We were walking past Slim Chicken in Wembley Boulevard when we saw a new Chicken stop the door was open my son and I walked in to the entrance and was looking at the menue. An Indian man came hand jestering we said we were just looking at the menue he told us to get out as they were not opened . My son said maybe you should put a closed sign.he again started to open the door telling us to get out and come back when he opens the shop then we can ask him a question.how rude can you be to possible clients clearly he don't need a business or referral. When i suggest they place a menue in the window as they had an electronic one that changed pictures ect within a blink of an eye he told us to move off then slamed the door shut. All we were doing was trying to look at a meue or at least be given one to take away.
If you like rude managers/ this is the place for you. But they would never get my money and I intend to exposed the total rudeness of this man. They won't stay open long if this is there attitude to potential customers.

The food tastes good & fresh, i think the tenders were 100% chicken no added water . The Korean BBQ chicken burger was fresh & tasty a little too much sauce for me but that’s probably my personal taste. The chips were cooked fresh & they certainly could teach KFC a thing about cooking them. Love the Cadbury flake milkshake. Keep up the great work guys.

I recently visited Slim Chickens at the Bridgend Outlet Village and had a very disappointing experience with the management, despite initially receiving excellent service from a helpful staff member.
As someone with a gluten allergy, I asked for assistance, and the lady who helped me was incredibly understanding and attentive. She used their allergy iPad to help me find a safe option and offered to clean the milkshake machine to prevent cross-contamination—something she explained was part of their protocol.
However, her professionalism was completely undermined by the manager on duty. He approached her in a passive-aggressive manner, questioning why she was cleaning the machine, and made it very clear that my allergy concern was an inconvenience due to other customer orders. This made me feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, and as if my health wasn’t being taken seriously.
Despite this, the staff member kindly continued to follow the correct procedure and made my milkshake. Unfortunately, the manager returned, visibly upset, and without a word, snatched the milkshake and slammed it into my hand with a scowl before walking away. No apology, no basic courtesy—just a filthy look and a clear display of unprofessional behavior.
I left feeling disrespected and disheartened. It’s unacceptable for a manager—who should be setting the standard—to treat customers with such disregard, especially when dealing with allergy concerns. The frontline staff member deserves praise, but the management here needs serious training in customer service and basic empathy.

I had a really disappointing and upsetting experience during my recent visit to this branch, which unfortunately soured what was supposed to be a special evening celebrating an early Father’s Day and birthday dinner for my dad.

We didn’t realise the restaurant was about to close when we arrived, which was a shame as we were excited to try it out for the first time. When I placed our order, I was told it would be takeaway only, which I understood and respected. While waiting for the food, my elderly father and young nephew sat on one of the benches inside just to rest — they were not eating or causing any disruption.

One of the staff members unnecessarily came up to me with a rude tone and said, “I already told you it’s takeaway only, they can’t be sitting there, we’re closing.” I explained calmly that they were just waiting for me, not dining in, and she just said, “Oh okay,” but the attitude felt dismissive and uncalled for.

Then, when I politely asked another staff member (who had served me earlier) if I could refill my drink — as I had paid for the unlimited drink option and hadn’t yet used it — she told me she’d check, then completely ignored me. I stood there waiting several minutes while she avoided eye contact and hid behind the till. When I finally asked again, she curtly said “no.”

It wasn’t just the answer — it was the clear lack of courtesy and basic customer service. It left me wondering if I was being treated differently because I’m not white. I truly hope that’s not the case, but regardless, the rudeness was unacceptable.

You can enforce policies while still treating people with respect. This experience left a sour taste and I won’t be returning. Slim Chickens needs to work on training their staff in professionalism, communication, and basic decency.

We love slim chicken staines because of the excellent service and the fresh/ tasty chicken tenders plus you get food freebies

Went there today as my friend recommended it. Chicken sandwich taste like rubber and not edible. Customer service was really good. Drinks choices were ok. Sauces are ok. But will not come back I don’t know what it is the food was just horrid.

