Fantastic record shop (also selling clothing). Great selection of vinyl including new releases in store and online. Love the layout/design of the shop. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Shocking.

Placed many orders in the past, without any issues. The moment I needed to get in contact with them last month though resulted in whoever the muppet is who responds to the emails, to get abusive. I was horrified!

Awful service

Awful service. No communication for weeks then receive derogatory abuse via email after seeking charge back from bank due to their negligent customer service and selling faulty goods. Avoid.

i will not use this company again the…

i will not use this company again the customer service to say the least is next to nothing, not taking my complaint seriously responded to in e-mail complaints in a dismissive manner purchase was placed on 30th march for the all American rejects lp "move along, a failure to also disclose they were using the courier company evri this is an unacceptable timescale for delivery and unacceptable conduct towards a customer they were given an ultimatum yesterday to get their finger out of their behind and have the item here today by 4 pm and i am not being taken seriously they received the purchase cost in a swift manner yet they have zero respect towards customers, i will not be using them again and would not recommend them and further more should the product not be here i will be classing this as fraud and performing an indemnity against them

John, are you actually insane?

You have ordered from us many times, no issues. The other day you sent a ridiculous email saying if your item arrived damaged (it hadn't arrived yet) you were informing the police. You are correct, we did not take that seriously...

The couriers we use are visible on our website and when you purchase, same as every other time you have used us...

You don't give us ultimatums, you mentalist. You have a dispatch email, with a tracking number, showing live updates. You refuse to look at it.

You are welcome to class it as fraud and perform an indemnity, we will simply perform the task of showing the tracking details.....

Wrong album received & don't respond to emails

The record took 15 days to arrive from purchase. I sent a couple of emails asking for a delivery date as I'd heard nothing sunce the confirmatory email and received no response. When the album eventually arrived it was not as I ordered. It should have been on clear vinyl. I see no point contacting them as they don't respond. Terrible customer service.

Not a great experience

Not a great experience. Purchased a record. No contact or update from SOS records regarding expected delivery. Only after chasing them for an update did they cancel the order due to no available stock. Poor service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very poor experience with Save our Souls, bought an album but when it was delivered by Evri they didn't knock even tho' I was in all day and it was left in full view of anybody walking past, when I got confirmation of delivery from Evri which was nearly 2 hours after I went to get it but nothing was there.
I have been in touch with Save our souls on a number of occasions about how to rectify this problem but no one seems to want to reply to my emails. So at the moment I have no LP and I am out of pocket to the tune of £30 odd quid.
SHOCKING EXPERIENCE
Good luck to anyone who buys from this shop because if you have any problems you'll be on your own you'll get no joy out of these.

Excellent service and fantastic quality…

Excellent service and fantastic quality vinyl record. The pressing is clean with no surface noise, and the sound quality is rich and warm throughout. The packaging was also very well done — securely wrapped to prevent any damage in transit, and the sleeve arrived in perfect condition.

Delivery was prompt, and communication from the seller was clear and helpful. Overall, a smooth and professional transaction from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from you again. Highly recommended for any vinyl collector.

Disappointing

I’ve noticed this company has two trustpilot profiles so I hope this is the active one. I ordered a record for my father’s Christmas present on 19th December so wasn’t really expecting it to arrive in time. I did get in touch between Christmas and new year to ask when it might be dispatched so I could let my dad know and received quite a grumpy reply that I had interrupted their Christmas break. It was dispatched 1st January but never arrived. Evri confirmed the item had gone missing and said they would discuss with the company and that I should too. The company advised me that Evri just say that and that it will probably turn up but they will discuss a refund if it hasn’t arrived in 23 working days. I waited and then got in touch after 23 working days (it didn’t just turn up) and have received no answer or acknowledgment of my email. I have emailed three times and heard nothing. For some reason this doesn’t surprise me. I ordered from an independent record shop on purpose as I don’t like big chains but have been pretty surprised by the reluctance to engage in customer service.

Forgot my order until chased on it

Took my money for an order their website said was in stock.
I waited two weeks with no notification of dispatch, and only when I contacted them asking what was going on did they cancel and refund the order and the item is now showing as out of stock on the website.
I had no personal response to my enquiry, just a 'your order has been cancelled' email.
Surely you know if something is out of stock before two weeks later?

Update: Having spoken to the company, I can see that the product page did include a note about pre-order status, which I missed. That's on me, and I apologise for the inaccurate initial review.
That said, I do think the experience could be improved. My enquiry was a simple, polite question about dispatch status — I never requested a cancellation or refund. Having my order cancelled with no explanation or personal communication, and then being told in their public response that I should have "read things perhaps," doesn't feel like great customer service.
I'll leave this at 3 stars as a fair middle ground.

Quite a bizarre review.

This is a bit awkward as we did not "forget about your order" at all...

Yes, we took your money as that is what happens when you order something, money is exchanged for goods or services.

We did indeed know it was out of stock. It even says on the product page "Please note, our next stock delivery of this item is towards the end of February 2026. Customers are welcome to order to secure the stock we have coming in. Please do not order if you are not prepared to wait."

We did think the bold text would be enough for people to not miss but seems that is not the case for you.

The reason it is now showing as out of stock is that we sold the amount we have coming in, including the one you ordered, so have no move units to sell, hence it is out of stock now.

You asked for a refund if it was not going to be sent immediately so you received a refund. Your unit was then offered to the next person on the waiting list who ordered immediately.

We do not need to personally respond to you when all the information has already been supplied in a clear and concise manner via an automated procedure.

Surely, the effort to go to this much trouble to write an email could be better spent elsewhere, like on reading things perhaps...

UPDATE FOLLOWING CUSTOMER CHANGING TO 3 STARS:

This is the email they sent us:

"Hello,
I'd like to extend an olive branch as I can see where I was wrong regarding my review left earlier today, and as such will be removing it.
I did in fact not read the description, my bad there, I had no idea it would contain pre-order information, I saw a record was in stock that I wanted, so I ordered it.
I placed the order not understanding it was a pre-order, which I am fine with now that I've read the full description."

Clearly customer just likes to have their ego stroked and because we wouldn't agree we are in the wrong, they haven't done what they said they would do, not surprising at all. Who has this much time to actually go to this much effort to write a review, realise they are wrong, write an email, then go back and edit a review?

We stand by what we said. If you had gone to this much effort to read the bold text at the very top of the product page (which you admit you did not) then that would have been a better use of your time and saved you getting this upset.

Look forward to this going back to 1 star so they get their endorphins...
