We discovered Steel River Gin as we do many things during my wife's Facebook scrolling. Most of what she would come across is jokes and recipes. Most of the items and products are themselves 'jokes'. Something about SteelRiver Gin caught her eye, we ordered a bottle as we are gin lovers and 'POW' a great product. We gave the Gin Club and whirl and haven't looked back since. Amazing gins, well presented and always an enjoyable experience with the thoughtful fun monthly boxes. The 'patter' with their personal is friendly and fun too. Our advice, order a tipple and get onboard.

I regularly buy gin from Steel River. There is a good choice of flavours, which are all great and the gin is always delivered very quickly. It's nice to be able to support a small business and I am never disappointed when I order gin from this company.

So, I'm a huge fan of Steel River Gin and joined the 265 Club when it was first established. There is not a gin Jay has created that I wouldn't recommend. His ingenuity and imagination when inventing new flavours is genious. The whole team are lovely, helpful and friendly and the events they host are so much fun. I would definitely recommend a gin school evening and a session in the speakeasy. All I can say is, try it ... you'll love it!

Have been a 265 club member from the start. Got my first box of treats during lockdown and within a few months had to buy a ‘gin’ trolley and a few months later a second one. Every month a different flavour and , unlike many gins, they taste exactly and strongly as described. Staff are amazing and the shop is like stepping into the Willy Wonka gin factory, complete with its own speakeasy. If you haven’t tried it, what are you waiting for?

I can’t comment on the Gin as my only to date purchase was a bottle for my mates 50th. Ild read good things about Steel River and ended up getting a Black Cats bottle for my Mackem mate which came with a miniature filled hip flask and a football key ring. Ordering was simple and delivery was tracked and quick.
Really great quality package with a personalised touch at a sensible price. What’s not to like. Defo be back.

Love the initial Stainsby Girl gin. Prefer the dryer gins but plenty of choice for other preferences. Great little shop and speakeasy. Several interesting special gins produced as national events occur. Highly recommended local company (Teesside)

I discovered Steel River Gin during the first wave of Covid/Lockdown and have been part of the monthly subscription ever since! Then they opened the premises in Stockton and hold Gin making nights among other events. The 'secret speakeasy' room is amazing too. I'm really pleased to support a local, independent, hardworking team.

So having tried the vodka- which converted me to drinking vodka, I was really excited to have these guys come and do a demo at our WI meeting.

Tried lots of gins, which are all great, and bought a bottle of ‘olive twist’ gin. Oh my goodness…. Sharp tang of lime with a hint of rosemary and olive. Absolutely gorgeous!!

Beautiful bottles, and even better you can buy a refill pouch and do your bit for the planet!

Have been buying Steel River gins ever since I was gifted a bottle of Stainsby Girl on my birthday (5 years ago) - it’s still my all time favourite but there isn’t one I’ve ever tried that has disappointed (and I’ve tried most of them, including special editions). Jay and his staff are incredible and service (and humour) is first class. I hear the vodka is great too but I’m a committed gin drinker.

Brilliant gin made with love and attention to detail. Steel River is all about premium gin at a reasonable price. They have a gin for everybody without fail. They also do a lot to support local charities and good causes. Cannot recommend those gin enough.

Been getting gin from Jay not long after he started up. In fact, we had to buy a cabinet for all the lovely creations of his over the years. Not all flavours will tickle your fancy of course, but that's the fun of trying new things!
One thing is for sure, you could never say his flavours are boring! Stainsby Girl (his first gin I believe) is one of my all time favourite gins. The smell and flavour are just something else. :)

Fabulous gin and vodka in the most delicious flavours, made in Teesside! I have purchased gin bottles, refill pouches, mini pouches, merchandise such as glasses and I’ve also been a subscriber to their gin clubs. Great friendly service, wonderful inventive products and reasonably priced. What’s not to like?!

Great local company with a superb personal touch. Have ordered gins right from when the company first started and it was hand delivered by the owner himself. Lots of unique flavoured gins, cannot fault them.

Tried Stainsby Girl gin for the first time this month during a little dinner party with friends. Not only did it taste delicious but the girls loved the little colour changing surprise! Recommended to all the girls. I'll be back for more.
