Sent me the wrong part and want me to pay return shipping and a restocking fee

I buy a lot of aircraft parts. I decided to try SkyGeek and placed a simple order with them for a part for the carburetor on my Lycoming engine. The package arrived but contained a part in a sealed bag that was not the part the corresponded to the part number. It wasn't close. The bag was marked with the correct part number. I called SkyGeek to try to sort things out because I suspected there was an error in their stock. Carmen, the customer service representative, asked me to send images of the part in the bag and a close-up of the bag. I explained that this part is needed to complete an annual inspection and that my airplane was out of service until I got the part, so I'd appreciate it if they checked their stock and send me the right part immediately. It is a $17 part, and their error, so I anticipated no problems. A few days later I got an email from Carmen. The email told me that I would get a refund if I sent the part back to them AT MY EXPENSE and PAID A RESTOCKING FEE. No mention that they were going to send me the correct part . . . Unbelievable.

First and foremost I would like to apologize for your experience here. I want you to know that I have spoken with McFarlane who confirmed they have shipped out the correct parts to you after they shipped the incorrect pieces and we issued a full refund for the order in the amount of $25.67 on 04/12. You are absolutely correct McFarlane shipping the wrong part to you should have in no way required you to put anything out of pocket for return shipping, the first RMA should have provided you our FedEx account number for the return. I see the agent amended the RMA form to remove any mention of a restocking fee but it looks like she neglected to change the bottom line to provide you that account information This is certainly not the level of service you should have gotten with your issues and we will use this as a teachable moment to our Customer Experience Representatives to ensure something like this does not happen in the future.

Terrible experience

Terrible, very strange experience. I ordered some aviation oil, some CamGuard, and a bottle of bug remover. Over two weeks later I still had not received my order. I used the online form to send a message about it, but got no response. Finally I got a hold of someone and was told the order had never even been picked from the warehouse. I cancelled the order.

Unfortunately 3M pushed out the delivery date on us a few times and I do see we emailed a few times to keep you updated as those dates changed. Looking at the timeline of your order I do see initially the item was out of stock but we were expecting the item from Piper shortly. Sadly it looks like the item was delayed by the vendor several times over the past two months. Unfortunatly we've still seeing supply chain issues due to the ongoing pandemic.

The good news is do see we finally received the parts on 04/06 and shipped them to you that day.

I do see when the order was placed 02/09 some of the items were out of stock. Looking at the email confirmations we had initially expected your order to ship 04/06 with the back-orders but I do see the product arrived a bit earlier than expected and your order shipped out on 03/30.

Please note that international orders will only ship complete to save our customers on shipping costs.

Worst customer service ever!

We had an AOG and paid the expedited fee to have an RG-500 battery shipped to us ASAP. During the receiving process, we noticed that the battery had been damaged, placed in another box and shipped to us. It's been more than a month and we are yet to receive our refund for the battery and the AOG fee. No one is picking up the phone, no one is responding to my emails.

I DO NOT recommend doing business with this company!

I ordered 2 Whelen LED par46 lights.Order 576218 They were a good price but I was told its going to take 65 days for my order to ship. I think that this is absolutely ridiculous. If I ordered the lights directly from Whelen it wouldnt take half as long. I'm still waiting and I need the lights. I wont be ordering from them again and I'll spread the word about my experience.

Unfortunately when your order was placed on 02/09 the lights were not in stock. The expected lead time for us to procure them directly from Wheelen was about 60-65 days as Wheelen was also out of stock at that time. I apologize for any confusion.

Unresponsive Customer Service

FedEx tracking number 784114532099 is showing returned to Skygeek and signed for by SSmith on 02/26/2021. Return appears to be due to missing labels or not the correct ones. Been trying to contact Skygeek 4 times with no positive results. This product is urgently needed for aircraft assigned to McConnell AFB.

Still waiting for my aviation parts.

Still waiting for my aviation parts.
Order was placed Feb 4th still waiting for the hardware (4 MS20500-624). It is now Feb 26th. Not a reliable company if you need to finish aviation projects on time. This has happened more than once with SkyGeek.
Can not recommend using this company if you need parts within a reasonable amount of time. I have not received updates for shipping times from skyGeek other than from FedX which states "Scheduled delivery:
Pending" from CT.

Looking at the history of your order I see when the order was placed on 02/04 our email confirmation has an expected ship date of 02/18 due to the parts being out of stock. I do see your order shipped on 02/18 as expected. Unfortunately it does look like FedEx took longer than usual to get the package to you and it didn't arrive until 02/27. I am very sorry you had that experience with FedEx.

I place an order # 573506 on 1/26/2021 for SKU 0515-700XXIKG22K PPG Aerospace Super Koropon 515-700 Green DMS Type I Comp A Spec Fluid Resistant interior Epoxy Primer Gallon kit. The order delivered on 2/4/2021 many days delayed. This order items were shipped by FedEx to Taiwan by Skygeek. I paid the shipping cost $1038.07. But, the order items were not the right one (515-700/910-704) but a wrong one SKU 0515K011XXIG22K (515K011/910-012). Skygeek totally made mistake. It is a two different products. Shipping department make such a terrible mistake, it is unacceptable. Now I have to take care to make correction by contact Skygeek complicate return procedures to return products from oversea country. Can I trust Skygeek again? Please answer me!!!

I ordered an aircraft timer. When it arrived it was apparent that it was defective. I contacted customer service regarding the problem.
They quickly replaced the defective item. I was impressed with the quick resolution to the problem.

Shipment took too long...

Items took almost 2 weeks to be delivered. Notwithstanding the inefficiencies of USPS these days, the delivery could have been quicker particularly given the sizable "shipping" fee for only two small siphon valves. Disappointing.
