Great prompt & informative service on handling my property sale

During the past year I have used Stephen Rimmer for the estate of my late husband, up-dating my will and the selling/buying of my new home. I received excellent service throughout - professionalism, empathy, approachability, helpfulness and patience. I thoroughly recommend this firm of solicitors.

Jack and Lisa were the best conveyancing team we could ask for. They were determined, informative and great communicators.

We purchased a property which had been repossessed and was currently being overseen by a management company. Our bid was accepted in April and due to a dreadful solicitors firm being appointed as the sellers solicitors we did not complete until mid November.

Jack and Lisa took care of the initial enquires and searches in a prompt manner and kept me updated of the stages of the process. As this was my first house this was a great relief as I wasn’t entirely sure of all the requirements and forms needed to sign off before completion.

The buyers report was detailed and had all the information needed to make an informed decision. Jacks details and instructions attached were extremely helpful.

Once we were ready to exchange we faced lots of problems with the sellers solicitor as they refused to cooperate and ignored any correspondence. Jack and Lisa were persistent and nine weeks after we were ready to exchange we finally completed. Due to the nature of this case it was agreed that exchange and completion would occur on the same day and this was seamless with no issues. Both Jack and Lisa were required to do far more work than I expect is normal in this house purchase but chased everyday and kept me well updated along the way.
