Go to official Sri Lankan government site eta.gov.lk website to apply for visa, unless you are happy to pay 3 or 5 times the cost of per visa. I can accept other providers providing similar services at a reasonable higher cost of say up to 10% of what the official site is charging, however when providers charge 3-5 times the cost of visa, that is a rip off. There are a few of these companies who optimize search and appear on top of sponsored search results. Some may not be scammers but rather price gougers Instead look for official government site eta.gov.lk and apply direct. Much easier and takes the same amount of time.

This company is a big scam. Do not pay or put your details in to the website.

They are in no way an official agency that represent the Sri Lankan government. The actual visa to Sri Lanka cost 10x less than what they charge. Go to the official website to apply for visa.

The process was pretty easy and not too complicated. The documentation requirement was also simple without the need for a lot of backup documents like bank statements, invitation letters etc.

I found the eta site a bit hard to navigate but I got there in the end and $80 admin fees are bit pricey but I am hoping all that will fade into insignificance when we arrive in Sri Lanka

Scam, don't use this website. Visa fee is USD 50 and the admin fee is USD 80. Shame on you.

It s a con charges you 139 usd vs 50 usd and much more cumbersome

We almost got scammed using this site from our New Zealand address. We realized this was not the official site just before completing the payments section and singed off. About 15 minutes later we got a call from a UK +44 phone number. The lady said we hadn't completed our payment for the Sri Lanka ETA and that she would help us over the phone. We told her that we wanted to cancel the application, She was pleasant enough and tried to get us to continue over the phone. We refused and eventually she said she understands we want to cancel. Since then I have been getting emails with last minute offers and discounts to get a VISA. I'm glad I have read other reviews here and didn't get scammed. Thanks to others who have submitted reviews. Unfortunately for me, they now have all my personal details.

I paid €132 on 13 March 2025 through srilankaimmigration.org for a Sri Lanka ETA. Due to a serious neurological condition, I could not travel and requested either a refund or visa extension.

Despite sending multiple emails and attaching my medical certificate, I received no response. I have now filed reports with CASE Singapore, IMDA, and Singapore Police (via I‑Witness).

This is clearly a third-party site that charges significantly more than the official government portal and offers no support. Avoid using it. Always apply through eta.gov.lk — the official Sri Lankan ETA website.

Recently, I used a third-party service that charged a significantly higher fee to process a tourist visa for Sri Lanka. Despite their assurances, the visa was not issued on time, which caused considerable inconvenience. As a result, I had to obtain a visa directly from Sri Lankan immigration upon arrival.

I contacted the service to request a refund due to the delay and the fact that their service was ultimately not used. However, they refused to issue a refund. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially given the additional expense and the stress caused by the last-minute visa arrangements.

Scam – We got charged $218!

We were scammed for $218! This website is a fraud and not connected to the official Sri Lankan government. It looks professional but charges way more than the real visa costs. Do not use this site! I hope others see this and don’t make the same mistake.

This is not the official srilankan immigration site. Fortunately, they've bought this domain name which is HIGHLY MISLEADING and perfect strategy for them to make 10 times more money than the actual visa cost.

I mistakenly applied for my Sri Lanka visa through this fraudulent website, which charged me $80 more than the official government site. They mimic the real application process, making it seem legitimate, but they provide no added value—just an unnecessary surcharge.

After realizing my mistake, I tried contacting them for a refund, but their customer support was unhelpful and unresponsive. This site preys on travelers who don’t notice they’re not on the official page.

I want to rate srilankaimmigration.org even lower. They duped us and dented us with USD 405 by charging us. My wife simply applied for tourist Visa on Sri Lankan Immigration website for which we received a response from them followed by seconday email from above website with a payment link. My wife misunderstood this and thinking that this is for Visa, she made the payment only later realising that Visa is free for Indian nationals in Sri Lanka. We are not sure how this company got hold of our info and send us the payment link immediately. Worst part is that they issued the visa and are stating that this fees is towards their services that they have provided and are apologising for their miscommunication.However they refused to refund our money. They have showed in the application that they are charging the fee for UAE national meanwhile we are Indians. We have reported this issue to Sri Lankan consulate as well
