12/07/2020 - fault ticket opened
20/07/2020 - Spider VPN had set up a remote session with me to fix my internet issue but never joined instead of they have canceled my ticket.
23/07/2020 vpn not fixed yet, no communication with the seller, rubbish customer service, open ticket cancelled again.
23/07/2020 ticket re opened and @ received from Spider to set up an online session again, will see how it goes.
25/07/2020 Problem has been fixed after 2 weeks of waiting (UK VPN location was not working properly)
Wondering if it's worth even saying my findings on here as they will just report as spam unless positive?! Think Trustpilot need to consider that.
...don't pay their "staff" i.e their affiliates selling for them. Ignore emails. Full of excuses. There is a good few of us in the same situation in a group on a forum in discussion. We have proof. There are due us thousands of pounds!
Myself and loads of my customers have given up with the cheap useless routers too.
The recent bad reviews didn't surprise me. They won't be around long at this rate.
Don't buy more than a month's sub with these con merchants! So I used this company a couple of years ago with there pro router. All went well then I didn't need it anymore. The need arose again so naturally I returned to spider. This time I made the mistake of buying a 2year plan. Well during the first year I suffered drop outs and low speed. I got in touch with spider and every time it was the same. Update the firmware reset the router. This used to fix the problem for about 3 days! After a year I'd had enough so cancelled my plan. Naturally they came back trying to keep me with yet another firmware update. This time I declined as I'd already bought an app for my needs. I said they could have the router back as I have no need for it if they supplied a returns label (its after 12 months so no need to return at all) and asked for a 50% refund. Well if wasn't for the fact that there are more and more unscrupulous companies out there every day and I've come across a few then I'd be shocked at the reply. Sorry no refund your out of your 30days!!!! So when buying a service for 2 years that doesn't work according to these jokers you have now redress. They obviously don't know the law of the land and if I have to take them to small claims which I will then that's fine, but I thought I'd warn anyone out there thinking of handing over their cash to these people....don't it's another example of people who take your money and don't give 2 fluffs what service they provide. If your paying for 120mbs broadband to your house then expect 10mbs after it's gone through a spider router and if you want your connection to be rock solid stick to your own because this one booted you off at least 3 times a week oh and the best one which is always good when using a vpn was if you didn't check quite often youd be connected to spider router thinking all was well and then you'd find the router was just blrting out you ISP IP without any vpn shielding at all!!! So forgive me if I want my money back you didn't provide what you sold!!!!
No I'm not trying to spam you toy are just very corrupt in the way you do business charging for 2 years sub then when it doesn't work will not refund half the sub what an utter set of conning fools. KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET OR AT LEAST PAY MONTHLY BECAUSE PAYING IN ADVANCE YOU WILL BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!!!

Connects OK, and easy to set up, internet works. There are however two major issues with the Spider VPN.
1) Their endpoint IP addresses are frequently on the Spamhaus list for spam email. This means that outgoing email gets blocked by your email provider. Not the email providers fault, they just take note of the Spamhaus list. Spider VPN need to ensure their endpoints are not on the Spamhaus lists.
2) Frequently get error messages out of google saying they have detected unusual traffic from the network and requiring a CAPTCHA to continue. This should not happen.

Was recommend to use spider vpn from a friend.
Only issue I had was flashing to the latest firmware. This was sorted by the tech team connecting to my laptop remotely and sorting the problem out from there end.

I overlooked the bad reviews about Spider VPN as there were a fair few good ones... What a mistake! When I took out spider VPN I waited weeks for my router to arrive. When it eventually arrived it worked pretty much out of the box. I checked that my IP was hidden and it was. I stupidly trusted that this would continue. 6 Month later my subscription ran out, I didn't get the notifications as the emails went to my spam (admittedly not Spider VPN's fault), however this stopped my service. After I made payment and the service was resumed this prompted me to check if my IP was hidden, it wasn't. I contacted Spider VPN to find out why and apprently my router required a firmware update, so god only knows how long I had been paying for a VPN that didnt work. . I went weeks without the service whilst Spider VPN's "technical team" tried over remote sessions FIVE times to update the router. Each time I had to be there to give them access (also note they took a considerable long time to answer my queries and arrange remote sessions). They managed to get the router to hide my IP however it was so slow it was unusable. I spent hours watching them try and update the router, total waste of my time, and all of that time had no working VPN. Obviously extremely frustrated, I asked them to cancel the service so I could take my business to a competent VPN service. This is when they turned extremly abrupt and even more unhelpful than they were before (if that was possible!). They told me I had to send the router back, which is fair enough. However when I asked if they were paying the postage costs (bearing in mind I wasn't asking to be compensated for the hours of my time they had wasted) they said NO!!!! I had to argue and make a complaint for them to pay the paltry postage costs of sending their useless router back after wasting so much of my time. Their excuse for not being able to fix the router was that it was "a local problem as no one else was experiencing it". Incompetent advisors and manager and a service that just doesn't work. Avoid at all costs.

Been having issues trying to update spidervpn router to latest firmware,contacted support who passed me over to tech support who done a remote assistance on my laptop then proceeded to flash my router onlinr,really helpful,really patient as well.
Bought their router a few months ago and it's been spot on. I've had only one problem and a software update sorted it. The instructions they sent were excellent, you never felt that it wouldn't work afterwards.
Thanks to SpiderVPN's Support Team, my connection troubles were fixed. I am now enjoying fast and stable traffic.

Bought a pro router package. Installed it and all was perfect. But depending on the location used, the router disconnects frequently. For example, impossible to use the Norway or Australia. Connected to Netherlands, it disconnects frequently. Connected to Italy, it is stable.

I work.in IT and have been amazed at the speed this service delivers. By far the fastest VPN I have ever used. The customer service is 2nd to none. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they resolve any issue or query promptly. I cannot reccomend highly enough. I have been using myself for over 12 months and have advised family and friends and all have received the same excellent service.
I will use no one else from this point.

This service is faster, more efficient, effective than Sky or Virgin etc and treats you as a human! So if you have an issue don't reach for the tissue, just let 'em know.

Great service fast speeds on hard wired zgemma speeds of 161MB
on 213 MB connection.WIFI is a lot quicker than wifi from isp router.Support is very good had problem with router not connecting to internet sorted with one e-mail.Had the service 6 months now and that was the only problem i had with not connecting to internet
Just works great! Does what it says. Having searched around for the best value for money router vpn service, I settled on Spider. Ordered my Spider Pro 2 year bundle and in warp-speed the router was delivered. It couldn't be easier to set up - just screw in the aerials, plug in one lead then the power lead - job done! The technical bit is the user web pages. There is an awful lot of data available, mostly for the very technical minded. I soon realised that I was connected to a server, in I think, Switzerland. This was no use as I couldn't access sites such as BBC iPlayer. So I set about changing servers. I did it all (so I thought) but it didn't work, I was still stuck on the wrong server. I left a message and soon was sent some instructions (which I probably could have found on the help pages if I'd tried hard enough). The instructions worked, I failed to do just one thing. This done all was great and I'm on a UK server. I live in a period building, so wifi struggles to penetrate the whole house. My Spider Pro router wifi works great I'm pleased to say. I purchased a 2 year subscription straight off because the deal was great value and included the cost of the router. So, all in all I love my Spider vpn and would thoroughly recommend it.

Let me just say the spider VPN is the BEST without a doubt for speed for customer services everything I have tried many VPN'S over the year's all so so-called best that you see advertised everywhere not even one comes close to spider VPN.