Chicken was bland and tough. Dips ok , milkshakes great. I will not eat here again once I found out all meat in every UK restaurant is Halal certified. I'm not a religious person. Restaurants should display its Halal

Very bad experience in Cardiff in the mall yesterday! We sat down to get our table and then I was approached by a member of staff asking me to leave my table, as I had yet to order he said someone else wanted to be seated. He was abrupt the way he spoke to me.
I felt very intimidated and upset so I left the restaurant. To be honest your staff need better training on customer service.

I visited Slim Chickens on my lunch break, hoping to film a quick vlog while enjoying a meal. Unfortunately, I left extremely disappointed, especially with the quality of the chicken.

I ordered the 4 Tender Meal and headed to my car to eat, as my lunch breaks are short and I couldn’t walk all the way back to Grand Central. Once I sat down to eat, I immediately noticed something was off with the chicken. The tenders were incredibly tough, so chewy and rubbery that I could barely bite through them. The texture was genuinely off-putting, like trying to chew on dry gum. I’ve attached photos to show exactly what I received.

In the end, I couldn’t eat the chicken at all. The only things I was able to consume were the drink, a few fries, and the piece of toast. The main part of the meal, the chicken, was completely inedible.

I came to Slim Chickens expecting a good experience, especially since I was vlogging it, but I’m very disappointed with the food quality today. I hope this was just a one-off, but it certainly impacted my lunch and my content plans.

Chichester review - A very expensive, nothingness fast food restaurant. Bland over cooked food, priority too delivery riders. Appears to be run by the same company franchise which runs the local KFC, you can tell!!!!

Over priced COLD food. Staff had no idea about what items were safe to eat ( people with nut allergy). One staff member said fries are cooked in peanut oil, another said they have a seasoning contains nuts. Their web site says they don’t. Foot was stone cold

So much salt on the fries, I’m probably going to need a stent. As for the explosion when I got home, I’d rather not talk about that

Went to the new store in Merry Hill today. Massive shoutout to Jade! They should be so proud to have a member of staff like her she was the only one who had a consistent smile on her face and amazing customer service. Well done jade some of the other staff members could learn a thing or two from her!

orderd from just eat £96 worth of chicken told by just eat it was delivered. when in fact it was not not contacted slim chicken in liverpool 5 times. and told they had no delivery in that name. and then kept hanging up on me just eat now refuse to reimburse me for something they did not deliver. also claiming they tried to contact me and left the food in safe place delivering it without getting the code. they have basically stole £96 and just lied about contacting me and leaving it anywhere.

We visited the Meadowhall branch today. We ordered boneless chicken, which turned out to chicken nuggets. We thought it would be chicken strips. The first problem was when it came, I dipped one into the garlic mayo, but I had to spit it out. Because unbelievably it was hot ( heat wise). It was that hot that it burnt my bottom lip. Then we had to wait over 10 mins for it to cool down. Even then it was too hot. When I tried to take apart one into small pieces a hot oil squirted out. I appreciate KFC isn’t healthy but this is far worse.
Having spent many years in catering, I think it was warmed out in a microwave. That’s why it was extremely hot.It was chewy and tasteless . And wasn’t impressed using kitchen rolls as serviette . Will never go there again for definite.

I visited the Marylebone branch which is situated on Edgware Road W1 . I puchased a meal the wings had blood 🩸 and smelt raw I got terrible food poisoning as a result of this meal when I brought to the attention of Gabriel the store manager I was treated with distain no apology no advice rude attitude and completely disregard. No customer service or any type. Of professionalism please Avoid Avoid Avoid also is completely tasteless kfc or McDonald is 100 💯 better and much better hygiene standards I’ve never had food poisoning from kfc or McDonald. Tables were fifthy. & they put a grimy kitchen roll on tables for you to wipe your hands .
