I had a great experience at Geely…
I had a great experience at Geely Northampton. From the moment I arrived, the team were welcoming and really easy to talk to. They gave me plenty of time to look around and didn’t make me feel pressured at all, which I really appreciated.
The whole process was smooth and well organised, and everything was explained clearly. It made what can sometimes feel like a stressful experience actually really enjoyable.
Really pleased with the service and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new car.

We had a fantastic experience meeting Lloyd and Matthew Cull for a test drive of the Geely Starray. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout. They took the time to explain the benefits of buying new versus used car and walked us through the PCP process, providing the vital information we needed to weigh our options. Waste of time, lack of interest
Looked at length at the cars on sale on the forecourt. Found 2 we were interested in buying. Registered at reception to discuss..they had no interest in the cars we were looking at from the staff. Told a 15 minute wait. Finally, 45 minutes later someone came to talk to us. They Confirmed if we needed finance (no!), total disinterest in meeting our requirements from them. Then said that couldn’t find the cars we wanted on the website. Left in disgust after a wasted hour.

The service we received from Tyreke and Daniel was exemplary
Right from the second we pulled up in the car park to the moment we drove away in our new car, the service we received from Tyreke and Daniel was exemplary.
Their transparency, alongside their wealth of expertise and advice, made this purchase a delight.
We didn't spend a fortune on our car, but that made no difference to the attention we received.
I would highly recommend Synter for a used car purchase of any value, and let's hope, when you visit, you are lucky enough to be assisted by Ty or Daniel!

I wasn’t sure what to expect walking…
I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into Geely Northampton — it’s a newer brand in the UK and, to be honest, I’d heard mixed things about Geely in general. But my visit turned out to be much better than expected.
From the moment I stepped into the showroom, the team made me feel welcome. There wasn’t the usual pushy sales vibe you sometimes get at car dealers — instead, they were friendly and genuinely helpful. I had plenty of questions about the Geely EV range, and the advisor I spoke to took time to explain features, charging, and running costs without rushing me.
My sales person, Dan (who others have also praised in reviews), was great — patient, knowledgeable, and didn’t make me feel pressured to buy right away. When I mentioned I was in a bit of a rush, they actually sped up the process for me, which was a real relief and made the whole experience smoother. 
The whole paperwork and handover process was quick — definitely quicker than I’ve experienced at other dealers. They explained everything clearly, and I walked out feeling confident about my purchase rather than confused by jargon.
Now, if I’m honest, there were some uncertainties — since Geely is still quite new in the UK, you don’t see loads of long-term reviews online yet. And while one person mentioned that the buying process was “quick and easy,” I couldn’t find many detailed stories about aftersales or servicing specifically from this showroom.  So if you love hearing about long-term ownership before committing, that part might feel a bit thin right now.
Overall though? My experience was positive. Welcoming staff, no pressure, clear information, and a quick buying process made a big difference. If you’re considering a Geely — especially something like the EX5 or Starray — I’d definitely recommend popping into Northampton to see for yourself. Thank you!!!

Test Driving the new Geely Starray
Had a meeting today with Lloyd, for a test drive of the new Geely Starray, upon meeting, I was immediately offered refreshments, sat down to sort out some paperwork and was then left for a short while to familiarise myself with the controls of the car, Lloyd came out with us for the test drive, and apart from his excellent knowledge of the local area, he was also a mine of information regarding the car itself (no mean feat as the car only arrived at the centre the day before), anything he did not know was communicated to his boss, who came back swiftly with an answer. I left with options on all three models of the car, and felt confident that the information received from Lloyd was true and correct, an all round good experience

A multitude of issues
A multitude of issues: a car fault in a new model which caused weeks of inconvenience, no availability at the shop to put this right for months, terrible loan car options, no communication between body shop and other agencies so WORK COMPLETELY MISSED and a wasted trip and fuel expense to collect the vehicle!! We had provided clear information including videos and pictures of what was needed and this was STILL IGNORED and no explanation offered as to how on earth this oversight occurred. Stuck with a tiny and unsuitable car for our family for another weekend. Not impressed at all!
