worse in day mode during the day. If I could focus the sight picture so it was clear I would have given it 5 stars for the cost. Overall it is still usable but slightly disappointed that it wont fully focus.
UPDATE 8/10/21. Thank you for the reply Sionyx. I did just as you recommended and am able to get a very clear focus. Thats all it was. thank you so much. Updated from 3 to 5 stars because it actually works excellent. I could not be happier.

We're sorry about your current Aurora experience. One thing you can try is to set the diopter wheel before adjusting the front focus ring.
You can adjust it by rotating up or down with the menu pulled up in the electronic view finder.

Had a issue with my device
Had a issue with my device. Contract support and Bill helped me troubleshoot the device. After we went through all the steps ,it was determined to send it in for a replacement.

Combat infantry Vet
As a Combat infantry Vet I've owned and used various NV devices for hunting and specific operations associated with finding things in the dark. Bar none these are the clearest, lightest and cost efficient that I have used. The optics are comparable to those that cost hundreds more and they are very compact. I mean in the cargo pocket compact. I am a fan. Customer service is also A1. Bill from customer service is the best. I do not work for SIONYX nor did I receive any compensation for my review. I am a very critical person when it comes to Optics and Ammo

The customer service is amazing. My order was placed twice by mistake and after sending an email regarding the situation it was corrected within just a few minutes. I have never seen customer service work as quick as they did.
