Very friendly and informative

I tend not to leave reviews often, but this place easily warrants it. I used a large unit for two months earlier this year due to an unanticipated property move. This place was the only part of the entire process that had zero stress or pressure, when navigating the logistics of everything to do.

Firstly, this is not the cheapest storage place in the area, which you possibly already know. However, when checking alternatives, I had suspicions it would be a false economy to go elsewhere and lose the services this company provide - and after using this place for several months and completing the move, my suspicions were easily warranted.

Sign up procedure: Quick and easy. No upfront deposit required. You just pay upfront for 4-week blocks, but you can stop with 1 day notice and they will refund you any unused days once your unit is empty.

They provide:
One free large van collection if you are a new customer and local to the area. This was a game changer as it substantially reduced the cost of a self van hire or removal firm to move things in (and further justifies their rates). Their van will arrive at your location at an agreed day/time, let you load their van in the order you prefer, and then drive back to the storage place for you to unload.

24/7 access. This was also a game changer as most competitors had limits on access days and times. Even if you intend to operate within Mon-Fri 9-5, things can go wrong (motorway closures, road incidents, delivery companies don't arrive on time etc... or maybe you simply forgot the odd item). I spent most of the moving time in the early evenings and weekends which suited my schedule and helped immensely.

Free padlock. Not much for some - but it saves hassel until you can grab your own if you didn't arrive with one.

Large loading bay. I ended up visiting about 20 times all told. There was only once when I needed to wait 5 minutes until a parking bay became available on an exceptionally busy weekend. All other times there was plenty of space.

They provide small and large flatbeds and lift forks to help shuttle everything from the loading bay into your unit. I had no issues moving anything from small tubs through sofas.

A shop with boxes, protective packaging, dust covers, tapes and other items. Useful once everything is in place if you notice you misjudged storage plans! They also have large TVs showing 24/7 CCTV monitoring for your peace of mind.

A PO box/recipient service if you need anything delivered here directly (I didn't have a need for this myself).

Toilets and a kitchen room with free tea/coffee, vending machine, microwaves. This really helped with the larger moving days!

The building is also kept very clean and tidy - it was actually surprising when I first arrived given the nature of their business.

The team themselves are also very cheery and helpful. Rob, the manager of the Preston location clearly knows his craft, as well as predicting the kinds of queries or concerns customers who are in the process of moving house may have.

I would definitely use this facility again in the future if/when needed.

The staff are all very approachable and always really friendly and helpful - five stars just for these guys! The facilities are good, the storage units themselves are secure and dry and the additional facilities are really good, especially having board rooms available to work from and the kitchen area is an added bonus.

its only been 1 day,but so far so good and really helpfull staff.

We used this storage facility, excellent level of service. The pricing was fully explained and they sent emails to remind you when the money was going out with the invoice. On sign up the team where friendly and approachable, explained the process. Easy to sign up and begin using straight away.
Using the storage was really effective for us, coming and going when we needed and trolleys available. When we notified them we had emptied the rented space, again very friendly and I had my 3 days refunded within 1 hour.
Highly recommended and we would use again if we need to store our things.
